Be the Change.

Actor Richard Gere took part in a social experiment by disguising himself as a homeless person, and it turned out to be a profound experience. He shared, "I dressed up as a homeless person, and no one noticed. People walked past me, looking at me with disgust.

Only one kind lady offered me food. The experience was truly eye-opening.

We often forget to appreciate what we have and how fortunate we are. If we can help someone, we should do it without hesitation. That’s why I wanted to do this experiment.

Afterward, I drove around town, handing out food and giving $100 to every homeless person I met. Their tears of gratitude were overwhelming.

Be the change you want to see today."

Utang na loob.

What are your thoughts on Utang ng Loob ?

We give without expecting anything in return - because the premise is - you are abundant that's why we are able to give !

And yet sometimes you are surprised at the gesture that it comes back to you.

We reciprocate. They say this is VERY FILIPINO

And the chain of reciprocity never ends.

However , my belief is UTANG NG LOOB -rooted on GRATEFULNESS is magnanimous !

We have Utang Loob so we are generous not just towards the one kind to you but to many .

Kindness becomes our language and yes we strive to be better and better and love overflows

Kanino ka May UTANG NG LOOB ?

Say a prayer for those who paved the way for us to be the person that we are … ( and yeah , I am at that point where I am praying for the one hurt me too)

Some Lesson On Finances.

 SOME LESSONS ON FINANCES 💯

1. Must have EMERGENCY FUND - enough for 6 months of expenses/current lifestyle.

2. SAVE MONEY and MONEY WILL SAVE YOU. Don't save what is left after spending. Only spend what is left after saving.

3. Best to have ZERO DEBT, if you can't pay cash, you CAN'T AFFORD it, nothing beats PEACE OF MIND.

4. Avoid unnecessary spendings, forget sale price, everything is 100% off when you don't buy it. Don't waste your money on things that you don't need, even if they are cheap. EVERY PESO COUNTS!

5. Learn to BUDGET - it is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went!

6. If we buy things that we don't need, we will have to SELL THINGS THAT WE NEED.

7. PRETENDING TO BE RICH can make us poor. Must learn to live BELOW MEANS. Don't go broke trying to look rich.

ACT YOUR WAGE.

8. MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING, but we cannot deny the fact that we NEED money for our FAMILY.

9. Always have a BACK-UP PLAN for life's uncertainties.

Start having your personal LIFE INSURANCE with INVESTMENT.

10. Let's break the TOXIC FAMILY CULTURE about FINANCES.

Your children is not your retirement fund, and your parents is not your emergency fund.

Being Housewife Is a 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. ❤⁣ ⁣

Have you seen this post going around lately? ⁣

"Nakakakapagod na magwork, gusto ko na lang maging housewife."⁣

⁣Many were triggered by this and I am not surprised. I myself had a tinge of negative emotions here. (But hey, I am not here to bash her.)⁣

⁣It's just really interesting how others view being a housewife as something easy. ⁣

⁣Sadly, it is not. (Well maybe if you have 10 alalays and lots of money that you don't have a lot to worry about.)😜⁣

⁣In the early years of our family, there was a time that we didn't have any helper and I had 3 toddlers, a big house to take care of (and not to mention a kennel full of dogs of sensitive breed with puppies na minsan ni-tu-tube feed ko pa.) Imagine the chores I had to do. And I forgot to mention, my partner only went home every weekend because we lived in Bulacan at that time and he was working in the city. ⁣

⁣It. Wasn't. Easy. Thus the depression. ⁣

⁣The fact that I had 3 humans fully dependent on me, mabigat na na responsibility. I had to keep them safe, nourished and healthy, and made sure they were learning new things. Toddlers eh. Plus all other Mommy stuff pa that I had to do. ⁣

⁣𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗼 𝘆𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗱 𝗸𝗮 𝗻𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗱 𝗺𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲? Sure, fulfilling naman talaga sya especially when you see how beautifully your kids are growing.... but sometimes, when you need to buy something for yourself or for your kids - money does matter. It's draining, di lang ng energy but also ng self-esteem.⁣

⁣And what can make it more painful is that if one's husband or partner doesn't see those efforts, kasi nga no Php value. I know many Moms experience this. They feel worthless because their productivity doesn't translate to money. ⁣

⁣There are men who love to have their wives at home to manage the household and be hands on in taking care of their kids but they fail to or forget to recognize their efforts. 😔 (Oh men please, be these Mommas' source of strength, not heartache.)⁣

⁣Being a housewife isn't something you only do 9am to 5pm... It's round the clock, 24/7 work. And Moms give their all, sagad hanggang kaluluwa. ⁣

⁣I hope someday no one will look down on the term "housewife"... no one will regard it as "housewife lang"... 𝗱𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗡𝗔 𝗽𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 (𝗸𝗮𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗺, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗺, 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗺) 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. ❤⁣

Don't loose faith. Keep praying. YOUR PRAYERS NEVER GO WASTED.

 YOUR PRAYERS NEVER GO WASTED.

It was 17 months ago (March 2023) when I left my first job without any plan B in mind. I just wanted to have a personal break as I was mentally and emotionally struggling.

The first few unemployed weeks were manageable. I enjoyed spending good time with my family and friends. A month after I resigned, I started to look for jobs and send out applications to many companies in different industries. I actually don’t have any preferred position or company, but there are some non-negotiable criteria I am specifically mentioning to the Lord in my prayers. I was praying for a job that has:

* no weekend work

* no PH holidays work

* morning or mid shift

* remote or hybrid setup

* good salary

Honestly, to find a job that meets my preference is hard. Maybe from a logical point of view, wala kasi most of remote jobs normally follow night shift which doesn’t work for me. Kung morning shift naman, there are many available opportunities but it will require me to go back to Manila which I refuse. But even if my preference sounds impossible to me as well, I am convinced that the Lord will make it happen. I also don’t know how, I just know He can.

Since I already had a work experience of 3 years, I thought that looking for a job would be a walk in the park. But, I was wrong. Never have I imagined that I would cry a lot and get frustrated numerous times.

Everyday for 8 months, I would kneel to the Lord saying the same specific prayers. Did I get tired? Yes. Had doubts? Of course. Lose hope? Definitely. These are normal human feelings I felt along the way but thank God, His grace is more than enough to sustain me through those rough, hard and uncertain days.

In the midst of all the tiredness, doubt and hopelessness — I just kept praying. Even if my situation back then doesn’t convince me that He is able, I kept praying. Even when all I have been receiving were rejection emails saying I am not qualified enough to get hired, I kept praying. Even when I was beginning to lose sight of the dreams God has put in me, I kept praying. Even when everything around me seems like pulling me away from what I was praying for, I kept praying. Even when God seems silent and I cannot see any hope that my prayers were getting answered, I kept praying. Even when my savings have run out and my monthly bills were piling up, I kept praying. Even when my heart is in total pain, I kept praying.

I kept praying because I know the One I am praying to. I know that my God is a way-maker, a miracle-worker and a promise-keeper. I know that He will not just provide, He will surely go beyond my expectations. I clearly know that in Him, nothing is too hard nor impossible.

10 months after, January 2024, God didn’t fail me. I got a job exactly as how I described and prayed it to the Lord — hybrid, no weekend work, midshift, good compensation and follows PH holidays. Suddenly, the tears that used to fall because of pain and rejection turned to tears of joy and gratitude. The Lord’s blessing was just so beautiful that it outweighed all the bad days. All I ever saw was His faithfulness and sustaining grace. I was completely amazed of how He orchestrated every thing until the day of the fulfillment of His promise.

Am I good? Definitely not. Worthy? No. It was all because of the Lord’s favor and grace that I am able to share this beautiful testimony with you.

So to you, whatever prayer request God has put in your heart, keep praying for it. Di ko alam kung gaano mo na katagal ipinapanalangin ang mga dalangin mo but the only thing I am certain of is hindi nawawalan ng kabuluhan ang mga pagluhod mo. Hindi nawawalan ng kapangyarihan ang pananalangin mo. Be specific on your prayers and be encouraged in the truth that we have a prayer answering God!

He is always on time, never too early and never too late. Don’t get tired to approach the throne of grace because it is where the miraculous things begin to happen.

To Jesus be the highest glory!

“HINDI NIYO PALA KAYA, BAKIT NAG-TEACHER? KAKA-VIDEO NIYO YAN PANG-REELS AT TIKTOK🤡” - Tito Mars

“I challenge you to make a content and go teach straight for 6 hours without break for a day! Sa 6 hours na iyan dapat ay may 8 sections kang tuturuan with 3-4 different subjects na ituturo. Dapat din sa klase mo may nakahanda kang powerpoint presentation in every subject na ituturo at test papers with tables of specification. At dapat matapos mong i check ang sandamakmak na test papers na yan in just a day para ma i-record mo sa class record. Tingnan natin kaya mo ba yan.

Stay positive

HAVE YOU NOTICED?..A *bronze* medalist is generally *more happy* than a *silver medalist* at the end of the game.

It’s not an incidental finding but a proven fact in many research studies after studying reactions of silver medalists vs bronze medalists!

Ideally, a silver medalist should be more happy than the bronze. But, the human mind doesn't work like mathematics.

This happens because of a phenomenon called the *counterfactual thinking*.

The silver medalist thinks, "oh I couldn't win the gold medal." the bronze medalist thinks, "at least I got a medal."

A silver medal is won after losing, but a bronze medal is won after winning.

This happens even in our life, we don't appreciate what we have but feel sad with what we don't have. Let's be grateful for our blessings, they far outweigh our problems if we start counting.

Life is after all full of choices, do always count your blessings to stay positive & motivated.

Driving

5 TIPS FOR DRIVING IN THE DARK AT NIGHT

1. Stay defensive.

When driving at night, it’s important to drive defensively around other vehicles and be aware surrounding objects.

Increase your safe distance between other cars.

Maintain an appropriate speed for conditions, whether that is the speed limit or under.

Watch for pedestrians, bicyclists, road workers and wildlife. Especially in Wisconsin, keep an eye out for deer and be aware what to do in case of a deer collision.

2. Adjust your internal lights.

Dim the interior lights in your car. If your internal dashboard lights are too bright, glancing from your bright dashboard to the dark road can be disorienting. Your dashboard should be readable but not distracting.

3. Use high beams when appropriate.

Always make sure your headlights are on after dusk and use high beams when appropriate to see further distances. Be conscious to turn your high beams off when another car is approaching or you are following a vehicle. Do not look directly into the headlights of oncoming vehicles. Instead, glance down to the right focusing along the white line to avoid visual impairment from the bright lights.

4. Reduce distractions.

Always avoid distractions while driving but especially at night. Distractions are tasks that require a driver to take his/her eyes off the road, hands off the steering wheel, and mind off of the road. When tasks require all three of those domains (visual, manual, cognitive) they are considered to be a triple threat to safety. Avoid unsafe driving habits such as speeding, texting, emailing, reaching in the backseat, adjusting the radio, eating and other distractions. Distracted driving reduces your reaction time leaving opportunity for an accident.

5. Schedule regular eye exams.

Getting an annual eye exam can be helpful to combat any potential vision issues. Dry eyes are a common problem which can cause discomfort concentrating driving at night. Remember to blink! If you struggle with distracting glares from lights at night, driving glasses may help. Talk with your optometrist for night driving eye care recommendations.

Make sure to regularly check your vehicles’ turn signals, headlights and brake lights for safe driving at all times of the day. Check your headlights for proper alignment, not too high or too low. If they need adjustments, ask your auto garage for assistance.

Story

Here are the proof that I didn't STEAL/WASTED his money to live a lavish life. It's just that I am deeply hurt for all the hurtful words that Carlos said.

Kung ako after sa pera mo Sana noon pa lang sinabi ko na sau na mag joint account tau but I never did that. This passbook of yours this was your passbook when you were in elementary, inupgrade lang from junior savings account to regular acct. all your winning money was deposited there even if you said that all the extra money left is for me ,after you bought the shoes that you really wanted.

As per the house in Cavite I ACQUIRED THE HOUSE IN 2016. You don't have enough money that time coz your monthly allowance from PSC was only 5k, after 2 years tumaas naging 8k and after a year naging 10k, assumed balance yung inavail namin, so I shelled out a big amount of money from my savings and from paluwagan, we were not the first owner. WE, your parents bought that for all of us. You knew how resourceful I am in life plus the fact that your father didnt stop from working so hard to provide for us and your grandfather Gil Yulo supported us for the longest time. 2019 ka lang nagkaroon ng MALAKING Pera because of that world championship and seagames 2019, and all that money went straight to your bank. I vividly remember you asked me once HOW MUCH YOUR MONEY was and I told you ITS 5M already, you were shocked, kasi ang Sabi mo AKALA KO ANG PERA KO NASA 1-2M LANG. We renovated the house and paid it in full in 2021-2022 using some of your money kasi gusto ko once you visited the house makapagpahinga ka ng maayos and alam ko hindi ka pwede sa mainit na panahon kasi may asthma ka that's why I bought an aircon for you. I fully furnished the house para kumportable ka/tau dahil alam mo naman kung ano ang itsura nung bahay nung nakuha namin.

As per sa Landbank atm mo Sabi mo madaming withdrawals it's because dyan ko kinuha ung Pinang full payment ng bahay at pinangpagawa, alam mo na pinagawa ang bahay dahil your dad sent a you videos of it every now and then.

Remember when you asked money from me kasi wala lang allowance sa japan I immediately sent you your 1 month allowance from psc 10k, and when I shelled out 300 thousand pesos from my own pocket because you will move out from coach mune's apartment and live near the gym/school. You said bayaran ko yan and I can withdraw it from your Landbank account.

The money that was deposited to the GAP, your shares that was also deposited to GAP and coach mune's share is from your Landbank account too.

When you said that youll buy your dad a Honda Motorbike, I paid it in cash, and when I bought my brother a motorbike too from my savings you asked me "sino nagbayad" I replied "me" Sabi mo bayaran ko yan mama".

I got you an insurance from bdo life and that's already fully paid before it's due.

I also got you a SUN LIFE for your future.

I also wanted to get you a health card para just in case na magkasakit ka wala ka nang problema kaso bago pa yan we had a misunderstanding.

The motorshop that we put up in Cavite, tinamaan lang ng road widening kaya nagsara. The accessories are still intact you can get it if you want. ni wala ngang sinahod ang Tito mo sa shop for a year kasi dun palang lumalakas ang shop tapos nangyari ang road widening.

Your father wants to sell the house para maisoli sayo ung perang sinasabi mong NINAKAW KO. But I told him that we will pay you na lang kasi honestly wala na kaming makikitang bahay na may M.A na 5k but if you want you can get the house, just give back the money that I paid to the first owner.

I remember excited si eldrew to be with you in the training camp but you chose the girl to stay over, rather than your own brother and your team mate Miguel and I also remember Miguel’s mom telling me that they are still outside around 1am in the morning no idea where to go and sleep. Alam mong Hindi ka namin nakakausap. Sabi mo tinanggap mo sila. Do you think Miguel’s mom and I will allow you to sleep in the same room with that girl? Room that the JOC paid for and PSC reimbursed at the end of the year?

As a mother you can't blame me for worrying about you, about your future kasi ito ung pangarap mo noon pa na sinuportahan namin ng buong buo.

Sana in time, mawala yung sakit na nararamdaman ko. Walang ina na di nagmamahal sa anak. Pero nasasaktan din ang ina.

Sad bigas.

Diaper,Gatas,Wipes at Vitamins?

I’m so proud of you napaka independent mo nakaya mo mapag tapos ng college habang nag wowork.

Ang Aking Ama.

My dad used to push aside bills and papers on the kitchen table and invite people into our home for a glass of iced tea and conversation.

It didn’t matter what our farmhouse looked like—everyone was welcome.

I think our world has lost that art of hospitality.

I know I have.

For many years, I worried about the look of my home. I didn’t let people in unless the kitchen was picked up and the floors were clean, and (spoiler alert) that rarely happened, which meant I rarely let people in.

But slowly, I’m lifting barriers and letting go of unrealistic expectations.

Especially this week.

We just moved out of our home.

Turns out, five people have a lot of stuff to move.

I’m mentally and physically exhausted.

But when our next-door neighbor stopped by with warm zucchini muffins and a quick conversation, I let her in without hesitation. When she gave me a hug and said she would miss us, I broke down and cried.

When we realized our storage unit had no more space to hold our belongings, we called a friend to ask if we could put a few boxes and random things in his shed.

He offered his basement instead.

When I knew I couldn’t move one more box, we called another friend who helped pick up the last few heavy items.

We could do it alone, sure. But it’s so much better when we open our doors to others.

And maybe that’s what we’re missing today.

There’s something special about real, raw, messy connections. That’s where the magic happens, I think. When we come together and share our hard stuff, we’re building more than connection; we’re building community.

And I think we can all agree this world needs more community.

I didn’t know it then, but Dad did. Real connections are made around kitchen tables and through open doors.

Let them in, friends. No matter how messy it may be.

A Short History Behind the Name of Every Metro Manila City

A Short History Behind the Name of Every Metro Manila City

Metro Manila is home to 16 cities and over 13 million people. It’s the fifth most populous urban area in the world, and currently the center of the country’s culture, politics, and economy. But before it became a sprawling metropolis, Metro Manila once encompassed farmlands and small countryside villages back in its early beginnings. And the roots of the 16 cities, and one municipality, are still evident in the names they hold today

Caloocan

The name of the land-locked city is said to be derived from the Tagalog root word “lo-ok,", which means “bay,” in reference to the city's proximity to the bay. But many also believe that the name is a play on the word "kasuluk-sulokan" (or kaloob-looban), which means "innermost area." The name was Hispanicized to Caloocan, but some locals colloquially spell it as Kalookan.

Las Piñas

The current name is Spanish for “The Pineapples,” and the common belief is that farmers from Cavite and Batangas used the city as a trading spot for their pineapple products. However, records show that, for a time in the early 1800s, the city was called “Las Peñas,” which means “The Rocks.”

Makati

Contrary to popular belief, Makati’s name does not refer to being in a state of itchiness. It actually comes from “kumakati,” which is Tagalog for “ebbing tide.” The story goes, when Miguel Lopez de Legazpi asked a Tagalog what the name of the area was, the Tagalog, who couldn’t understand Spanish, pointed to Pasig River and said, “Makati, kumakati na.”

Malabon

The name of the city is believed to be a compressed version of “maraming labong,” referring to the abundance of bamboo shoots in the region prior to urbanization.

Mandaluyong

There are a lot of origin stories when it comes to Mandaluyong’s name. A romantic origin story says that the city was named by two forbidden lovers, Luyong and Manda, who ran away together and settled on the land now known as Mandaluyong. Another story claims that the city was named after the abundance of luyong trees. But a more probable story is that, when Spanish explorers asked the locals the name of the area, they said the place was “madaluyong,” which means “undulating or big waves from the sea,” referring to the rolling hills of the land.

Manila

The local pronunciation of Manila as “Maynila” hints at the city name’s origins. “May-nila” is translated to “where indigo is found,” referring to the plant species from which you can extract natural indigo dye. Nila is the Sanskrit word for indigo, hinting at the travel and exploration of Asians prior to colonization.

Marikina

There are a number of legends on Marikina’s origins, but historical documents of the city of Marikina show that the town was called Marikit-na in 1787. This falls in line with the old wives tale that goes as follows: When a Spanish Jesuit priest asked a Filipino laborer what the building they were constructing would be called, the Filipino didn’t understand what he was saying in Spanish, and simple described the building, “Marikit na po,” meaning “It’s beautiful.” A historian also once claimed that the city was named after Captain Berenguer de Marquina, a colonial official. Marquina also happens to be the ancestor of Jose W. Diokno and Chel Diokno.

Muntinlupa

Like many places in the Philippines, it’s said that the city was named after its topography, and Muntinlupa is said to refer to mountain land. One story claims that “munting lupa,” which means “small land,” was originally used to name the city.

Navotas

Navotas is derived from the Tagalog word “nabutas,” which refers to the natural shift in the area’s geography as the years went by. The city rests on an area with multiple river deltas, and one legend claims that the land was all connected at some point in time, until one day, when the strip of land between Manila and Navotas gave way to the sea, and water spilled out from the river to the ocean. So, the locals referred to the area as “nabutas.”

Parañaque

The accepted historical account is that the name of the city is an adapted version of the name “Palanyag,” which was once the name of the Parañaque River. But a more entertaining story recounts how a Filipino coachman was driving around Spaniards on a horse-drawn coach. When the Spaniards asked him to stop, saying “Para aqui, para aqui,” which meant “Stop there, stop there,” the Filipino couldn’t understand them and kept going, but the phrase stuck.

Pasay

Before it was renamed Pineda, the old name of Pasay, the city was said to be named after Dayang-dayang Pasay, a princess of the ancient kingdom of Namayan. A more romantic origin story claims that the city was named after the tragic love story of Paz and Jose. After the two were forbidden to be with each other, Paz died from loneliness, and Jose cried "Paz-ay!" at her funeral.

Pasig

A number of stories surround Pasig’s name’s origin story, but all revolve around water. The most convincing theory is that the city was named after “pasig,” which is a Sanskrit word for “waterway coming from one body of water to another,” referring to the Pasig River. One theory suggests that the city name came from the Sanskrit word “pasega,” which means sand, while another story suggests it came from the Tagalog word “mabagsik,” referring to the Pasig River’s strong “terrifying” current.

Pateros

The lone municipality in Metro Manila, Pateros is said to be named after its duck industry as "pateros" is Spanish for "duck-raisers." It could also be linked to the word "sapatero," or "shoemaker," which is another main industry of the area.

Quezon

It doesn’t take a genius to figure this one out. Quezon City was named after former president Manuel Quezon while he was in office in 1939. Quezon never signed the bill, but it passed into law after the efforts by the National Assembly of the Philippines. Quezon City’s Aurora Boulevard is also named after Quezon’s widow, Aurora Quezon. The couple also each have a province named after them.

San Juan

As its name suggests, the city is named after Saint John the Baptist, only the original full name of the city is San Juan del Monte, referring to the hilly topography of the area. There are number of locations in the Philippines dedicated to the saint in Laguna, Batangas, and Bulacan.

Taguig

Taguig is bordered by Laguna de Bay to its east, so it’s no surprise the origin of its name is connected to the farmer-fishermen in the area. They were called “mga taga-giik,” or “rice threshers” in Tagalog, but the Spanish couldn’t pronounce the Tagalog word. So the phrase was shortened to Taguig, which is what the city goes by now.

Valenzuela

Before it was called Valenzuela, the area was known as Polo and derived from the Tagalog word “pulo,” which means island. The landlocked city is surrounded by rivers, making it seem like it was an island. The city was eventually renamed to Valenzuela in honor of the Filipino doctor and revolutionary leader Pio Valenzuela y Alejandrino of the Katipunan society.

So, the locals referred to the area as “nabutas.”

Reminder

A REMINDER TO ALL PARENTS OUT THERE...

Never tell your children:

"Ako ang nag-paaral sayo"

"Ako ang bumuhay sayo"

"Sana pinabayaan nalng kita"

"Wala kayong utang na loob"

"Kapal ng mukha mo"

"Di ka magiging ganyan kung di dahil sa akin"

Your children did not ask you or the world that he/she wants to be born.

You did! From day 1 until they get old. Your children will always be your responsibility.

You know what's next when parents think like their children owe them so much?

They'll treat you as an investment. That one day, someone will reach their dreams for them.

Do not ever let your children set aside their dreams just to fulfill yours!!

Trust me, your children know who have been there since the beginning.

They will not forget you, not because they owe you something.

But good parents deserve all the good things in life.

 LIFE REFLECTION ✨✨

As I walk my journey, ang dami kong observation na nakita, mga lesson na natutunan.

Things that can break me and my faith, experiences that will teach me to hate people and never be kind again. And I know baka marami ang hindi magustuhan yun sasabihin ko but if you will allow me to be honest eto talaga yun mga nakita at natutuhan ko. Tutuo lahat ito...

1. Take care of yourself because no person will love you more than yourself. 💖

Wag mong hahanapin sa iba kahit sa partner mo, you will surely get hurt and disappointed. No other person will really care for you but yourself, that's your job and responsibility.

2. Everyone you meet has a motives and agenda (even yourself). 📣

Minsan hindi lng nila yun maamin, or hindi sila aware (maybe). Dont get me wrong dahil hindi nman lahat ng motives and agenda ay masama. But I'm not sure if ilan percentage ng tao sa mundo ang meron pure motives at kung kasama yun friend, kaclose at kilala mo dun.

Kung wala silang mapapala sayo, do you think they will stick to you? Think again... At kung meron nagstick sayo through your ups and down, regalo mo yan sa Diyos.

4. Just because you've been kind to people don't expect that you will receive the same kindness you've given. 🫠

5. Dont trust too much and dont love too much. 🙈

Wag masyadong mapagbigay, wag sobrang bait. Akala mo lng maganda yan but the reality is lahat ng too much ay hindi tama. Kung hindi ka naniniwala then you haven't met your lessons well.

Let go of everything you can't control, and learn Acceptance to lighten up your load.

For sure madami pa tayong maeexperience. Sana lng natuto na tayo at mas maging matalino. Tutuo talaga yun kasabihan na,

Most of our life lessons are best learned through pain. 💖💖
