Attend na.

For the first time, in attending different webinars, this is the only webinar that picked my interest and did not feel bored and not feel uninterested. Despite it being long, almost 3 hours, I still feel interested until the end of the meeting.

It’s on point since day 1.

All the topics were specific and tackled smoothly using the easy terms words and examples; and there’s no “paligoy-ligoy”.  That’s why I learned a lot even though I have zero knowledge in stock market investing.  Coach Cynthia was a very effective speaker, because she knew what the participants wanted to know directly.

Recap for what I learned from Day 1:

*How to get started in stock market investing e.g. how to open trader’s account,

               *How to invest wisely,

               *Make a clear goal,

*Stock broker is necessary in investing in stock market,

*Always check the legit website e.g. PSEi

*Know more and study first before investing,

               * Lists of blue chips in PSEi and how or when to check the existing blue chip lists,

*Diverse your investments in different industry for risk management,

               * And many more..

Now in DAY 2, it was more interesting and exciting, because the topics were more precise and can be understood easily by giving examples.

Here’s are the lessons I have learned in day 2 Webinar topic:

*The effectiveness of cost saving averaging,

*For long term investment a fixed amount of money e.g. 8k for every 3 months in a period of 5 years or longer years.

*How to pick a Good stock by investing in blue chip stocks though it has some side down effect, but it can be avoided if you:

  • Study and learn the metrics of the stocks,
  • By gathering accurate data in every blue chips listed in PSEi,
  • By comparing the data you gathered per industry.

*Buy stocks that are on sale so it will be cheap.

*3 ways to make money from dividends, such as: Cash dividend, stock dividend and property dividend.

*3 important dates to remember: Declaration of Cash Dividend, Ex-dividend date and payment date.

*The simple method is the LOIL method (Living on Interest Lifestyle.

*Find out and learn those stocks that give more dividends in terms of annual, semi-annual or quarterly and how much they give regularly.

*Checking Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)

*Don’t be discouraged easily and hold your emotions even if your investment has loses. Be patient because it will rise again eventually.

*Start immediately investing even a little amount of money, be consistent in investing regularly and continue learning the ins and outs of the stock market to gain more knowledge about the stock market so that you can achieve your goal in the not so distant future.

*Lists of Blue Chips in PSEi are unsteady so it must be checked at least quarterly.

*Stock market is not constant, it can rise now or fall later, but historically it always rises and rises again based on years of stats shown.

Very thankful to coach Cynthia for providing and sharing her portfolios when she started stock market investing and for sharing her simple, yet effective methods and strategies in investing.

I am excited to try those methods. Also, for providing some data and sample stats in some blue chips that are informative and can be used as guide by the participants.

Don’t forget the applicable quotes in stock market investing by Warren Buffet:

“Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.”

“The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.”

That’s all and thank you so much for this opportunity.
