HOW TO BE DEBT-FREE
“The borrower is a servant to the lender.” – Proverbs 22:7
Think about it: When you borrow, you become a servant
to a bank, a business, a family member, a friend—whoever you
borrowed money from. The moment you asked money from
them, they put conditions on what you can do and what you
can’t do. This makes you a servant to them. We should never
be a servant to anyone. We are to be servants to God and Him
alone.
That’s why the Bible teaches us to avoid debt.
The Bible is very clear that you can get out of debt. But
God’s Word does not promise that you can get out of debt
quickly.
Remember, God is a God of the free. He wants you to be
free not just from sin, but also from financial debt.
God’s will for His people is to live without financial stress and worry.
