Born in 50s 60s 70s 80s

 Reposting:

TO ALL FOLKS WHO WERE BORN IN THE 1950's, 60's, 70's and early 80's even 90's...we are the living eye witnesses (sa buhay pa ngayong 2020)

First, some of us survived being born to mothers who did not have an OB-Gyne, and drank San Miguel Beer while they carried us.

While pregnant, they took cold or cough medicine, Linunod, balikutsa, bukayo, and didn't have to worry about diabetes. Ang tsokoleyt di pa sikat.

Then after all that trauma, our baby cribs were made of hard wood covered with lead-based paints.

We had no soft cushy cribs that play music, no disposable diapers (lampin ng General Milling na may faded picture na naka-salute), and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, no kneepads, wala pang brake ang bisikleta.

As children, we would ride in hot un-airconditioned buses with wooden seats or cars with no airconditioning & no seat belts.

Riding on the back of a carabao on a breezy summer day was considered a treat. (ngayon; ang mga bata ayaw sa Kalabaw)

We drank water from the garden hose and NOT bottled mineral water sa Nature Spring or Viva, or Absolute Mineral water (straight from the faucet or poso!)

We shared one soft drink bottle with four of our friends, and NO ONE actually died from this or contracted hepatitis.

We ate rice with star margarine, bahaw na nilagyan ng asin at mantika , drank raw eggs straight from the shell, and drank softdrinks with real sugar in it (hindi diet coke or Pepsi Max), but we weren't sick or overweight dahil.....

WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, and get back when the streetlights came on. Syato, tumbam preso, moro-moro, bente-uno, Tagu-taguan, mataya taya, patintero, monkey-monkey...so many to mention.

No one was able to reach us all day (hindi pa uso ang cellphone). And yes, we were O.K.

We did not have Playstations, X-boxes, no 100 channels on cable, no DVD movies, no surround stereo, no IPOD's, no cell phones, no computers, no Internet, no chat rooms, no Friendsters and no FB........... WE HAD REAL FRIENDS and we went outside to actually talk and play with them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no stupid lawsuits from these accidents. The only rubbing we get is from our friends with the words..masakit ba?

We played marbles (jolen) in the dirt, washed our hands just a little and ate putok & monay. We were not afraid of getting germs in our stomachs.

We had to live with homemade guns (gawa sa kahoy, tinalian ng garter at goma), sumpit, tirador at sumpak(gawa sa bolpen o kawayan) na pwedeng makasakit, pero masaya pa rin kahit magkasakitan.

We made up games with sticks (syato), and cans (tumbam preso) and although we were told they were dangerous, walang grabeng nangyare, bukol lang naman.

We walked, rode bikes, or took tricycles to a friend's house and knocked on the door or mambato ng bubong, or just yelled for them to jump out the window!

Mini basketball teams had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't pass had to learn to deal with the disappointment. Wala pang mga childhood depression at damaged self esteem or ano pang kaek-ekan.

That generation of ours has produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers, creative thinkers and successful professionals ever! They are the CEO's, Engineers, Doctors and Military Generals of today.

The past 51 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

We had failure, success, and responsibility. We learned from our mistakes the hard way.

You might want to share this with others who've had the luck to grow up as real kids. We were lucky indeed.

And if you like, copy and paste it to your profile so they will know how brave you are.

Kapit lang.

Patience is a virtue: Meet Sir Big Boss Nic.

Are you disappointed due to PRC board exams being canceled or re-scheduled for few more months due to unpredictable and continued restrictions? Well, meet the Sir Big Boss Nic who has been waiting for almost 50 years for the perfect timing to take the board exam. He finished his BSME degree at MAPUA Institute of Technology in the 1970s; however, he did not have a chance to take the exam in his early days due to financial difficulties and he decided to go abroad.

With his main assets - perseverance and hard work - he became very successful in his career running big projects including the iconic Burj Khalifa, Sobha Hartland developments, and Drake & Scull International in Dubai. He also worked as the general engineering manager in one of the biggest engineering firms in the world - managing hundreds of engineers and workers of different nationalities across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He received many prestigious awards and recognitions for all his accomplishments throughout his career due to his attention to detail and technical expertise.

Despite being so successful in his career, Sir Nic never forgets the importance of a PRC license. In 2011, he started reviewing for the board exam, however, a few months before the board exam he suffered a heart attack that brought him into bed for almost 5 months. When the next review schedule was announced, he was the first who enrolled despite his body is still paralyzed. He can hardly move his neck due to the braces and he could not walk or write notes properly. Heart attack survivors experience memory loss, attention problems, and other cognitive issues. But because of his motivation and willingness, he commuted and walked through the scorching desert that would reach up to 50 degrees Celsius (@ relative humidity approx. 60%) just to attend the review program. With him was a bag full of medicines that he had to take every two hours but guess what, he was always on top of the class.

Fast forward 2020, Sir Nic had recovered and was actively attending review classes (his last evaluation exam was Mathematics =96%, Machine Design=95 %, and Power & Industrial Design=76%) however, he lost the chance again to take the board exam due to COVID-19. He is now 70+ years old but is still not giving up. Everyday, despite his busy schedule, he allocates time for his review and he is still very optimistic that one day, he will take the board exam and pass or even top it!

His message to his fellow aspirants “Don’t give up or quit, your day will come and it'll be just a matter of time. There's always time for everything for every reason. No matter what happens, God is there for guidance and give what is really for us despite challenges in life.”

"Trusting in God is being patient. Be patient, you never know how God is going to use you. It may take a little more time to do those things you aspire to do or achieve, but they will eventually get done. Yes, everything happens according to the will of God. Have faith in God and you will be successful. A man is not finished when he is defeated, he is finished when he quits."

Cancellation of board exams or failure on it is not the end of the world. Kapit lang and be optimistic that one day, your dream license will come.

RIP Neil Perez

January 28, 2021. Our condolence. Life is too short. Enjoy it.

Reminders

Reminder: The food we eat is a result of someone's hard work.

Stock Market :sugal o hindi

 "STOCK MARKET; Gambling or Not??"

Sa salitang "Sugal", like sa card game, kung ano yun binigay sayo na card, wala kang choice but to deal with it.

Hindi yun kahit ano na lng ang ibigay sayo, you have a "Choice" according to what you know, or according to your knowledge.

Its called, "Trading with a Plan".

Hindi porke natalo ka sa trading at feel mo inagaw sayo yun pera mo ay sugal na yun. Kasi may mga choices pa yan;

1)Pwede kang magpaipit until makarecover ang pera mo (walang umagaw sayo nun ng pera diba, time consuming lng for waiting.)

Work from home, easy access to computer and internet. But stock trading is not a "Get rich quick"...

Pumasok ka, natalo, then give up agad.

But as for me, I Live to trade another day".

Learn to trade.

Pagkatapos ng profit taking ng mga whale at sharks, after the massive sell off and retailers panic, nagsimula na nman silang bumili.

Well, stop whining and crying. Start waking up and learning, magbasa ka ng Traders Empire Book at manood ng mga YouTube videos ko.

Because walang lugar ang pointing finger and blaming others sa trade mo. Ano yan palagi ka na lng Newbie, yes kung bago ka it’s understandable but after experiencing that, next thing you should do are unfollow them and wake up. Hindi rin nila alam mga ginagawa nila.

The fact is, hindi nman bago ito sa market. This is a cycle na paulit ulit lng, mga lessons learned na palagi natin nakikita or nararanasan natin mismo first hand.

And this is stock trading, this is stock market. Bawal talaga mahihinang nilalang dito, paiiyakin ka lng lagi. Stock trading is like a roller coaster ride, up and down emotions, high and low feelings.

As the old saying says, Aral muna bago Invest.

At para sa matatagal ng trader;

What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.

Spend time with people

“I spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn't resist myself and asked...

''Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?''

''Why would I do that?'' He asked...

''Well, then you wont have to spend an hour here for things like transfer.

You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!''

I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking.

He asked ''If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house?

''Yes, yes''! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything!

His answer left me tongue-tied.

He said ''Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the staff who know me very well by now.

You know I am alone...this is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave.

Two years back I got sick, The store owner from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried.

When your Mom fell down few days back while on her morning walk. Our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live.

Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online?

Why would I want everything delivered to me and force me to interact with just my computer?

I like to know the person that I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds of Relationships.

Does Amazon deliver all this as well?'''

Technology isn't life..

Spend time with people .. Not with devices."

Traders 20 golden rule

20 Golden Rules for Traders By Alan Farley

1. Forget the news, remember the chart. You're not smart enough to know how news will affect price. The chart already knows the news is coming.

2. Buy the first pullback from a new high. Sell the first pullback from a new low. There's always a crowd that missed the first boat.

3. Buy at support, sell at resistance. Everyone sees the same thing and they're all just waiting to jump in the pool.

4. Short rallies not selloffs. When markets drop, shorts finally turn a profit and get ready to cover.

5. Don't buy up into a major moving average or sell down into one. See #3.

6. Don't chase momentum if you can't find the exit. Assume the market will reverse the minute you get in. If it's a long way to the door, you're in big trouble.

7. Exhaustion gaps get filled. Breakaway and continuation gaps don't. The old traders' wisdom is a lie. Trade in the direction of gap support whenever you can.

8. Trends test the point of last support/resistance. Enter here even if it hurts.

9. Trade with the TICK not against it. Don't be a hero. Go with the money flow.

10. If you have to look, it isn't there. Forget your college degree and trust your instincts.

11. Sell the second high, buy the second low. After sharp pullbacks, the first test of any high or low always runs into resistance. Look for the break on the third or fourth try.

12. The trend is your friend in the last hour. As volume cranks up at 3:00pm don't expect anyone to change the channel.

13. Avoid the open. They see YOU coming sucker.

14. 1-2-3-Drop-Up. Look for downtrends to reverse after a top, two lower highs and a double bottom.

15. Bulls live above the 200 day, bears live below. Sellers eat up rallies below this key moving average line and buyers to come to the rescue above it.

16. Price has memory. What did price do the last time it hit a certain level? Chances are it will do it again.

17. Big volume kills moves. Climax blow-offs take both buyers and sellers out of the market and lead to sideways action.

18. Trends never turn on a dime. Reversals build slowly. The first sharp dip always finds buyers and the first sharp rise always finds sellers.

19. Bottoms take longer to form than tops. Fear acts more quickly than greed and causes stocks to drop from their own weight.

20. Beat the crowd in and out the door. You have to take their money before they take yours, period.

Happy 24th bday Karen Ganda.

Happy bday to my lovely daughter Karen Ganda. More bday to come.

Ear infection

Ear infections are one of the most common health problems faced by children and adults alike. Generally, an ear infection can develop due to a fluid buildup or blockage in the middle ear. As a result, the eustachian tubes get blocked or swollen due to infection. This can result in a wide range of problems for the affected person. Bacterial and viral infections are common factors behind an ear infection. The nature of Ear infection will determine the treatment for the same. For inner ear infections, doctors may prescribe antibiotics. Accordingly, he will prescribe ear drops and antibiotic tablets for outer ear infections. In the case of antibiotics, patients need to complete the full course or duration of taking the medicine. Even if they feel better, it is recommended to complete the course as infections can flare up once again.

Covid19

 Parang may mali...

God bless the Philippines!

Premium or unleaded.

 Premium or Unleaded?

Most Filipinos are still saying premium and unleaded to distinguish two types of gasoline. And these same peopla are still thinking that because it is called unleaded, it has low octane, and that premium has high octane.

Well, for info number 1. The Philippines no longer sell leaded gasoline. All gasoline types are now unleaded.

Which leads us to info number 2. The correct term now should be premium and regular. Not premium and unleaded.

So info number 3 is...premium has higher octane, and regular has lower octane. But both are unleaded.

But here's another wrong notion about octane rating. People think that fuel with higher octane is more powerful than those with low octane.

Which leads us to info number 4. Octane rating is not for power. It is to equal the compression ratio of the engine. Regular cars and motorcycles we use for our daily commute has low compression ratio. Therefore they do not need high octane fuel. These type of vehicles are highly recommended to just use regular gas (which we wrongly call "unleaded").

Info number 5. Sports cars and sports motorcycles have high performance engines. The compression ratio of their engines are very high. Using regular gas for these engines will cause pre-ignition due to the high compression inside the combustion chamber, which in turn causes piston knocks. And piston knocks damages the engine.

Info number 6. The octane in the fuel are retarding agents which prevents pre-ignition caused by high compression engines. That is why high performance engines MUST use premium gas (which we wrongly call "leaded") because they have higher octane, which prevents pre-ignition.

in short:

Low Compression=Low Octane.

High Compression=High Octane.

If your vehicle is not a sports car, don't use premium. your car will run. But it will not have any effect on your engine's power whatsoever. You will just be one of those who spend more money for fuel you don't need. And if your vehicle is a high performance one, don't use regular. You will hurt your engine, and your pocket for the repair later on.

And don't say premium and unleaded. Say premium and regular. Because all gasoline fuel are now unleaded.

I hope this helped

I can lose

I can lose my money, but i can always earn it.

I can lose my insurance but i can always buy it.

I can lose my capital but i can always raise a new one.

I can lose my girlfriend but i can always find another one.

I can lose my house but i can always build a new one.

However i can never lose my VISION, without it nobody can go forward.

A gentle reminder to all those who lost big today 🙂

Do not let your failures define you, learn from it, failures never held us back anyway.

Remember you can fail a hundred times but as long as you have your vision, you will always have a direction.

Hope it this simple phrases could lift you up today. 😉🙂🙂

Iq

There are three types of INTELLIGENCE:

Intelligence Quotient (IQ)

Emotional Quotient (EQ)

Social Quotient (SQ)

1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ):

this is the measure of your comprehension,

ability to solve math problems,

retain information and recall subject matters.

2. Emotional Quotient (EQ):

this is the measure of your ability to maintain or be at peace with others;

be responsible; be honest; respect boundaries; be humble, genuine and considerate.

3. Social Quotient (SQ):

this is the measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time.

People who have higher EQ and SQ tend to do better in life than those with high IQ but low EQ and SQ.

Most schools capitalize

in improving IQ level

while EQ and SQ are played down.

A man of high IQ can end up being employed by a man of high EQ and SQ even though the latter has an average IQ.

Your EQ represents your

CHARACTER;

your SQ represents your

CHARISMA.

EQ and SQ make one

COPE and manage

better than the other.

Now there is a 4th one:

A new paradigm

4. The Adversity Quotient (AQ):

the measure of your ability to go through a rough patch in life and

come out without losing your mind.

AQ determines

who will give up in face of troubles,

who will abandon their family or

who will decide quitting life's journey.

To parents,

Expose children to other areas of

LIFE MORE THAN ACADEMICS.

Develop their EQ, SQ and AQ.

They should become

MULTIFACETED human beings

who are able to do things independently of the parents.

Finally,

DO NOT PREPARE THE ROAD FOR YOUR CHILDREN ...

rather,

PREPARE YOUR CHILDREN FOR THE ROAD.

I agree so I reposted.

Please #repost

if you value the gift of life😍🤗

Protect

 PROTECT YOUR MARRIAGE!

Even if you are married to the best spouse in the whole world, if you do not guard your heart, you may end up "falling in love" with someone aside your spouse and eventually ruin your marriage.

No one gets married and plans to have affair but lots of married men and women are into affairs today because they slept when they should have been wide awake with their five senses alert.

1. Don't be too friendly with the opposite sex.

This is where lots of married people land in trouble.

Over spirituality and pride will destroy your marriage!

You can't handle close friendship with the opposite sex as a married person. Your heart is involved.

Set boundaries.

Be disciplined.

Be cordial.

Be respectful.

Be godly.

Be holy.

2. Don't share your personal problems with an opposite sex friend. It will bond you together. Problems bond people.

3. Don't contact any opposite sex you are fond of.

If you secretly admire them, you are fond of them and there is a tingling in your heart at the mere thought of them, don't contact!

4. Avoid unnecessary eye contact that lingers with the opposite sex.

5. Don't tell an opposite sex you are romantic or sexy.  That private information is for your spouse only.

6. Avoid discussions with the opposite sex when you are tired, very sad, depressed, sorrowful, drowsy, sleepy or very sick. This can cloud your judgment and make you say silly things.

Talk to your husband/wife instead.

7. Avoid unnecessary compliment of the opposite sex.

8. Stop saying "I love you" to the opposite sex.

For what?

9. Work on your Marriage. Keep the fire of love and romance alive in your Marriage.

10. Protect your Family.

Don't share your marital problems with your opposite sex friend. It will bond you.

11. Never flirt with the opposite sex.

12. Mind the pictures you post on social media. Limit pictures that show your curves or portray you as sexy.

13. Do not contact all your EX after marriage.

14. Don't chat secretly with the opposite sex.

15. Stop focusing on your spouse's weaknesses and appreciate their strengths.

If you always see the bad side of your spouse, you will be angry, bitter, critical and look for someone who can "understand" you and make you happy aside your spouse. That is the beginning of an emotional affair and eventual sexual affair. It is the beginning of the end of a once glorious marriage!

FLEE from all appearance of evil is what the Bible says. What you will not eat, don't bring it to your nose. Don't smell it!

Don't start what you cannot finish!

Avoid all emotional and sexual affairs. They will destroy your marriage!

May you not take a step that will lead to eternal regret in Jesus' name.

PLEASE SEEK FOR THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT CALLED SELF CONTROL AND ALWAYS ANCHOR YOUR THOUGHTS ON PHIL 4:8.

GOD BLESS YOU.

Let this message get to every church Leaders and let them share it on their various group platforms so all married men and women will get it. Let them discuss it at their meetings.

The Lord will keep our homes, marriages and keep us pure to reign with Him in Jesus name. Amen.

Thank you for reading.

Inom tubig tama.

“wala bang Smart o Sun o TM o Talk n Text?”

Hay... Kaya please lang wag niyo sabihin. Hindi man lang sila mag-effort. Nakakainis! Sobrang tamad! Hayaan niyo sila maghanap. Pahirapan natin. At pag nagtanong pa yan kung magkano consultation fee. Sabihin niyo depende sa ITR (income tax return) niyo.

Maraming salamat po.

Advice

Ano ang dapat mong kainin?

 Ano Ang Dapat Mong Kainin?

May taglay itong fiber, bitamina at minerals.

Buhay ng isang intra-day trader/scalper.

It took me almost 6 months to master these skills:

(1) knowing how to read fear/hesitation/greed based on price action, market depth, and specific time of the day

(2) knowing which stocks to day trade and more importantly

(3) knowing exactly when to enter/exit.

You just haven't learned how market psychology works yet. In short, pautakan lang.

Effective

Effective, inspiring people look at the mirror every day and ask themselves these questions:

1. What do I have to do to become better today.

2. What did I learn from the mistakes I did yesterday?

3.  What can I do to be able to make a positive influence on someone or something today? A good habit and good practice. #PassionPurposeProductivity #StartTheWeekRight

Happy

 Happy Will Be Back

I live in a world where happy is normal

I live in a world where laughter is welcome

I have always known that whatever happens

Happy will be back, laughter will be here

When things don’t seem quite right

I do best not to worry, I know the wheels will turn

And in time I will look around and smile

Happy is back, laughter is here again

Again and again, Happy never fails

Again and again, Laughter will fill the air

Sorrow and tears, sadness and pains

Will slowly fade when the new day shines

And Happy will be back

Laughter will fill the air.

Gallstones

Stock

Remember, in stocks and in life, it's always easy to buy than to sell.

Pero pag na practice mo ang art of selling in both life and stocks. Mas magiging okay ang cash flow mo.

Para sa mga newbies, for me, mas okay na mag focus kayo sa selling point niyo. Either cutloss, take profit or trailing stop. Mas mapapadali ang trading journey niyo.

Don't hold a losing stocks. There's no such thing as a cheap or expensive stocks. There's only losing and winning stocks. Sometimes yung akala mong mababa na may ibababa pa. at yung akala mong mataas na, may itataas pa.

Practice buy high then sell higher on uptrending stocks or on pullback. Pwede din namang buy on sideways. Position yourself on it and wait for it. But never buy on down trending stocks then mag aaverage down ka pa.

Then add more shares while the stocks is moving up.

Wala namang first hand experience in trading pero nag tuturo about stock market? come on meyn sheet. Practice what you preach.

hindi agad agad ang art of making money without doing anything. Meron ding sacrifice jan. lots of learnings and discipline. hindi yung katamaran pinapairal sa investing.

Believe in Jesus Name.

Everybody better open their eyes and realize what's really going on. In three short months, just like he did with the plagues in Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship. God said, "You want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centers. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters. You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market. You don't want to go to church and worship Me, I will make it where you can't go to church. "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Maybe we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of the world and have a personal revival where we focus on the ONLY thing in this world that matters. Jesus.   P.S. If you don't believe in Jesus that's your right. I believe in Jesus with all my heart and soul...if you don't just keep scrolling"" If you believe this, copy, paste and post. AMEN! Believe in Jesus name!!! Amen!!!

Kaya umayos kayo! Gawin lahat sa ikabubuti ng kalusugan niyo. 😘❤️

Broken

 Gracefully Broken.

I was in Daiso last night, and there was a lady and two kids behind me in the LONG line. One was a big kid, and the other one was a toddler. The bigger one had a pack of glow sticks, and the toddler was screaming for them. The mom opened the pack and gave him one which stopped his tears. He walked around with it smiling, but then the bigger boy took it, and the toddler started screaming again. Just as the Mom was about to fuss, the older child bent the glow stick and handed it back to the toddler. As we walked outside at the same time, the toddler noticed that the stick was now glowing; and his brother said, "I had to break it so that you could get the full effect from it."

I almost ran because l could hear God saying to me, "I had to break you to show you why I created you. You had to go through it so you could fulfill your purpose."

That precious child was happy just swinging that "unbroken" glow stick around in the air, because he didn't understand what it was created to do - which was "to glow."

There are some people who will be content just "being," but some of us that God has chosen... we have to be "broken."

We have to get sick.

We have to lose a job.

We go through a bad breakup.

We go through a divorce.

We have to bury our partner, sister, parents, best friend, or our best friend cats/dogs!

In those moments of desperation, God is breaking us. But... when the breaking is done, then we will be able to see the reason for which we were created. So when you see us glowing, just know that we have been broken but healed by His Grace and Mercy!!!

Less Christian.

Ang konti-konti ng Christians sa mundo.

Pakonti pa nang pakonti.

BAKET?

Walang gustong sumama.

Nakakailang.

Nakakasakal.

Gusto ituwid lahat ang bawat liko---all the time.

(Kahit na napakaliit, napakakonti at napakababaw

naman talaga ng alam sa Bible, nagdudung-dunungan)

Walang pinalalamapas; kailangan i-rebuke lahat.

Lahat hinuhusgahan, sinusuri, binabatikos.

at judge mo.

Mabuti pa ang mga outlaws,

they carry and care for their wounded.

Many Christians kill their wounded;

Nadapa ka na nga, nagkamali, nahulog---

tatapakan ka pa, huhusgahan, lilitisin, ititiwalag

kahit buong-buhay ka nang naglingkod sa church.

Kandarapa ang Christians na baguhin ang mundo.

Bakit kaya di muna magsimula sa sarili?

Pilit pinasusunod kay Jesus ang madla.

Bakit kaya di muna ang church people

maibigin, mapagpatawad, mabuti at madaling kausap?

Ayaw sumama ng madla,

ayaw sumunod,

kasi hindi naman sila kumbinsido

sa nakikita at nababalitaan nila.

Avoid toxic person.

When a toxic person can no longer control you or use you, then they will control how others see you. The misinformation is unfair but you should stay above it, do not get defensive. Other people will eventually see the truth just as you did. What you should not do is to play the game they are playing. Because it is so NOT you. #PassionPurposeProductivity

 2021 First Big News

Pambansang usapin ngayon about the flight stewardess tragic death.

Daming kuru-kuro about her untimely death. Naglabasan mga forensic pathology experts, commentators, judgementals at yung iba mema o may masabi lang. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family. 🙏

Those are the days.

Noon, during elementary days...pag walang klase maliligo sa pantalan. During those times, everyone in our neighborhood treated each other like family.

Lahat ng magkakapitbahay ang tawagan ay Auntie/ate/nanay/mader/tita/tiya/tiyo/tay,mano at mana even if they were not related talaga. We went out somewhere kakain ng bayabas, balimbing (pag walang bunga, talbos na lang ng bayabas🤪, caimito, makopa at ibapa (). Pag uuwi ang damit puno ng amorsiko. We're happy roaming around our neighbor's yard, 😂 mamumulaklak ng mangga at santol then hihingi pa ng asin sa kapitbahay. We got dirty till the sun set (minsan makukurot pa kasi madungis na). Pag the sky is orange 🌅 (basta orange ang langit uulan bukas).

We didn't eat fast food 🍟 🍔 kasi wala pa, d pa uso ang McDonald's, Mang Inasal at Jollibee . We ate home cooked meals; ginisang kangkong, pako, papaya , ginataang langka, inihaw na isda, tinolang isda, nilupak na saging. Kontento na sa home made ice candy at ibebenta tig .50cents🤗. Makakapaglaro lang pag tapos na lahat ng trabaho -sungka, tubig-tubig, unggoy unggoy sa baraha, step in-step out, tumba lata, jackstones, sipaktakraw, patintero 🏃, luksong tinik, jolen, tansan, taguan, syato, dampa, bahay-bahayan🏠 , Chinese garter, baraha pares-pares, saranggola, pitik-bulag.

There was no bottled water 🍶, iigib ng tubig ilalagay sa banga para malamig ang iinumin kung galing sa banga . Pinupuno ang drum para panligo at panlaba .We would share the same bottle of royal, coke or mirinda , pepsi after giving it a wipe with our dirty hands or sleeves.

There was no such thing as a mobile phone or any other electronic devices 📵. We weren't AFRAID OF ANYTHING. If someone had a fight, that's what it was magsuntukan lang...kids didn't have guns 🔫 or knives 🔪 and not worried that someone would post something nasty about us for the whole world to see.

The sun was our curfew. If 6pm na madilim na we would run home as soon as we could kasi pag matigas ang ulo, at magbibingi-bingihan yari ka dahil may sinturon or sanga ng bayabas panghampas😂 🏡. School is life... 🏫 it was mandatory✏️ 📒Bahala walang baon basta skwela. We watch our mouths around our elders 👴 👵 because we knew we would get reprimanded if we were disrespectful in any way. (katakot mapalo, makurot!)

Rip Danny Lim

 An Officer and A Gentleman

The Soldier as a Rebel

Goodbye Sir Danny.

I cant help but mention some of the personalities who left a mark in the Philippine  Military. Of the many whom i admire, Brig. General Danilo  Lim   would be the foremost.

He was born Danilo Delapuz  Lim on June 2, 1955 in Solano Nueva Vizcaya. His father, He Yia Lim was a rice trader whose roots can be traced back to Xiamen, China. His mother Catalina Delapuz was from Bohol. The Lims were rice traders but the elder Lim died when Danny was two years old.

His proficiency in Math made him pass his Elem and High School with flying colors. What is astounding in him is his penchance for being the topnotcher. He was in his first year at the University of the Philippines when he took the PMA entrance exams. He topped the exams. While still a Plebe at PMA, he took the entrance exams at US Military Academy at West Point. He topped the exams. He was the only guy i know who topnotch and was admitted at UP, PMA, and West Point all in a matter of one year.

After graduation from West.Point, he opted to serve in the Philippine Army. He took the Scout Ranger Couse where he graduted no. 1.

He preffered to be assigned to Jolo, Sulu after that. He commanded the forward Recon Unit of the 1st Infantry ( Tabak )

Division where he was twice wounded in combat.

He was also recruited with the Reform  the Armed Forces Movement ( RAM ) as a Captain and one of the officers who led

the 1st Scout Ranger Regiment in a coup d etat against Cory Aquino government in what is now known as the Siege of Makati in 1989.

He was also involved in the Manila Peninsula incident together with Sen. Antonio Trillanes 1V,  Capt. Nicanor Faeldon and Oakwood Mutineers calling for the ouster of then President Gloria Arroyo.

Because of this Gen. Lim was under detention for four years until he was granted freedom by the AFP on 2010.

He was assigned as Deputy Customs Commissioner at the Bureau of Customs by President Benigno Aquino but resigned in 2013 because he cannot stomach the rampant corruption in the Bureau.

On May 22, 2017, President Rodrigo Duterte appointed him Chairman of the MMDA.

Gen. Lim tested positive for Covid 19, on December 29, 2020. He died January 6, 2021 due to Cardiac Arrest.

May your ideals and principles continue to shine and your spirit of hope never fade but glow as a beacon to all of us.

Goodbye, Sir General Danny.

Curse of an honor student.

We have our own struggle. Don't pressure yourself.

Be happy it's your choice.

Being a stay at home wife isn’t living in pajamas and eating chocolate with rollers in your hair. It’s choosing to create a haven for your husband and family, it’s managing the tasks of the household so your husband can come home and shake off his long day at work. It’s making a choice to do the dirty work, the unappreciated work, and the work that no one else wants to do (I’m talking about you, toilets…).

And even though there are many people who just don’t “get it”, people who believe the stereotype and will shame your decision to stay home, your role isn’t defined by someone’s opinions.

(And it’s not your job to get in their face and prove them wrong, it’s your job to quietly and respectfully do your job – be a homemaker – and hope that one day they’ll see that not all stay at home wives are the way they’re portrayed in movies.)

As a stay at home wife, you have the opportunity to take life slower. Rather than jumping out of bed, quickly making breakfast and a cup of coffee then running out the door so you’re not late for work, you can wake up with your husband and help make his work morning just a bit more relaxed and easier. Then after he leaves for work, you can focus on the work laid out for you at home.

here are some of the advantages of being a stay at home wife…

*You get to focus, learn, and grow in your role as a homemaker

*If your husband has time off work you can escape for a few days together without having to ask your boss for time off

*You learn how to be happy with less

*You learn the value of money and how to thrive on a budget

*You gain a greater appreciation for the things you do have

*Impulse buying becomes a thing of the past

You’ll learn how to become creative with date night

*The value of quality time will be far greater than fleeting gifts

*You’ll learn how to focus on the blessings of life rather than the challenges.

“All this from choosing to quit my job and stay home?” YES – being a stay at home wife is so much more than just a title.

But, it’s also not for the faint of heart. There are plenty of challenges, whether financial, relational or others altogether that will come your way.

i want this, kaya kakayanin ko ito.

those who judge na "tinatamad na daw ako magtabaho" ... cge lang judge ka lang, wala akong pake sa iyo basta ako masaya ako.

Indigestion

Life is a choice nga di ba? Happy 2021. ❤️

PWD

Persons with Disability (PWDs) refer to individuals who suffer long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments which, upon interaction with various barriers, may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.

The seven types of disabilities mentioned in RA No. 7277 (Magna Carta for Persons with Disability) are psychosocial disability, disability due to chronic illness, learning disability, mental disability, visual disability, orthopedic disability, and communication disability.

Communication Disability is defined as an impairment in the process of speech, language or hearing, further broken down into two types: (a) Hearing Impairment is a total or partial loss of hearing function which impede the communication process essential to language, educational, social and/or cultural interaction; and (b) Speech and Language Impairment means one or more speech/language disorders of voice, articulation, rhythm and/or the receptive or and expressive processes of language.
