Happiness

"A professor gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The professor then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon.  Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon.

At that point, the professor told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon.

The professor said to the students: "These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too."

Retirement

 R E T I R E M E N T

1. One day you will retire. You won't be going to work. You won’t have office power any more. No influence or at best, a reduced influence. Your cash flow will also reduce! Check retirement date on your payslip.

2. Always go for your 30days annual leave. Whatever you do during your leave, is what you will be doing when you retire. If all you do is to sleep or watch TV, then that’s what you are likely do do in your retirement. Remember the book of Proverbs. A little sleep and a little slumber, so shall your poverty multiply.

Watching Big Brother will not save you heartache in retirement. Learn a trade or a skill during your leave. It will come handy. Spend your after-office hours learning something. Don’t spend it sleeping, Gossiping, watching TV!! Same goes for your weekend. Make them productive. You will thank yourself for spending your time productively.

3. Invest for your retirement... your children are not retirement investment. Don’t bank on your children’s support or the support of friends or relations. That’s a BIG risk. It may not happen. Be ready to take care of yourself!! Everyone has his own responsibilities. They won’t be able to help you that much. You will also lose your dignity and respect if you adopt a life of begging.

4. Start a hobby early in your working days to take you along when you retire. Rearing chicken, farming or own a shop. Acquire marketable skills (not useless paper certificates), etc.

5. Where shall you retire. Build yourself a home. Don't retire and start to rent a house or refuse to vacate government house. You will be at the mercy of your landlord at a time when your cash flow is not only reduced but unpredictable!!

6. Who shall be your dependants. By the time you retire, your children should be above 18, and self reliant.

7. Don't retire and stay in a big city unless you can TRULY afford it. You can't continue living in a big city after 60 with limited financial resources. The language and the hustle will be hard for you. Where possible, Relocate to a less expensive town where your reduced take home (pension) can go further.

8. Have property which can be rented or converted into cash. Have shares that pay good dividends. Plant cash trees. Rear goats, cultivate vegetables etc. these activities will not only give you income but will also keep you healthy.

9. Live a simple life. If you never built a house at your rural home, dont use your retirement package to build. It is unwise unless you plan to live there on a permanent basis or you are super rich and therefore can afford the luxury. The choice is yours.

Note that many of retirees die early because of the following:

1. They are Not mentally prepared to retire.

2. Lack of finances

3. They Lapse into Depression

4. They develop Hypertension/ Diabetes because of worries, anxiety and uncertainty and financial pressures.

YOUR DESK AT YOUR WORK PLACE IS NOT PERMANENT. PLAN FOR YOUR RETIREMENT.

Hindi masama

HINDI MASAMANG TUMULONG. PERO KUNG SOBRA SOBRA NA, NAKAKATULONG PA BA?

-

I heard a story from a seminar I went to last week.

And it hit me so hard and changed my perspective about helping people.

And here goes the story.

It is called, "The Butterfly Story"

-

Once upon a time, a man found a butterfly that was starting to hatch from its cocoon.

He sat down and watched the butterfly for hours.

It's struggling to force itself through a tiny hole.

Then, it suddenly stopped making progress and looked like it was stuck.

So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and cut off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily.

But it had a swollen body and small shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body so it can fly.

Neither happened!

In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings.

It never was able to fly.

Lesson of the story?

📌 Sometimes, in our desire to help people, especially our loved ones, we don't want to see them struggle so we take the struggle out from their lives instead.

Without realizing that they need to struggle so they can fly.

Wala namang masamang tumulong.

Wala rin namang masamang pagaanin yung burden nila.

But too much helping people won't do good at all.

To you and to them.

Let them struggle.

Let them face their demons and overcome their challenges.

It doesn't mean you're abandoning them.

Or you being selfish.

It's you, actually helping them.

Helping them and supporting them from a far.

So they can have space for growth.

So they can fly.

Remember this story everytime you want to help people and ask yourself.

"Am I really helping them?"

"Will they be able to fly if I help them?"

Be thankful.

Imagine if palaging isa lang breadwinner tas sakanya huhugutin lahat? Imagine the stress, the pagod.

Pag may tumulong sayo, be thankful and Make sure magamit mo sa tama, hindi sa luho bcoz not all the time may handang umalalay sayo. ❤️

Pag hinindian ka naman, still be thankful. ❤️

Baka napagod na kasi sayo. Baka after ka tulungan, puro pangit sinusukli mo. 😊

Doll house

Doll House Netflix

Actually this movie really made me and my wife cry 😂😂😂

Sobrang galing mo dito Baron Geisler

This movie really shows us the reality.

Na at the end of the day pagsisisihan mo nalang lahat ung mga pagkakamaling mga nagawa mo noon.

Why Rustin leave Rotterdam and go back to the Philippines?

For me it's because he knows it's too late, ayaw na nyang guluhin buhay ng anak nya at nahihiya syang lumaki at makilala sya ni Yumi kung sino talaga sya.

Kasi ganun naman talaga, sometimes in our life, we'll just regret for the things we did after it's too late.

Being in a broken family is so hard as a child. It really tears you apart knowing na kulang kayo, wala kang nanay o wala kang tatay, di gaya ng iba kumpleto o buo pamilya.

Kaya if you belong in a complete family be thankful, be thankful kasi kumpleto kayo kasama mo ang mga magulang mo gumabay sayo at nag provide. Not everyone had a chance na makasama, makapiling,o makilala ng buo ang pamilya nila.

Yes masakit, malungkot yung ganung sitwasyon, pero at the end of the day I'm thankful God put me into this kind of situation. Being the eldest maaga ako namulat sa lahat, maaga ako nag mature mag isip and especially this life experience taught me, na kahit ganun naranasan mo in your childhood, you are still blessed, kasi alam mo na eh danas mo na, alam mo na yung pakiramdam ng walang magulang at buong pamilya.

I may not be perfect husband or a father, but i'll do my best to stay and provide for them.

Kaya to all Fathers there like me. But let's all be a real men, and be with our Family.

To all the people that belongs to a broken family, Cheer up! You are blessed dahil you know these things already, you have a chance para baguhin yung nangyari sayo at ibigay yung best para sa magiging pamilya at anak mo.

Sa lahat ng single parent! single mom or single father ka man, o kahit siblings o guardian ka lang ng mga batang product of a broken family. Kudos to you, you did a great job on being a parent to us.

Kaya sobrang thank you MA. Mi Amor Thank you for being strong and always being there for us.

To my second parents/ my in laws. Thank you so much po sa lahat ng support at guidance para sa pamilya namin.

To my wife I love you so much. Kahit pa sabihing promises are meant to be broken daw 😂. I promise that i'll always be here for you and for our son.

Moral lesson.

 TRUE STORY

including their residential house and lot.

*

Ecclesiastes 2:21 (CEV)

When we use our wisdom, knowledge, and skill to get what we own,

why do we have to leave it to someone who didn’t work for it? This is

senseless and wrong.

*

Ecclesiastes 2:18 (CEV)

Suddenly I realized that others would someday get everything I had

worked for so hard, then I started hating it all.

Delikadeza

Jeff (miranda cmpd) - paid house.

Saludo sa lahat ng guro.

 Happy Teachers Day!

Types of Teachers in School

2. Bestieacher - Ito yung teacher na tropa outside the school, sumasama sa walwalan at inuman pero kapag nasa loob ng classroom, who you. Walang tropa-tropa.

Matututo kayong maging on time palagi, at no place for being tamad.

Lol.

7. The clown - Ito yung teacher niyong gusto good vibes lang sa classroom. Kahit korni na yung jokes tawa lang. Asaran.

Matututo kayong mag-present, mag-salita in front of the crowd, at dito madedevelop ang reporting skills niyo. Malaking tulong sa job interviews, presentations sa office, and etc.

Nakapag-ambag man sila ng knowledge sa atin o hindi, they are some of the people that we will never forget.

Dont humiliate.

An old woman meets a young man who asks:

“Do you remember me?”

And the old woman says no. Then the young man tells her he was her student, And the teacher asks:

“What do you do, what do you do in life?”

The young man answers:

“Well, I became a teacher.”

“ah, how good, like me?” Asks the old woman.

“Well, yes. In fact, I became a teacher because you inspired me to be like you.”

The old woman, curious, asks the young man at what time he decided to become a teacher. And the young man tells her the following story:

“One day, a friend of mine, also a student, came in with a nice new watch, and I decided I wanted it.

I stole it, I took it out of his pocket.

Shortly after, my friend noticed the his watch was missing and immediately complained to our teacher, who was you.

Then you addressed the class saying, ‘This student's watch was stolen during classes today. Whoever stole it, please return it.’

I didn't give it back because I didn't want to.

You closed the door and told us all to stand up and form a circle.

You were going to search our pockets one by one until the watch was found.

However, you told us to close our eyes, because you would only look for his watch if we all had our eyes closed.

We did as instructed.

You went from pocket to pocket, and when you went through my pocket, you found the watch and took it. You kept searching everyone's pockets, and when you were done you said ‘open your eyes. We have the watch.’

You didn't tell on me and you never mentioned the episode. You never said who stole the watch either. That day you saved my dignity forever. It was the most shameful day of my life.

But this is also the day I decided not to become a thief, a bad person, etc. You never said anything, nor did you even scold me or take me aside to give me a moral lesson.

I received your message clearly.

Thanks to you, I understood what a real educator needs to do.

Do you remember this episode, professor?

The old professor answered, ‘Yes, I remember the situation with the stolen watch, which I was looking for in everyone’s pocket. I didn't remember you, because I also closed my eyes while looking.’

This is the essence of teaching:

If to correct you must humiliate; you don't know how to teach.”

Mentality

"XIAN, ANO ANG MAIPAPAYO MO SA SUSUNOD NA HENERASYON TOWARDS A SUCCESSFUL LIFE?"

Having a child at a very young age is not a "blessing". Enjoy being "dalaga" and "binata" until you turn 30.

Lack of money is the root of all problems in life.

Money can buy happiness if you spend it right.

95% of what you've learned from grades 1 to 12 is useless in your adulthood.

Your academic grades, awards, medals, and recognitions from elementary to senior high are all insignificant in real life. Its value stays within the four corners of your school.

You don't owe anything to your parents because you are their responsibility until your 18th birthday. But if they still support you after turning 19, "utang na loob" takes place and you need to repay them one day.

Too much drama in life will only lead to poverty. If your family is full of drama, then leave your family.

If you make life decisions based on your emotions, your life will be very miserable, 100% guaranteed.

Too much love for the wrong person will only poison your rational thinking and it will eventually lead to a life that is depressing and with no direction.

Love yourself over anyone else. It's okay to be selfish. There's nothing wrong with that.

Travel around the world while you are young because 1 year of travel is equivalent to 12 years of school education. Travelling will teach you a lot about life, business, and everything under the sun.

If you want to live a happy life, you need to have a perfect balance of everything: work, family, friendship, romance, vices, religion, travel, solitude, etcetera. An imbalanced life is a sad life.

It's very hard to be happy when you don't have money.
