PTA.

Sen.

๐ŸฅฒAng korapsyon sa mas mataas na posisyon.
๐Ÿฅฒ
๐Ÿฅฒ
๐Ÿ˜ขDagdag benepisyo para sa mga guro.

In Singapore.

In Singapore, shopping malls have found a smart way to reuse what’s often wasted — condensation from their air-conditioning systems. Instead of letting this water simply drain away, the collected moisture is filtered and repurposed to irrigate plants inside and around the malls. This creates a continuous cycle where cooling the air also supports greenery, reducing the need for additional freshwater use.
The process works by capturing droplets that form on the cooling coils of air conditioners, which in Singapore’s humid climate can produce significant amounts of water daily. By channeling this into storage tanks, malls can maintain lush indoor gardens, rooftop plants, and even surrounding landscaping without drawing heavily on municipal supplies.

This practice not only conserves water but also promotes sustainability in a city known for its limited natural resources. It’s a small but impactful step that shows how urban spaces can integrate nature-friendly ideas into everyday operations, making air-conditioning — often seen as an energy and water drain — part of a greener solution.

Airbus A350

After 36 years in the cockpit, I was just one year from retirement when my airline told me I’d be training on the Airbus A350 — the most advanced airliner in service. I’d spent decades on the Boeing 767. The Airbus was a different language entirely, and at 64, I’d never flown one.

The whispers came quickly: “Even younger pilots struggle.” “At your age, it’s too much.” Some even said I wouldn’t make it through.

The training was a mountain — 7,000 pages of manuals, weeks in simulators, relentless exams. It was the hardest program of my career. And I passed with ease. Not because it was easy, but because my mind was every bit as capable as it had been 30 years earlier.

That experience taught me this: age is not an expiration date for learning, adapting, or excelling. We don’t all run on the same clock, and capability doesn’t vanish just because the candles on the cake increase.

Don’t count yourself — or anyone else — out too soon. Sometimes, the final stretch of your runway is where you prove you were flying at your best all along.

Nokia: Elop

In his final speech as Nokia’s CEO, Stephen Elop famously said, “We didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost.” This statement became a symbol of how even established giants can fall if they fail to adapt to changing times.

Nokia, once the world leader in mobile phones, dominated the global market with durable devices and unmatched brand loyalty. However, the rapid rise of smartphones changed the game. The company underestimated the shift from keypad-based phones to touchscreen devices and failed to embrace modern operating systems like Android. Instead, Nokia chose to partner with Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform, which never gained enough popularity to compete with Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.

Another major factor was the slow pace of innovation. While competitors like Apple and Samsung were introducing advanced features, sleek designs, and strong app ecosystems, Nokia was still focused on hardware durability and basic phone functions. This created a gap between consumer expectations and Nokia’s offerings.

Additionally, the company’s internal decision-making was slow and bureaucratic, making it hard to respond quickly to market trends. By the time Nokia tried to catch up, it had already lost significant market share, and its brand image had faded.
Nokia’s fall is now a classic business lesson success today doesn’t guarantee success tomorrow. Adapting quickly, embracing innovation, and understanding consumer needs are essential for survival in a fast-changing industry.

KLEPTOPIROSIS

๐Ÿงฌ KLEPTOPIROSIS: When Corruption Becomes a Public Health Crisis

By Dr. Tony Leachon – Independent Health Reform Advocate

As leptospirosis cases surge—over 3,037 nationwide, with hundreds of lives lost—we must speak not only with data, but with deep empathy. Behind every statistic is a grieving family, a breadwinner lost, a child orphaned. And behind every flooded street is a system that failed them.

This is not just a bacterial outbreak. It is a betrayal.

I call it KLEPTOPIROSIS—a disease born not of nature, but of negligence. A public health emergency manufactured by corruption in flood control programs, where greed becomes the true contagion.

๐Ÿงฑ The Anatomy of Kleptopirosis

• ₱1 trillion in flood control funds may have vanished into ghost projects

• Drainage systems clogged, esteros erased, urban planning abandoned

• Hospitals like NKTI and San Lazaro overwhelmed, converting gymnasiums into emergency wards

• Patients arriving in severe condition, many too late for life-saving treatment

And yet, in this chaos, our healthcare workers rise.

Doctors, nurses, and public health officers—underpaid, overworked, and emotionally drained—continue to serve with compassion and courage. Their heroism deserves not just applause, but structural support.

But let’s be clear: this is not enough.

⚠️ Leptospirosis Is Preventable. Kleptopirosis Is Manufactured.

Every death is a receipt of corruption.

Every dialysis session is a tax on the poor.

Every untreated wound is a wound to our democracy.

We must now confront the real culprits—not just the bacteria, but the lawmakers and officials who allowed this rot to fester. Those who padded budgets with pork, who signed off on ghost projects, who turned flood control into a cash cow while our people drowned.

To them, we say:

Mahiya naman kayo.

Be ashamed—not just of the floods, but of the futures you’ve stolen.

✊ From Outrage to Action

We demand:

• A full audit of flood control spending, with names and consequences

• Transparency in hospital reporting and disease surveillance

• A climate accountability bill with teeth—not headlines

• Urgent deployment of mobile clinics and prophylaxis in flood-prone areas

Let this be our rallying cry:

Let’s name the disease.

Let’s fight the cause.

Let’s cure the country.

How to bypass ang thermal fuse.
1. Hanapin ang common wire. Use sanwa analog multimeter.
2. Then cut it.
 3. Testing turn on.

Open letter.

An open letter to Sec Vince Dizon

This is not meant to embarass, rather Im hoping this will help you convince Congress to increase your maintenance budget.

Heto po ang ilan sa aking observations!

Nag-kaubusan daw.

2. Sa limang ticket vending machines 3 ang out of order at 2 naman ang naka closed mode. Anyare?

Gumagalang at nagpapasalamat,

Dati mong kasamahan sa paglilingkod bayan!

Orthopedic doctor to all senior.

*A Letter from an Orthopedic Doctor to All Senior Citizens (Aged 50-100 and Above)*

I no longer recommend bone density tests because senior citizens are bound to experience osteoporosis. As age increases, osteoporosis inevitably worsens, and the risk of fractures naturally rises.

Here’s a formula:

Risk of fractures = External impact force / Bone density

Seniors are more prone to fractures because the denominator (bone density) decreases, thus increasing the risk.

The most critical step for seniors to prevent fractures is to do everything possible to avoid accidental injuries.

*How to Reduce Accidental Injuries?*

I have summarized it into seven secret words:

“Be careful, be cautious, be vigilant!”

*Specific precautions include:-*

 1. *Never stand on chairs or stools to reach for something* , even low stools.

 2. *Avoid going out on rainy days if possible* .

 3. *Be cautious while bathing or using the restroom* to prevent slips.

 4. *For women especially:* Avoid wearing undergarments in the bathroom by leaning against walls or other objects. This is a leading cause of slips and hip fractures. After bathing, go to your room, sit comfortably on a chair or bed, and then wear your undergarments.

 5. *When using the restroom* , ensure the floor is dry and not slippery. Use a seated toilet and install handrails to support yourself when getting up. Use a bath stool if showering while seated.

 6. *Clear the floor of clutter before bedtime* and be extra careful when the floor is wet.

 7. *If waking up in the middle of the night* , sit on the bed for 3–4 minutes before standing up, turn on the light first, and then get up.

 8. *Do not lock the bathroom door from the inside* , especially at night or even during the day. If possible, install an emergency bell in the bathroom to call for help if needed.

 9. *Always sit on a chair or bed to wear pants* , etc.

 10. *If you fall,* use your hands to support yourself. It is better to suffer a wrist or forearm fracture than to break the neck of the femur at the hip joint.

 11. *Exercise regularly,* at least walking as much as you can.

 12. *For women* , maintaining body weight within permissible limits is critical. Diet control is key. Avoid eating leftovers. Instead, give them to stray animals. Keeping your weight in check should always be a priority. “It’s better to stop eating when half full than to eat until completely full.”

 13. To improve bone mass, I recommend *dietary supplements* like *dairy products, soy-based foods, and high-calcium fruits like bananas*, rather than medical supplements.

 14. *Spend time outdoors* to expose yourself to sunlight (under UV rays), which converts cholesterol in the skin to Vitamin D. This promotes calcium absorption and slows down osteoporosis.

Pay close attention to keeping bathroom floors slip-resistant. Use handrails when climbing stairs, and avoid falling. Take care of yourself.

*Therefore, seniors must focus on anti-slip and anti-fall measures* .

A single fall can cost ten years of life, as all bones and muscles may get damaged. So, be cautious.

*Avoid standing for long periods.*

This message might seem lengthy, but it is worth reading, especially for seniors and caregivers of senior citizens.

How to Cultivate an Endless Supply of Ginger at Home: A Step-by-Step Guide

Growing your own ginger at home is a fulfilling and practical way to enjoy fresh, aromatic rhizomes year-round. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you get started.

1. Picking the Perfect Ginger Root

Look for a ginger rhizome that is firm and plump with noticeable growth buds or "eyes."

Avoid selecting roots that appear shriveled, moldy, or overly dry.

2. Preparing the Ginger for Planting

Begin by soaking the rhizome in lukewarm water overnight to rehydrate it.

Slice the rhizome into sections, ensuring each piece has one or two viable eyes.

3. Selecting the Right Container

Choose a shallow, wide container with proper drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

Fill the container with a well-aerated potting mix enriched with organic material.

4. Planting and Initial Watering

Place the rhizome pieces just beneath the soil surface, ensuring the eyes are facing upward.

After planting, water the soil thoroughly, keeping it moist but not saturated.

5. Creating the Ideal Environment

Ginger thrives in temperatures between 75°F and 85°F (24°C to 29°C) with high humidity levels.

To maintain optimal humidity, use a humidity tray or mist the plant regularly.

6. Watering and Feeding the Plant

Keep the soil evenly moist by watering regularly, avoiding extremes of dryness or sogginess.

During the active growing season, fertilize every 2-4 weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer to encourage robust growth.

7. Promoting Healthy Growth and Blooms

Ensure the plant gets plenty of indirect sunlight, warmth, and a consistent level of humidity.

Handle the plant gently and avoid unnecessary disturbances to its roots and leaves.

8. Harvesting Your Homegrown Ginger

Your ginger will be ready for harvest after 8-10 months. Simply dig up sections of the rhizome as needed.

Store unused portions of harvested ginger in a cool, dry location to preserve its freshness.

Conclusion

Growing ginger at home is a simple and sustainable way to enjoy a continuous supply of fresh rhizomes. By following these straightforward steps, you can create an endless cycle of growth and harvest, along with the added bonus of potential blooms. Transform your home into a haven for this versatile and aromatic plant, and savor the satisfaction of homegrown ginger for years to come.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION ASSOCIATION (PhilConsa)

On the Supreme Court Ruling in G.R. No. 278353

“Sara Z. Duterte vs. House of Representatives, et al.”

July 30, 2025

The Philippine Constitution Association (PhilConsa) expresses its serious concern over the Supreme Court’s ruling in G.R. No. 278353, which nullified the impeachment proceedings initiated by the House of Representatives against Vice President Sara Z. Duterte. With due respect to the Honorable Court, we believe this decision overreaches constitutional boundaries, disrupts the separation of powers, and weakens Congress’ exclusive authority to hold impeachable officers accountable.

The Facts Cannot Be Ignored

Between December 2024 and February 2025, four impeachment complaints were filed against Vice President Duterte. The first three complaints, though officially docketed, were never pursued. They were neither found sufficient in form and substance nor referred for committee hearings. On February 5, 2025, a fourth complaint—this time endorsed by 215 members of the House, more than the required one-third—was transmitted as Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, in full accordance with the Constitution.

Yet on July 25, 2025, the Supreme Court ruled that the fourth complaint was barred under the one-year rule in Article XI, Section 3(5) of the Constitution, on the theory that the filing of earlier complaints—even if not acted upon—already “initiated” the impeachment process.

This Interpretation Is Constitutionally Flawed

PhilConsa respectfully but firmly disagrees with this interpretation. The one-year bar rule was designed to prevent harassment through repeated impeachment proceedings—not to protect impeachable officers from ever facing trial by allowing them to take cover behind mere filings. As the Court itself held in Francisco v. House of Representatives, impeachment is only deemed initiated after the complaint is found sufficient in form and substance and referred to the Committee on Justice. The earlier complaints never reached that stage. To treat them as having “initiated” proceedings defies both logic and constitutional intent.

This ruling invites dangerous abuse. It opens the door for impeachable officials—or their allies—to deliberately file weak or premature complaints to “consume” the one-year window and block any real effort at accountability. This is not a safeguard against harassment—it is a blueprint for evasion.

Judicial Restraint vs. Judicial Activism

This case called for judicial restraint, not judicial activism. The Constitution gave the House of Representatives the sole power to initiate impeachment and the Senate the sole power to try and decide it. These are textual, exclusive powers, and the Judiciary’s role in such matters should be limited to clear, grave abuses that nullify constitutional norms.

Instead, the Court stepped into the heart of a political process already underway—substituting its own judgment for that of a constitutional majority of the House. It interpreted the one-year bar so broadly that it now disables the very mechanism of impeachment in all but the rarest cases.

This ruling, though perhaps well-intentioned, is a clear instance of judicial activism. It turns the Judiciary from a neutral guardian of the Constitution into an arbiter of congressional timing and internal processes—matters the Constitution never assigned to the courts.

Judicial activism, if unchecked, becomes judicial supremacy. And that supremacy can, over time, paralyze the political departments that the people themselves empowered.

Doctrine of Operative Fact

We also wish to underscore that even assuming, for the sake of argument, that the Supreme Court’s ruling on the one-year bar were to be upheld, the Doctrine of Operative Fact should have applied. This principle recognizes the legal effects of acts done in good faith under a law or process later declared unconstitutional, in order to avoid injustice and institutional disruption.

In this case, the House initiated the impeachment complaint with more than one-third support, the Senate convened as an Impeachment Court, and the Vice President was served with summons. She filed a formal Answer. All these were done in good faith, based on long-standing jurisprudence and the clear text of the Constitution.

To declare all those acts null and void—after the process had matured to the point of trial—is not only legally harsh, it is institutionally destabilizing. The doctrine exists precisely to prevent this outcome.

Due Process Is Not Incompatible with the Doctrine

Some may argue that applying the Doctrine of Operative Fact would violate the due process rights of the impeached official. PhilConsa respectfully disagrees.

The Doctrine of Operative Fact does not override due process. Rather, it assumes that the process leading up to the act in question was carried out in accordance with law and fairness. If there had been clear violations of due process—such as denying notice or the right to respond—then the impeachment could be questioned on that basis alone.

But that is not what happened here. The Vice President was served with process. She responded. She was given the opportunity to defend herself. Congress and the Senate acted within their constitutional powers. Due process was not violated; it was respected.

Thus, invoking the Doctrine of Operative Fact here is not a threat to due process—it is a defense of institutional integrity. It preserves the lawful actions of Congress and the Senate made in good faith and under the presumption of regularity.

A Call for Constitutional Fidelity

PhilConsa thus makes the following respectful but resolute appeal:

 • We call on the Supreme Court to revisit its decision, and to interpret the one-year bar rule consistently with its own prior rulings and the original intent of the framers;

 • We urge the Senate, as the Impeachment Court, to assert its institutional mandate and proceed with the impeachment trial as constitutionally required;

 • And we remind all constitutional actors—legislators, jurists, and public officials alike—that accountability must not be undermined by technicality or judicial overreach.

We defend the rule of law, not merely through doctrine, but through balance—by respecting the limits of each branch, and by remembering that the Constitution demands action, not evasion.

Let no court, no officer, and no institution stand in the way of constitutional duty. Impeachment is not harassment. It is accountability. And accountability is the cornerstone of the Republic.

Slab

Permanent Repair

1. Chipping and Cleaning

The Myth of pure authorship.

 The Myth of Pure Authorship

Ang dami kong ideas.

As in, sobra.

Wala. Nawala lahat. Para akong nagka-amnesia.

That’s when I realized:

Hindi pala ako writer.

Creator ako. Visionary. Ideator.

Yung utak ko, punong-puno ng kwento. Pero yung kamay ko, tamad magsulat. O baka takot lang talaga.

Then dumating si AI.

At hindi ko na kailangang magpanggap.

"The Myth of Pure Authorship"

Paano yung may speech writer?

Paano yung may ghost writer?

Same with me.

I didn’t use AI to replace my brain.

I used it para tulungan akong mailabas ang laman ng utak ko.

Real Talk

Ako?

May AI co-writer.

Not all greatness is loud.

Not all greatness is loud.

Sometimes, the quiet ones leave the deepest mark. ๐Ÿซถ

And the strongest move… is knowing when to take the shot — and when to let others shine.

๐ŸŽฑ Just before turning 70, Efren Reyes finally said what he never needed to shout:

“I’ll be 70 next March. I never chased cameras. Never needed bodyguards. Never stopped calling it ‘just a game.’”

I was never the loud one in the room. I didn’t wear gold chains or demand an entourage.

I just let the cue speak for me. And when it did, people listened.

I grew up in Angeles, playing pool in dusty halls with cracked balls and cigarette smoke in the air. We didn’t have sponsors — we had instincts. I learned to aim not just with my eyes, but with my gut.

I remember sleeping under pool tables as a kid, dreaming not of trophies… but of meals. We hustled, because we had to. I was never promised greatness. I just kept showing up.

At 30, I became “The Magician.” They called me that because I made shots no one saw coming. But to me, they weren’t magic. They were just possibilities others hadn’t looked for yet.

At 40, I beat the best in the world. Americans, Brits, anyone with swagger. I smiled. Shook hands. Then went home to eat with my family.

At 50, I started losing more. Reflexes slowed. Eyes got tired. But the love for the game? Still sharp. I’d show up at bar tournaments where half the crowd didn’t know they were playing with a legend.

At 60, I stopped playing to win. I played to teach. I played to remind the next generation:

“You don’t need noise to prove you’re great.

Let your cue do the talking.”

Now, nearly 70, I spend my days watching the sun rise slow over rice fields. I teach kids to line up shots, and sometimes, I let them win. I tell stories — the quiet kind — over coffee and warm pan de sal.

If I could tell you one thing, it’s this:

A humble life is not a small one.

Not everyone needs to dominate. Some of us are here to outlast. To endure.

To watch. To teach. To take the shot when it feels right — and walk away smiling, win or lose.

There’s dignity in silence. There’s wisdom in restraint.

And sometimes, the strongest hand on the table… is the one that knows when to let go.

With calm and chalk-stained fingers,

— Efren “Bata” Reyes

Steering wheel.

THE STEERING TROUBLESHOOTING

As a driver's primary means of controlling their vehicle, the importance of a properly functioning steering wheel cannot be understated.
If you're experiencing issues with your steering, like being harder to turn, pulling to one side, or making odd noises, you'll want to address it before it results in further damage or causes an accident. Problems often stem from within the steering or suspension systems, usually somewhere between the steering wheel and the wheels.
Depending on the cause, you may need to change the power steering fluid, replace the steering belt, or get an alignment, for example. To ensure you're performing the right fix, you should first diagnose the cause before attempting any repairs.

The good news? I am here to help you with a detailed steering problem guide.

I'll first detail you on how a typical car steering system works, and then review some of the most common steering issues drivers face and what they might mean. Then, I'll look at some red flags that suggest it's time to replace your steering wheel and, finally, instructions on how to do so.

HOW A CAR'S STEERING SYSTEM WORKS:

Most modern cars use what's called a "rack and pinion" steering system, which often includes power steering for easier maneuverability. This system consists of a number of key components that all work together to deliver smooth and responsive steering.

At the heart of the system, you'll find the steering wheel. This acts as your input device, dictating the direction you want your vehicle to go. This input is transferred down the steering column, a shaft connecting the steering wheel to the rack and pinion or steering gear box.

The rack and pinion is central to the process. When you turn the steering wheel, the steering column rotates the pinion gear. This pinion gear meshes with the teeth on the steering rack, converting the rotational motion into linear motion.

For older vehicles with standard steering, the steering column inner shaft rotates the internal components in a steering gear box, which is converted to liner motion via a pitman arm that moves a center link and tie rods out to the wheel spindles.

This is where power steering comes into play. Power steering uses hydraulic or electric power to assist in steering the wheels, reducing the amount of effort needed from the driver to turn the wheels, especially when the vehicle is stationary or moving slowly.

The linear motion, assisted by power steering, is transferred through the tie rods to the steering arms, which are attached to the wheels. The entire process, from turning the steering wheel to the wheels responding, happens almost instantaneously, providing you with precise control over your vehicle's direction.

Without these interconnected components working together seamlessly, driving would feel less responsive and considerably more challenging.

THE MOST COMMON STEERING ISSUES

Now that you have a better understanding of how a modern steering system works, let’s look at some of the most common steering issues experienced by drivers:

๐Ÿ”ง: SQUEALING SOUNDS:

One of the first warning signs of steering trouble is hearing odd noises when turning the steering wheel, particularly squealing or whirring sounds. Odd sounds can be a sign that your power steering pump may be struggling or that your power steering belt is worn or loose.
An issue with the power steering fluid, like low level or degradation, can also cause strange steering sounds. Your first response should be to check the level and condition of your power steering fluid and replace it if needed. If that doesn’t resolve the problem, you may need a new power steering pump or to adjust or replace your steering belt.

๐Ÿ”ง: POOR RETURNABILITY:

If your steering wheel doesn't easily return to the neutral position after making a turn, it has poor "returnability." This is often caused by improper wheel alignment or issues with the steering gear being too loose or tight.
A wheel alignment, or adjusting the steering gears to ensure they’re properly torqued, can typically resolve this steering problem.

๐Ÿ”ง: HARD STEERING:

Hard steering, or steering stiffness, is a common problem that essentially makes turning your vehicle require more effort. This may be caused by low power steering fluid, a loose or damaged power steering belt, a faulty power steering pump, or a bad steering gear box or pinion unit.
A thorough inspection of your power steering system, including the level and quality of the fluid, is recommended to determine the cause.

๐Ÿ”ง: EXCESSIVE PLAY: If your steering wheel seems loose or wobbles, you're likely experiencing excessive "play." This often indicates worn steering or suspension components, like bad tie rods, ball joints, steering gear mechanism, or an alignment issue.
Excess play can make a car's handling feel unpredictable, especially at high speeds, and should be inspected right away. A wheel alignment, or replacement of any worn steering and suspension parts may be needed to resolve the problem.

๐Ÿ”ง: STEERING WANDER:

Steering wander refers to a vehicle's tendency to drift or stray off a straight path without any driver input. This is typically due to a problem with the vehicle's alignment or a worn-out suspension component, such as faulty shocks, struts, damaged springs, or weak suspension bushings.
You may also have faulty steering components, such as worn tie rods, ball joints, or control arm bushings, in addition to brakes dragging, uneven tire wear, or pressure issues. An alignment check and steering system inspection can help diagnose and correct this issue.

๐Ÿ”ง: VEHICLE PULLS TO ONE SIDE:

If your car pulls to one side when you're driving straight, it suggests an alignment issue, underinflated tires, or uneven tire wear. If the pulling happens solely when braking, the problem may be a bad or stuck brake caliper.
Regardless, if your steering wheel is pulling left or right, it requires immediate attention as it can compromise your control of the vehicle. Correcting the alignment, adjusting tire pressure, or fixing/replacing the brake caliper could resolve this issue.

๐Ÿ”ง: STEERING VIBRATIONS

Vibrations in the steering wheel are usually a sign of unbalanced tires, but the cause may also stem from warped brake rotors (noticeable when braking), loose wheel bearings, or issues with the suspension system.
A wheel balance or rotation might solve the issue if it's due to tire imbalance. If not, it's best to have your steering system checked.

๐Ÿ”ง: STEERING KICKBACK:

Steering kickback is the jolt or jerk felt in the steering wheel when driving over rough or uneven surfaces. While the sensation is caused by the road surface, excessive kickback could be a sign of poor wheel alignment, or problems with the suspension system, like bad shocks, struts, or bushings.
Having these systems checked will help to identify the problem so you can work towards a solution.

RED FLAGS THAT YOU SHOULD REPLACE YOUR STEERING WHEEL

If you didn't notice, none of the above steering problems actually stem from a faulty steering wheel. This is because steering wheel replacement is not a common repair.

More often than not, issues arise from the interconnected components such as the steering gear, suspension system, or power steering pump. However, that doesn't mean steering wheel issues don't exist.

IN RARE CASES, YOU MIGHT ENCOUNTER A FEW RED FLAGS INDICATING IT'S TIME TO REPLACE YOUR STEERING WHEEL FOR SAFETY'S REASONS:

๐Ÿ”ง: EXCESSIVE WEAR & TEAR/VISIBLE DAMAGE:
Over time, steering wheels can show signs of excessive wear and tear, such as peeling or discoloration. While aesthetics aren’t a safety concern per se, if the steering wheel is cracked, has broken spokes, or shows signs of significant wear and tear, it may compromise your grip and control.

๐Ÿ”ง: UNRESPONSIVE, LOOSE, OR WOBBLY STEERING WHEEL:
If your steering wheel is less responsive, loose, or wobbly, you have a serious safety concern. It might mean the steering column or the steering wheel itself is damaged, or there’s a problem with the connection between the two. This is not a common issue but one that requires immediate attention.

๐Ÿ”ง: NON-FUNCTIONAL CONTROLS:
If the buttons or switches on your steering wheel stop working, like cruise control, volume, phone functions, etc., and troubleshooting attempts don’t work, you may have to replace the steering wheel to restore their functionality.
If you encounter any of these red flags, you should consider consulting a professional mechanic to determine if a steering wheel replacement is necessary.

HOW TO REPLACE YOUR STEERING WHEEL

Replacing a steering wheel may sound like a daunting task, but with the right tools and a bit of patience, it's ultimately not that difficult.

Just note that if your vehicle has front passenger airbags, a safety feature made standard beginning in 1998, it's best to have a professional perform the replacement to prevent accidental activation of the airbag.

BELOW I'LL' SHARE A BASIC REPLACEMENT GUIDE THAT YOU CAN USE FOR VEHICLES NOT equipped with front passenger airbags:

๐Ÿ”ง: COLLECT THE NEEDED TOOLS:
Before you start, gather all the necessary tools. You'll typically need a flathead screwdriver, a socket wrench set, and a steering wheel puller.

๐Ÿ”ง: DISCONNECT THE BATTERY:
The first step in any electrical-related repair should always be to disconnect the battery. This prevents accidental electrical discharge or short circuits.

๐Ÿ”ง: REMOVE THE HORN OR CENTER CAP: Most steering wheels will have a horn button or a center cap that can be gently pried off with the flathead screwdriver to reveal the center nut. If you’re unsure, be sure to confirm with the manufacturer's instructions in a repair manual.

๐Ÿ”ง: LOOSEN AND REMOVE THE CENTER NUT: First, ensure the steering wheel is centered with the front wheels and mark the position on the steering column's center shaft, which is often splined. With this alignment marked, use the appropriate-sized socket to loosen and remove the center nut. Keep track of this nut, as you'll need it later when securing the new steering wheel.

๐Ÿ”ง: USE A STEERING WHEEL PULLER:
With the center nut removed, you can use the steering wheel puller to remove the steering wheel from the steering column.

๐Ÿ”ง: INSTALL THE NEW STEERING WHEEL:
Line up the new steering wheel with the steering column and push it onto the shaft. Then, replace the center nut and tighten it to the recommended torque (found in your vehicle's service manual). Then, confirm the steering wheel is centered with the front wheels.

๐Ÿ”ง: RECONNECT THE HORN OR CENTER CAP: once the new wheel is secure, you can reconnect the horn or center cap.

๐Ÿ”ง: RECONNECT THE BATTERY:
Finally, reconnect the battery, start your vehicle, and test your new steering wheel to make sure it's correctly installed and responsive.
When considering the above steps, note that every vehicle is different, so be sure to consult your owner's manual or a professional mechanic if you're unsure at any point.

Compassion.

We made mistakes. We made wrong decisions, said the wrong words, or took a wrong turn. But here’s a truth worth remembering: A person should never be judged at their weakest moment. None of us wants to be defined by our worst day. Criticism is easy. Quick. Cheap. But rarely helpful. What the world needs more of is compassion with context, the grace to see the bigger picture behind someone’s stumble. #PassionPurposeProductivity

May paliwanag.

Eh Bakit May Mga Kusinang Sumasabog?

Yung marunong magplano bago gumastos,

Something Bold.

In 1983, Steve Jobs did something bold.
He looked across the table at Pepsi’s president, John Sculley, and said:

“Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life?
Or do you want to come with me and change the world?”

Sculley chose to join him.

That was quite bold and daring. You wonder how such a small boy was able to convince one of the most experienced CEOs of the time to abandom Pepsi and join a startup.

By the way, Sculley was 16 years older than Jobs. When Sculley became CEO of Apple in 1983, Jobs was 28 years old, and Sculley was 44.

It however turned out that that single moment would spark one of the most shocking betrayals in business history.
Because just two years later…

John Sculley led the boardroom vote to fire Steve Jobs from his own company.

Would you believe that?

Yes — Apple fired its founder.

But the real story?
It’s not just about ego.

It’s about vision, power, and what happens when two leaders believe in different futures.

Let’s rewind.

Apple was growing fast. Too fast.

Steve Jobs was a wild genius—brilliant, creative, but chaotic.
He inspired people… but also overwhelmed them.

Apple needed structure, which Jobs couldn't offer. Investors wanted a grown-up in the room.
So Steve brought in John Sculley—a polished executive, with a sharp business mind and marketing magic from Pepsi.

Jobs believed Sculley would handle the business…
While he focused on changing the world.

But they were heading for a crash.

Steve Jobs had a dream: the Macintosh — a computer that felt human.

He poured everything into it.
Sleepless nights. Huge budgets. Perfectionism that drained his team.

But when the Macintosh launched in 1984, it flopped.

It looked great. It was revolutionary.
But it was too expensive and too slow for real work.

Apple started losing money.
And the board began to worry.

Sculley tried to rein Jobs in.
Jobs pushed harder, refusing to compromise.

What started as a partnership…
Turned into a power struggle.

And Sculley made a decision:

“Steve can’t run this company. He’s too reckless.”

So he went to the board.

And the board agreed.

In 1985, Steve Jobs walked into a boardroom, full of people he hired…

And they voted to strip him of all power.

The company he started in a garage…

The company he sacrificed for...

Was no longer his.

He was only 30.

That alone can break anyone, especially at such age.

But not Jobs.

After leaving Apple, Steve was heartbroken.
But he didn’t give up. He simply called forth his ingenuity and creativity.

He started two new companies:

1. NeXT — a powerful computer platform

2. Pixar — yes, that Pixar. The animation studio that made Toy Story

Both became instant hits.

In 1997, Apple was struggling and near collapse.
And guess who they brought back?

Steve Jobs.

He returned without grudges, rather with fire in his bones.

Within 10 years, he launched the iPod, iPhone, and iPad.

And the man who was once fired…

Became the greatest comeback story in business history.

Listen, your greatest asset remains the quality of your brain. People can strip you of all physical assets and you can reclaim all within years or even months if you are sure of the power that resides in you.

So What Can We Learn From This?
✅ Visionaries can be hard to handle… but they often see what others don’t.
Don’t dismiss them just because they don’t fit the system.

✅ Good leadership isn’t just about control—it’s about direction.
Sculley kept Apple steady. But Steve gave Apple soul.

✅ Failure isn’t the end.
Being fired didn’t kill Steve’s dream—it refined it.

✅ Always believe in your own magic.
Even when the world votes against you… don’t quit on yourself.

✅ Legacy isn’t built in comfort.
It’s built in the fire of rejection, risk, and reinvention.

Steve Jobs didn’t just build a company.
He built a culture.
He made tech feel human.

And though he was once pushed out…
He came back to change the world for good.

So next time you feel rejected, undervalued, or pushed aside…

Remember this:

Sometimes, your biggest breakthrough starts with your biggest setback.
