You can pull a surprise by asking when you would start, it shows confidence.

"Given that I am a recent graduate, I am still familiarizing myself with industry-standard compensation. However, I have conducted thorough research on salaries for comparable roles in this region, and I understand that the typical range is between Ksh. 30,000 and Ksh. 40,000 per month. Last but not least, Delete these from your CV.

1. Marital status.

2. Your high school and primary details if you have attended college.

3. Your date of birth.

4. Your religion.

5. Your hobbies. Nobody is going to shortlist your CV because you love traveling. Unless it is a travel agent job. 

6. Inappropriate email addresses (e.g. Dramaqueen, CaroMsupa, crazygamer, PartyAnimal4Life not going to get you a job): Use professional email like "[Your Name]@ [Email Provider]".

7. Long paragraphs: Use bullet points to make it clearer (also, most recruiters don't have time to read through all your words).

8. Irrelevant work experience. Example you are applying for nutrition job and you indicate that you have been working as a sales executive of nivea.

9. Irrelevant Skills . Example Applying for an Accountant position but mentioning “Heavy Machinery Operation”.

10. Lastly remove your ID number.

Irrelevant stuff you include to make your CV long might in most cases work against you.

Quick CV fixes to save you from job rejections:

1. Replace your career objective or Bio with a strong professional summary .

7. DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION TO ASK THE PANEL?

This is usually the last question that the interview panel asks interviewees; if you fail to ask them questions, you will lose some marks, always have a question to ask no matter what. Ask them whether they have plans to expand their business, whether they support employees to further their studies and how they motivate employees. You can pull a surprise by asking when you would start, it shows confidence.

Here are some questions you can ask the interviewer at the end of your interview:

- What are the biggest challenges facing your team right now?

- What opportunities are there for professional development and growth in this role?

- What is the company culture like?

- What are your expectations for the first 90 days in this role?

- What are the next steps in the hiring process?

You can also ask more specific questions about the company's plans, products, or services. For example, you could ask:

- Do you have any plans to expand your business into new markets?

- Are there any new products or services in the pipeline?

- How do you measure success in this role?

Here is an example of how to ask the question "When would I start?" in a confident way:

"I am very excited about the opportunity to work at your company, and I am eager to learn more about the role. When would I start if I were offered the position?"

8. WHAT IS YOUR SALARY EXPECTATION?

The question is tricky because as a fresh graduate you don’t have a clue what to be paid; simply ask them what they pay others of your level, if they fail to give a satisfactory answer then give them a reasonable range. Ensure you do your research before you go for interview room because you must be asked this question.

"Given that I am a recent graduate, I am still familiarizing myself with industry-standard compensation. However, I have conducted thorough research on salaries for comparable roles in this region, and I understand that the typical range is between Ksh. 30,000 and Ksh. 40,000 per month. While I am flexible regarding my salary, I am keen to ensure that my compensation aligns fairly with my qualifications and the value I bring to the team."

Last but not least, Delete these from your CV.

1. Marital status.

2. Your high school and primary details if you have attended college.

3. Your date of birth.

4. Your religion.

5. Your hobbies. Nobody is going to shortlist your CV because you love traveling. Unless it is a travel agent job. 

6. Inappropriate email addresses (e.g.  Dramaqueen, CaroMsupa, crazygamer, PartyAnimal4Life not going to get you a job): Use professional email like "[Your Name]@ [Email Provider]".

7. Long paragraphs: Use bullet points to make it clearer (also, most recruiters don't have time to read through all your words).

8. Irrelevant work experience. Example you are applying for nutrition job and you indicate that you have been working as a sales executive of nivea.

9. Irrelevant Skills . Example Applying for an Accountant position but mentioning “Heavy Machinery Operation”.

10. Lastly remove your ID number.

Irrelevant stuff you include to make your CV long might in most cases work against you.

1. Replace your career objective or Bio with a strong professional summary .

2.  Ensure target role keywords demonstrated in your resume.

3. Start each sentence with a strong action verb.

4. Make your template/formatting consistent.

5. Optimal use of white space (Not too much).

6. Save resume with your name (Last_First_Resume).

7. Always submit your resume as a PDF (Especially if format is complex).

8. Showcase your achievements than listing duties.

9. Ensure your document is ATS friendly.

10. Make it clear, concise and free from errors.

1. Don’t work for money:

Rich don’t work for money. If you work for money, your mind will start thinking like an employee. If you start thinking differently like a rich man, you will see things differently. Rich works on their asset column, every dollar in their asset column is their hard-working employee.

2. Don’t be controlled by emotions:

Some people’s lives are always controlled by the two emotions of fear and greed. Fear keeps people in this trap of working hard, earning money, working hard, earning money, and hoping that it will reduce their fear. Secondly, most of us have the greed to get rich quickly. Yes, many people become rich overnight, but they have no financial education. So educate yourself and don’t be greedy or fearful.

3. Acquire assets:

Don’t buy liabilities on your way to financial freedom. People buy liabilities and think these are assets, but they are not. Many people buy luxuries first, like big cars, heavy bikes, or big houses to live in. But the rich buy assets and their assets buy luxuries. The rich buy houses and rent them, and they pay them for their Lamborghinis. The poor or middle class buy luxuries first, and the rich buy luxuries last.

4. Remember the KISS principle:

KISS stands for keeping it simple, and stupid. Don’t be too overloaded your mind when you are going to start your way to financial freedom. Things are simple and keep them simple. The simple thing to remember is assets put money in pocket and liabilities take money out of pocket. Always buy assets so they put money into your pocket.

5. Know the difference between assets and liabilities:

Assets are anything that puts money in your pocket, like stocks, bonds, real estate, mutual funds, rental properties, etc. Liabilities are anything that pulls money out of your pocket, like your house, your car, debt, etc. People think their home is their biggest asset, but it is not. A house is an asset when it generates money like when you rent a house, it generates money, and when your life in that house becomes a liability.

6. Don’t be a financial illiterate:

A person can be highly educated and become successful in their profession, but financially illiterate. Financial education is very important for any individual. Our schools and colleges did not teach us financial education. Many financial problems arise as a result of a lack of financial education. Start learning financial education and I suggest you read the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad".

7. Increase your Wealth:

Wealth is defined as a person's ability to survive for a certain number of days in the future, or how long they could survive if they stopped working today. Consider your wealth and whether you would survive if you stopped working today for a year.

8. Mind your own business:

If you have a job, keep your job and start a part-time business and work it. Use the time that you spend on your iPhone, parties, or any other activity, to build your business. Never leave your job until you build your own business. Don’t struggle all of your life for someone else. Start your own business and grow your business.

9. Train your mind:

Your biggest asset is your mind. Many individuals watch opportunities with their eyes, but if you train your mind, you can see opportunities with your mind. If you train your mind well, it can create enormous wealth.

10. Learn technical skills:

Your financial IQ will be raised by learning these four technical skills:

Accounting is defined as the ability to read numbers. If you want to build an empire, then this is an essential skill. By learning this skill, you will be able to understand the strength and weaknesses of a business.

Investing: It is the science of making money.

Understanding markets: It is the science of supply and demand.

The Law: A person who has knowledge of the law of tax advantages and corporations can get rich faster than others.

11. Find opportunities that everyone else missed:

"Great opportunities are not seen with your eyes. They are seen with your mind. "

You can see many more opportunities with your mind than many people miss with their eyes. It is not rocket science, you just need to train your mind.

12. Learn to manage risk:

Investment is not risky, not knowing the investment is risky. If you want to reduce the risk, then increase your knowledge. This knowledge will not come by going to college, it will come by reading books or sitting with people who know the investment.

Testing battery using multimeter.

 Testing the battery and alternator with a multimeter is a simple procedure that allows you to determine whether both components are working properly. Here's how to perform both tests.

1. **How to test the drums:*

To test your vehicle's battery, follow these steps:

1. **Adjusts the Multimeter:*

- Place the multimeter in the DC voltage measurement function, selecting a range of 20V if it is a manual multimeter.

2. **Connect the multimeter wires:*

- Connect the red multimeter cable to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.

- Connect the black cable to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.

3. **Read the voltage on the screen:*

- With the motor off, a fully charged battery should show a voltage between **12.6V and 12.8V**.

- If the voltage is between **12.4V and 12.6V**, the battery is partially charged, and if it is less than **12.4V**, the batteries may be discharged or deteriorated.

4. **Test Under Loading:*

- With the multimeter still connected, it turns on the lights, the radio and other accessories to charge the battery.

- Voltage should not fall below **12V**. If it falls significantly, it is possible that the battery is defective.

2. **How to Test the Alternator:*

To check if the alternator is charging correctly, follow these steps:

1. **Starts the engine:*

- Get the engine running.

2. **Connect the multimeter wires:*

- With the engine running, re-connect the red cable to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black cable to the negative terminal (-).

3. **Measures Voltage:*

- With the motor slow motion, the voltage should be between **13.8V and 14.8V**. This indicates that the alternator is charging the battery correctly.

- If the voltage is less than **13.8V**, the alternator may not be providing enough charge, which could indicate a problem.

- If the voltage is higher than **14.8V**, the alternator could be overloading the battery, which is also a problem.

4. **Test Under Loading:*

- Turn on the headlights, air conditioning, and other electrical accessories to simulate a higher charge in the system.

- Voltage should remain stable between **13.8V and 14.8V**. If it drops below **13.8V** or rises above **14.8V**, the alternator could be failing.

I Did Not Vote.

I did not vote for VP Leni Robredo. In fact, I was a Duterte-Cayetano supporter. I would like to believe that I was objective since I called out our president when he made sexist jokes and supported the burial of Marcos. But because I disliked Mar, PNoy and the Liberal Party so much, I automatically disliked Leni and everything she represented, especially the people she affiliated with. This was in 2016.

In 2018, I was already feeling so uncomfortable with having to “defend” our president and have gotten so sick of listening to his ramblings. I had the opportunity to be a researcher for our debate team and our topic was about the West Philippine Sea dispute. This was my turning point. Our own president could not even protect our sovereignty and portrayed such a defeatist attitude. I was disappointed not only in him, but also in myself. Because I banked so much on his promises and he put my hopes up just to crush it. It was a gradual transition, but his stand on the WPS dispute was the last straw for me.

I know it took 2 years, but it’s better than being an avid cult fan until today. The twitter trend is so apt: Kung di ka pa galit, bakit?

Moving forward to January 2020, we were all clamoring for a plan and a strategy to prevent covid from coming into our country, but our calls were unheeded. Until, of course, March 2020 happened. What was preventable and could have been mitigated became a nightmare of outrageous proportions. Duque and our president said we were ready and prepared for COVID but, of course, we were far from prepared. Doctors and healthcare workers were not equipped to battle this because we did not have enough PPEs.

Living in Iligan City, I felt that we would definitely be the last ones they would help because NCR was the hotspot of the virus. My brother-in-law was the only infectious disease specialist in our city and I was so afraid for him. I knew I had to do something. ANYTHING! I tried to contact suppliers in the Philippines, in China, and in the US for PPEs. I also coordinated with other groups and our college for donations. We could not leave our health workers to die just because of our inept and unprepared government. We had to do our part.

I was scrolling through Facebook and I saw all these contact numbers we can reach out to, so I contacted as many as possible. Until I contacted someone who knew Leni Robredo’s daughter. All I did was give my brother-in-law’s name, the hospital name, and the address. It was as simple as that. That was the ONLY time I felt like a high-ranking official, WHO I DID NOT PERSONALLY KNOW and did not have any CONNECTIONS to, would actually LISTEN to an ordinary person like me. Honestly, that floored me. Kaya naman pala? Then I started following Leni and saw how she keeps updating people through her social media accounts. The transparency, the willingness to reach out to those who would normally be ignored unless you know someone in power, and the genuineness. All that hard work, given her very LIMITED budget and powers. KAYA NAMAN PALA kahit walang emergency powers. All these feelings I felt for what she did, I was not able to feel because I was “loyal” to a person, to a party, and to a change I thought could be brought about by one person. We can be so blinded by the good that others do just because we want one person to do so well, even when they keep disappointing you. Hiwalayan mo na.

But just because VP Leni did this, I will not hesitate to call her out if need be. This is only proof that we need to be loyal to our country and our countrymen, and not to people in power. The things that Leni (and may I mention Vico Sotto) is doing are things that SHOULD be expected of a public servant. But because we have gotten so used to mediocrity, we accept the LEAST that our government is doing when they can do so much more. 

Let’s hold our leaders accountable because the policies they push for TODAY will greatly affect our children’s future.

 In Sara Duterte’s latest update, the impeached vice president has supposedly told her father, “You could end up like Ninoy Aquino if you return to the Philippines.” To which, her father supposedly responded, “So be it.”

It’s too much to expect from Sara to know her history because she is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Neither is she known to be well-read given that her only known authorship of anything is a book for kids designed on Canva. Same goes with Duterte supporters who would lap this up rabidly without thinking.

It’s outrigtht sacrilegious to compare Ninoy with Digong. Like I want to throw up just thinking about it. But let’s end this stupidity in its infancy.

Ninoy was a politicial prisoner of Marcos. He was the most brilliant and prominent opposition figure when Martial Law was declared. Ninoy and Marcos where frat brothers in U.P. that’s why Marcos was well aware just how brilliant and charismatic Ninoy was as an opposition leader. 

Ninoy suffered physical and mental torture at the hands of the dictatorship and was actually sentenced to death by a military kangaroo court on made-up charges.

He faced the court, didn’t escape to seek asylum, and actually went on hunger strike to protest his imprisonment where he almost died.

Marcos, not wanting to make a martyr out of him, agreed to send him to the U.S. as it was the best option to get rid of Ninoy without having to execute him via firing squad.

Unlike Ninoy who was jailed for political reasons, Former President Duterte is in prison facing chargers of crimes against humanity. 

Unlike the military court that tried Ninoy, the ICC is not military in nature and certainly not a kangaroo court. It’s a legitimate court formed under the Rome Statute and ratified by 125-member states.

Unlike Ninoy who was subjected to emotional and mental suffering to take out the fight in him, Duterte is not being subjected to injustice as he is being given a fair trial at the highest order possible. The charges he is facing are not made up. It is a result of 8 years of investigation and evidence gathering.

Unlike Ninoy who was held in detention in a military camp in Laur in Nueva Ecija in a small cell often in only his undies and sando, Duterte is not being mentally and physically maltreated. He is being given the best care health-wise and nutrition-wise in a First World country in a cell that could pass off as a decent European-standard three or four-star AirBnB.

Unlike Ninoy who was rarely allowed visits by his family, Duterte enjoys once a week visits from Sara and his defense team to make sure he his being cared for.

Unlike Ninoy who almost died and physically damaged his heart due to his hunger strike, Duterte is reportedly even complaining about the Dutch food being served to him that’s why according to Sara, the ICC has prepared rice perfectly cooked and suited to Filipino tastes.

So let’s be clear. Duterte is never going to be a martyr. He will have to face the charges of crimes against humanity. 

Unlike Ninoy who went home to help restore freedom and democracy while facing great danger to his life, Duterte would either come home an innocent and vindicated man raring to seek vengeance against the Marcoses backed by rabid and brainwashed DDS morons, or he will spend the rest his life in prison as a criminal and enemy of humanity who has been tried fair and square.

Even if Duterte lives several lifetimes, he will never measure up to Ninoy Aquino. Not in this universe or in any other universe. Stop this idiocy.

✅ Anong nangyari sa Alitagtag drug haul na biggest daw pero wala ni isang nanagot? Nasaan ang drugs? Nasaan ang driver? Nasan ang hearing? 

✅ Saan ang breakdown of expenses ng ayuda na 500 billion pesos at sino sino nakatanggap? Meaning Romualdez used it like campaign money without accountability. Kaya umubos ni Martin ng 100 million pesos upwards per day para ipamudmod. 10k a person daw, pero usually kalahati lang natatanggap ng mga tao. Sa sistema nyang bulok, tinuruan at enable nya ang mga maliliit na trabahador ng gobyerno maging corrupt at gahaman. Training people as low level as coordinators and Barangay captains be like him. If we are not careful, MARTIN ROMUALDEZ will enable a new generation of politicians to be exactly like him.

Pero bakit nauna mag taas ng fees ang NAIA bago mag pakita ng pagbabago? Shouldn’t the billionaires pay for whatever changes they want to institute first and then we can pay right after? Isn’t this the point of getting private investors? Eh di sana nag taas na lang ng fees ang government kung pareho lang. 

✅Bakit ibinigay ang ₱100,000,000 kada araw na kita ng Malampaya sa kaibigang oligarko sa halip na mapunta sa gobyerno at sa taong bayan?? BAKIT??

✅ Bakit binawi sa IP community sa Boracay ang CLOA (certificate of land title) in favor of oligarchs na nabigay na sa kanila yon, with approval of the departments concerned?

So Hindi pwede ang POGO pero pwede yung mga run and owned by oligarchs na nakakasira ng kapwa Pilipino?

✅ Taxes namin ang budget ng congress. Bakit di kaya mag bigay ng resibo ang mga congressmen Saan ginagastos ang pera ng bansa?

✅ Nagbenta tayo ng 25 tonnes of gold just this year alone, the biggest we’ve sold. But we don’t see the revenues from the sale. Saan ginamit ng gobyerno ang pera? Even PRRD never sold this much gold during Covid when it was a trend by many countries to sell gold to fund their countries response to COVID.

✅ Saan galing ang funds para ipa demolish ang dating Presidential residence sa Malacañang na perfectly okay and maganda pa, so they can rebuild a villa with all the luxurious creature comforts only months into their administration? Pera ng taumbayan? Anong budget sa pagpapagawa ng residence ng mga Marcos sa Malacañang? 

✅ Bakit di nyo kasuhan si Cathy Binag and Maharlika for saying BBM and Liza, along with their children, are drug users? Akala ko sabi ng First Lady she will go after anyone who includes her children.
