It's convenient. It makes managing your money easier, and it can be especially used for emergencies. But it's also big responsibility. When credit is used improperly, it canlead to unmanageable debt and financial crisis. We believe that the more you know about credit, the more likely you are to use this powertool wisely.

Credit Card useful tips:

1. Shop around for the best credit card terms.
2. Understand all the terms of the card agreement before you accept a credit card.
3. Set a monthly spending limit and stick to it.
4. Shop as carefully with a credit card as you do with cash.
5. Pay your credit card bills promptly and in full to minimized finance charges.
6. Don't take on monthly credit payments unless you're certain you can meet them.
7. If you charge day-to-day expenses, pay them in full each month.
8. Save money each payday for emergencies.
9. Keep credit card information (including phone number of issuer) in a safe place in case your cards are lost or stolen.
10. Keep copies of sales slips and compare charges when credit card bills arrive. If there's a mistake, call your credit card issuer.
