FVR

In the coming days and weeks, many will share stories about Former President Fidel V. Ramos.

Allow me to share my anecdote about how I knew the former President.

FVR was one of my Ninongs when I got married in 1994.

My Dad chose him to be a Ninong. I remember telling my Dad that I would only agree for him to be Ninong, if he attends both the church ceremony and the wedding reception.

Little did I know that my Dad extended my message to FVR🙈

Imagine my embarrassment when he assured me, while having our picture taken at the church, that he would attend our reception. He shared that he cannot always be present at receptions because of his busy schedule. But in our case, he made an exception. And not only did he attend but he stayed as well.

This episode  affirmed that President Ramos was always a gentleman and an officer. He was a patriot that always believed in the Filipino, as a member of the international community.

May his soul rest in peace, and let perpetual light shine upon him🙏🏻

6 step bago bumili ng lupa.

6 Steps Bago Bumili ng Lupa sa Pilipinas

Step 1

Step 4

Within 1 month from notarization, magbabayad ng unang bayad.

Step 6

Basta nakita mo na yan (CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY TO REGISTER), dadalhin mo yan sa Register of Deeds, yun ang huling yugto.

At yan kelangan mo ng follow-up. Dahil nga sa Register of Deeds, medyo tatagal yan. Kaya kelangan ng follow-up ng follow-up.

60

FOR THOSE WHO ARE 60 yrs OLD AND ABOVE PLEASE READ THIS.

This is for you. I really like what is said here and am going to try my best to follow it. Thank you to the person who wrote this. May God bless us all as we strive to be a blessing to others at this age, especially to our children.

LW

🚩Between 60 and death. It's time to use the money you saved up. Use it and enjoy it. Don't just keep it for those who may have no notion of the sacrifices you made to get it. Remember there is nothing more dangerous than a son or daughter-in-law with big ideas for your hard-earned capital.

🚩Warning: This is also a bad time for investments, even if it seems wonderful or fool-proof. They only bring problems and worries. This is a time for you to enjoy some peace and quiet.

🚩Stop worrying about the financial situation of your children and grandchildren, and don't feel bad spending your money on yourself. You've taken care of them for many years, and you've taught them what you could. You gave them an education, food, shelter, and support. The responsibility is now theirs to earn their own money.

🚩Keep a healthy life, without great physical effort. Do moderate exercise (like walking every day), eat well, and get your sleep. It's easy to become sick, and it gets harder to remain healthy. That is why you need to keep yourself in good shape and be aware of your medical and physical needs. Keep in touch with your doctor, do tests even when you're feeling well. Stay informed.

🚩Always buy the best, most beautiful items for your significant other. The key goal is to enjoy your money with your partner. One day one of you will miss the other, and the money will not provide any comfort then, enjoy it together.

🚩Don't stress over the little things. You've already overcome so much in your life. You have good memories and bad ones, but the important thing is the present. Don't let the past drag you down and don't let the future frighten you. Feel good in the now. Small issues will soon be forgotten.

🚩Regardless of age, always keep love alive. Love your partner, love life, love your family, love your neighbor and remember: "A man is not old as long as he has intelligence and affection."

🚩Be proud, both inside and out. Don't stop going to your hair salon or barber, do your nails, go to the dermatologist and the dentist, keep your perfumes and creams well stocked. When you are well-maintained on the outside, it seeps in, making you feel proud and strong.

🚩Don’t lose sight of fashion trends for your age, but keep your own sense of style. You’ve developed your own sense of what looks good on you – keep it and be proud of it. It’s part of who you are.

🚩ALWAYS stay up-to-date. Read newspapers, watch the news. Go online and read what people are saying. Make sure you have an active email account and try to use some of those social networks. You'll be surprised at what old friends you'll meet.

🚩Respect the younger generation and their opinions. They may not have the same ideas as you, but they are the future and will take the world in their direction. Give advice, not criticism, and try to remind them that yesterday's wisdom still applies today.

Never use the phrase: “In my time.” Your time is now. As long as you’re alive, you are part of this time.

🚩Some people embrace their golden years, while others become bitter and surly. Life is too short to waste your days on the latter. Spend your time with positive, cheerful people, it'll rub off on you and your days will seem that much better. Spending your time with bitter people will make you feel older and harder to be around.

🚩Do not surrender to the temptation of living with your children or grandchildren (if you have a financial choice, that is). Sure, being surrounded by family sounds great, but we all need our privacy. They need theirs and you need yours. Even then, do so only if you feel you really need the help or do not want to live by yourself

🚩Don't abandon your hobbies. If you don't have any, make new ones. You can travel, hike, cook, read, dance. You can adopt a cat or a dog, grow a kitchen garden, play cards, checkers, chess, dominoes, golf.

🚩Try to go. Get out of the house, meet people you haven't seen in a while, experience something new (or something old). The important thing is to leave the house from time to time. Go to museums, go walk through a park. Get out there.

🚩Speak in courteous tones and try not to complain or criticize too much unless you really need to. Try to accept situations as they are.

🚩Pains and discomfort go hand in hand with getting older. Try not to dwell on them but accept them as a part of life.

🚩If you've been offended by someone – forgive them. If you've offended someone-apologize. Don't drag around resentment with you. It only serves to make you sad and bitter. It doesn't matter who was right. Someone once said: "Holding a grudge is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die." Don't take that poison. Forgive, forget, and move on with your life.

🚩Laugh. Laugh away your worries Remember, you are one of the lucky ones. You managed to have a life, a long one. Many never get to this age, never get to experience a full life.

My valued friends, enjoy peaceful life at this point in your life ...

Don't worry... be happy. 🥰

Pinoy as presidente.

My biggest peeve about Aquino: he just couldn't let things settle with both the Marcoses and the Arroyos. Yes, they done fucked up. But, damn, son, you don't have to fucking remind us every time you have the chance! -_-

I didn't have a problem with the bus incident and why he didn't apologize because if he did that, he would compromise the country. The fault was on the culprit, not the nation. If he apologized as President of the Republic of the Philippines, he would be putting every Filipino's reputation on the chopping block. Sure, it villified him, but it was necessary. He chose to get the hate from those who do not understand how international policy works. That takes iron balls.

I didn't have a problem with Yolanda. I worked for the government for 5 years. I know it takes years for places to recover from calamities of that magnitude. And it was justified. COA outed Romualdez. The problem was too many people expected miracles and instant solutions and let emotions get in the way of understanding how processes and systems work. Just ask the victims of Hurricane Katrina who are still rebuilding after all this time. U.S. pa yun. Harsh reality: Walang instant maliban sa pancit canton.

I didn't have a problem with SAF44. They were on a mission out on the field. There were errors and miscommunications in the chain of command. There was greed and pride involved which colored decision making. But blaming Aquino? If you don't know how these operations work, particularly this one which was mired with problems, don't fucking throw blame if you don't know the right target.

I didn't have a problem with "Laglag Bala", because I knew it was an underhanded tactic that only showed up conveniently during campaign season. And disappeared just as quickly. If this Modus Operandi was going on before that, you'd fucking better believe it would have spread fast. People on the inside of NAIA are not known for keeping their mouths shut. Tattletales are everywhere there.

I did have a problem with Luisita. More for his silence than anything.

I did have a problem with how he's often slow to address internal administrative concerns, though he did act on them. He could have acted faster and not waste taxpayer's money by axing the problem personnel sooner.

I did have a problem with how he was non-commital to issues about health care professionals' compensation.

I did have a problem when he didn't react to defend himself. Come on, man! Not addressing your critics is ok most of the time, but speak up when it's critical. Being meek doesn't mean to be passive all of the time.

And he was boring for the most part. His jokes were flat. His humor was better suited for Western tastes. And his comic timing was usually off.

But I can't deny the positive, long term results.

The economy was fine; better than fine. The world knew it. Banks knew it. Investors knew it. Under his watch, the sunshine industry of BPOs grew from being a trend to being a reliable industry employing 2 million+. We weren't just relying on our OFW remittances anymore. Heck, minimum fare dropped to P7.00! The last time that happened, Ramos was still the president. Only the people who can't accept the truth denied how stable, even prosperous, the country was. He was the first President in over 30 years that was going to leave the office on a high economic footing, regardless of whoever won the elections.

The armed forces finally got new toys. Take note that Arroyo pretty much derailed any military improvement for nearly 10 years. TEN.FUCKING.YEARS. Aquino addressed that by getting brand new stuff rather than only refurbished gear and hand-me downs. Our fighting forces could actually retire the way-past-their-time assault rifles. Our Air Force got, and continue to get, actual jets that aren't just training props with missiles taped on them. We are getting Frigates, brand new ones, bidded and bought in the next few years. Sure, there's still catching up to do, but thank the man for getting things rolling. Snappy salute!

He had "untouchables" jailed. We don't have to name all of them, but the mere fact it was under his administration that people in high places got their comeuppance, people you never thought would answer for their crimes, is a feat worthy of applause even from his most jaded critics. Heck, ACTUAL DRUG LORDS were jailed (we'll get to the drug problem in a bit). But damn you to hell if you don't recognize there were praiseworthy successes vs. corruption and crime during that time.

And he wisely stood his ground and spat in Communist China's face. Where his predecessors looked up in the sky and pretended it's not their problem, he pushed for recognition in the world arena that the bully dragon would not simply stride uncontested in OUR backyard. And we got support. HEAPS OF SUPPORT. Our neighbors realized they didn't have to let Red China do as it pleases. That singular defiance made us realize again we are of noble, fearless blood.

And, fuck, there was an active DRUG OFFENSIVE. But people don't recall because they aren't named something fancy like OPLAN DOUBLE BARREL ALPHA (which really sounds like a movie starring Derek Dee, Ronald Gan Ledesma, and Mikey Arroyo). Just take a look at all the successful operations done which are documented in news. NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THOSE BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T IN-YOUR-FACE AND FEW CASUALTIES INVOLVED BY COMPARISON TO TODAY. It's idiotic to think just because the "drug war" now is more bombastic that it is more effective. Quite the contrary, if you take off your Duterte covered glasses.

And this was all while he has a bullet in his neck that causes him pain constantly. If you complain about a nagging toothache that prevents you from doing your job, imagine what this guy was going through. That is more masculine than any of Duterte's big talk and misogynist actions vs. women in public.

And the one time he indulged by buying a second hand Porsche out of his own pocket, Filipinos nagged him. Video games, sport shooting, and occasional luxury cars were some of the things that made him happy. And Filipinos DENIED him that. Out of delicadeza, he sold the car and promised the country he would not gift himself of such until his term come 2016 was over. And he kept to that promise. You want honor and ethics? PNoy had bags of them.

And when it was time to step down, Aquino made no fanfare. No grand celebrations of his exit. No midnight appointments. He retired quietly and stayed out of the public eye, content living in his modest home, catching up on little things like being with his nephews and nieces, playing video games, and taking long naps.

No political dynasties left behind. And the one time he was called to the Senate floor, he came early and dignified his presence to face his accusers. No neck brace, nor wheelchair.

Yes, Aquino had faults. LOTS OF THEM. But he never made the country as chaotic and divisive as it is today. And he never compromised our national identity. I'd rather have a boring and lackluster president that has more positive, long term results, than one that is all entertaining bravado and big talk, but has little regard for the laws, lives, and the land he is sworn to protect.

Update 2022: And even in death, he made no grand statements nor drew attention to his condition. Perhaps the only comfort we have is knowing he never got to see the Marcoses return to power... allowed by the very Pilipinos he called "Boss". That would surely have broken his heart.

Some bosses think they have dynamic personalities because they are constantly exploding.  Rude, disrespectful, bullying people around.  However, somebody says, "Rudeness is a weak man's imitation of strength."What people want is inspiring and empowering leaders who are confident and competent. And predictably, these good leaders are humble and respectful. They are admired, not flattered. They are respected and not feared. This is what makes them effective.  #PassionPurposeProductivity

Honor

 HONOR AND EXCELLENCE

'My name is Isaiah Paolo Atienza Lee, and I am not your valedictorian. I am not the best, I am not the brightest, and I am here speaking to you right now because all the other summas backed out. I’m somehow supposed to talk to you about honor and excellence, so let me start with my story.

When I was in first year, I almost got kicked out because of Chem 16. I wasn’t even bad at the class. I just had a habit of scribbling on my forearm during exams, which was—in hindsight, understandably — interpreted as cheating. After an unchecked exam and a lot of stress, I ended up with a diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome. On the whole, it was a less than ideal way to get psychological support and an 1.00 in Chem 16, but I didn’t fail the class, I didn’t get dismissed from UP, and I didn’t jump off a bridge. I could have, but I didn’t. That might not sound a lot like honor and excellence to you, but that’s the point.

The College of Science is made up of brilliant people. We can’t deny that. The College of Science is also made up of people who pretend to be engineering majors when questioned about their student numbers and people who tasted their Chem 16 unknown analysis samples out of desperation. We can’t deny that either. And we all answered our exams on bluebooks that might have varied in paper quality and might have shown different scores, but they all had the same message printed on the front: University of the Philippines, 1908, Bird, Honor, Excellence.

Our valedictorian is Mao Leung. He has a weighted average of 1.0375 and a girlfriend. I do not have a weighted average of 1.0375, and most of you won’t either. I’m not going to talk about who doesn’t have a girlfriend, because this is supposed to be a happy occasion. Mao Leung is a great guy, but we can’t all be like him, and that’s okay.

Prodigies are a curse for those who need a curve on the exam to pass and a blessing for the general public; as a whole, people tend to look at the people with the best averages and pin all the country’s hopes on them, leaving the rest of us to wonder what we’re supposed to do. The truth people have difficulty wrangling with is that not only do we not need a messiah, messiahs cannot solve our problems. This country just needs honor and excellence from every single one of us, every single day. Whatever it is you do, do it well, and do it for the people.

Are you going into a career in science? There might be days when you have to run PCRs from 7 to 12. That’s 7 in the morning to 12 midnight, by the way. Do it. There might be times that your graphs would be publication-worthy if only you could get rid of one annoying data point. Don’t do it. That is honor and excellence.

Are you going into medicine despite your teachers’ laments? You might end up spending most of your nights running on adrenaline and Dunkin’ Donuts because you have to stay in the hospital. Stay. There might be an occasional addict suffering from a shabu overdose that you have to tie down to a stretcher because he won’t stop kicking you. Treat him, and treat him again when he comes back. That is honor and excellence.

Are you going to get a girlfriend because studies first no longer applies? She might be angry at you for no easily identifiable reason. Stay calm, listen, and talk things out rationally. After an argument about taking relationship advice from some guy who was supposed to give a valedictory address, you might see a book she would like. Buy it for her. That is honor and excellence.

Are you going to be a full-time parent because you had a successful relationship? You might proudly send your child to UP only to learn that your precious iskolar ng bayan has turned into a class-cutting, DRP collecting, tuition-burning machine despite your warnings. Wake them up in the morning, give them their allowance, and support them without nagging. See to it that they march and that you get to be with them. That is honor and excellence.

Are you just thinking of going to UPTown Center for a celebratory dinner after this is done? You might have a hard time parking because, wow, that is a lot of people. Don’t hog the disabled parking spaces. You might be hungry because the ceremony was too long and parking was nigh impossible because you left the wheelchair spots alone. Be nice to your waiters. They have names. Address them by name, follow up your orders without snapping at them, and say thank you the way you would like to be thanked for doing a good job. That is honor and excellence.

Are you going to do anything at all in your life? Whatever it is, do it well, and do it for the people. Do it well if doing it well is clocking in 70 hours a week at a world-class research institution. Do it well even if doing it well is just staying awake for five more minutes to finish a chapter or a boring lecture. Do it well when it matters, and do it well even when it doesn’t. And do it for the people. Do it for the people even if you don’t like the people. Do it for the marginalized even when they don’t appreciate it. Do it for the privileged even when they cause Katipunan traffic. Do it for the people whether the person in question is a drug addict in the emergency room or your waiter at UPTown Center or a stranger on the internet or even just yourself, because it’s not about the gratitude, or the credit, or the reward, but about the people, and the work. That is honor and excellence.

The unphotogenic, non-headline-grabbing, narratively-unsupported fact is that large-scale change happens in fits and bursts and stops, and often on a scale you can’t see with an electron microscope. We hold ourselves up to unreasonable standards and are subsequently disappointed most of the time, when what matters is the work we do in increments, the lab hours that we log, and the people we encounter.

You might not make your own transgenic crops, but you can disabuse your family of any erroneous notions they may have about Bt talong. You might not eradicate crime in 3 to 6 months, but you can avoid catcalling. You might not make it to the newspaper’s front page, but you can make it to your mom’s proud parent Facebook post.

We often look to larger-than-life figures to celebrate honor and excellence, from Miss Universe to near-perfect-GWA graduates. I’m not saying it’s wrong to do so, but I believe the first place to seek it is within ourselves.

My name is Isaiah Paolo Atienza Lee. I am not the best, but I am good enough, I am not the brightest, but I am a UP graduate, and I am not your valedictorian, but I am going to tell you all to go out there and show the world what we’ve got."

Ang laki ng kita.

Ang laki ng kinita namin 43k a month! 🤑🤑

Dami kong nakikitang posts about negosyo.

43,000 a month!

Tapos less natin

- rent 5,000

- Two employees 18,000

- Electricity 1,000

- water 100

- load 500

- 5,000 sa mga supplies (estimate nila)

= 13,400 😍

OH DIBA? ANG LAKI! PANO NAGING LUGI?

Eto yung nakalimutan nila

- Accounting fees P2,000

- Rent tax P250

- Mandatories nila P2,130

- 13th month pay nila P1,500

- Sales Taxes P1,290

- Supplies (40% of gross) = 17,200

NEGATIVE -P1,710!!!!

NEGATIVE -P1,710!!!!

NEGATIVE -P1,710!!!!

Hayup sa laki ng kinita ah! 🤣

Meron pang hindi ko maisama ngayon.

- Depreciation cost

- Income tax

- Potential emergencies.

- Marketing expense.

Thank you Lord for using us to bless others.

Marami pang involved dyan.

Good luck po sa mga magnenegosyo ngayong 2022!

Ctto.

Land title

 KNOWLEDGE 101‼️

🔸️LAND TITLE VS TAX DECLARATION 🔸️

The Difference between the Certificate of Title versus Tax Declaration in the Philippines

🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻

CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

1. A document evidencing a right of ownership to a property

2. A document that attest to the fact that the person named is the owner of the property described therein subject to liens and encumbrances noted on it

3. It is registered with the Register of Deeds of the province or city where the land is located

4.The Certificate of Title is indefeasible and imprescriptible

5. All claims to the land are quieted upon issuance of this document

6. Recorded with the Register of Deeds of the municipality, city, or province where the land is located.

🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻

TAX DECLARATION

1. A document that show good sign of possession only in the concept of owner, not ownership

2. Not conclusive evidence of ownership to property, but only a proof of payment of realty taxes

3. Recorded with the Assessor’s Office of every municipality or city where the land is located

▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️

Ayon sa maraming Supreme Court decisions “the best proof of ownership of a piece of land is the Certificate of Title” (Halili vs. Court of Industrial Relations, 257 SCRA 174 [1996]).

Maraming Supreme Court decision din ang nagsasabi na "Tax declarations and receipts are not conclusive evidence of ownership. At most, they constitute mere prima facie proof of ownership of the property for which taxes have been paid. In the absence of actual, public and adverse possession, the declaration of the land for tax purposes does not prove ownership." Ibig sabihin nito na ang tax declaration ay hindi siguradong ebidensiya ng pagmamay-ari ng lupa. While tax declarations and receipts are not conclusive evidence of ownership and do not prove title to the land.

▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️

Meditate. Laban lang.

 5 days to go.

I decided to meditate and refelct on something that I’m grateful for everyday till I celebrate  my birthday just to remind myself of God’s goodness and faithfulness in my life.

I woke up today with the sad news that someone I know has passed away. It once again reminded me that we are here on earth just on borrowed time.

Life may sometimes be difficult and tough, but just like with anything, it passes. There’s a season of breaking, but there’s also a season of breakthrough. So reminder to self, pag may pinagdadaanan, daanan lang. ‘Wag tambayan. Lilipas din yan. Do not dwell. Do not complain. Kasi sabi nga, habang may buhay, may pag asa.

Thank you, Lord! 🙏

So today, I’m most grateful to be alive and that I get to spend today with the people I love! ♥️

Slower older and smarter

An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 500 mph at 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter with a Tempo Mach 2 appears.

The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: "Airbus, boring flight isn’t it? Now have a look here!"

He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, and then swoops down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks, "Well, how was that?"

The Airbus pilot answers: "Very impressive, but watch this!"

The jet pilot watches the Airbus, but nothing happens. It continues to fly straight, at the same speed. After 15 minutes, the Airbus pilot radios, "Well, how was that?

Confused, the jet pilot asks, "What did you do?"

The AirBus pilot laughs and says, "I got up, stretched my legs, walked to the back of the aircraft to use the washroom, then got a cup of coffee and a chocolate fudge pastry.

The moral of the story is:  When you’re young, speed and adrenaline seems to be great. But as you get older and wiser, you learn that comfort and peace are more important.

This is called S.O.S.: Slower, Older and Smarter.

Dedicated to all my friends who, like me, as seniors, we now realize that it’s time to slow down and enjoy the rest of the trip.

Retired

 R E T I R E M E N T

1. One day you will retire. You won't be going to work. You won’t have office power any more. No influence or at best, a reduced influence. Your cash flow will also reduce! Check retirement date on your payslip.

2. Always go for your 30days annual leave. Whatever you do during your leave, is what you will be doing when you retire. If all you do is to sleep or watch TV, then that’s what you are likely do do in your retirement. Remember the book of Proverbs. A little sleep and a little slumber, so shall your poverty multiply.

Watching Big Brother will not save you heartache in retirement. Learn a trade or a skill during your leave. It will come handy. Spend your after-office hours learning something. Don’t spend it sleeping, Gossiping, watching TV!! Same goes for your weekend. Make them productive. You will thank yourself for spending your time productively.

3. Invest for your retirement... your children are not retirement investment. Don’t bank on your children’s support or the support of friends or relations. That’s a BIG risk. It may not happen. Be ready to take care of yourself!! Everyone has his own responsibilities. They won’t be able to help you that much. You will also lose your dignity and respect if you adopt a life of begging.

4. Start a hobby early in your working days to take you along when you retire. Rearing chicken, farming or own a shop. Acquire marketable skills (not useless paper certificates), etc.

5. Where shall you retire. Build yourself a home. Don't retire and start to rent a house or refuse to vacate government house. You will be at the mercy of your landlord at a time when your cash flow is not only reduced but unpredictable!!

6. Who shall be your dependants. By the time you retire, your children should be above 18, and self reliant.

7. Don't retire and stay in a big city unless you can TRULY afford it. You can't continue living in a big city after 60 with limited financial resources. The language and the hustle will be hard for you. Where possible, Relocate to a less expensive town where your reduced take home (pension) can go further.

8. Have property which can be rented or converted into cash. Have shares that pay good dividends. Plant cash trees. Rear goats, cultivate vegetables etc. these activities will not only give you income but will also keep you healthy.

9. Live a simple life. If you never built a house at your rural home, dont use your retirement package to build. It is unwise unless you plan to live there on a permanent basis or you are super rich and therefore can afford the luxury. The choice is yours.

Note that many of retirees die early because of the following:

1. They are Not mentally prepared to retire.

2. Lack of finances

3. They Lapse into Depression

4. They develop Hypertension/ Diabetes because of worries, anxiety and uncertainty and financial pressures.

YOUR DESK AT YOUR WORK PLACE IS NOT PERMANENT. PLAN FOR YOUR RETIREMENT.

Lesson

 𝙇𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨

Take some moments and learn from the ants.

With their heavy load, they make it a point to stop and greet one another. You know what they tell one another?

"Carry on, you are doing well!"

They ENCOURAGE one another. They do not put down each other.

There is yet one lesson we can learn from the ants:

I have never seen a group of ants sitting around, playing cards, or taking it easy while the others are working.   They all work hard, and they work together as a team.

A MOMENT WITH THE LORD

Lord, help me not be stingy with praise and affirmation, and help me to appreciate the value of work and the beauty of teamwork. Amen.

A MOMENT WITH THE WORD

"Help carry one another's burden; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Wealth a state of mind.

MY DAUGHTER IS NOT GOING TO MARRY A POOR.🥴

Bill Gates explains why his daughter can't marry a poor man.

A few years ago, I attended a conference in the United States on investing and finance. One of the speakers was Bill Gates and in the question and answer phase I asked a question that had everyone laughing.

If he, one of the richest men in the world, could allow his daughter to marry a poor or modest man?

Bill replied:

First, understand that wealth does not mean having a bank account with lots of money.

Wealth is first and foremost the ability to create wealth.

Example: Someone who wins money in lottery or gambling. Even winning 100 million, he is not a rich man, he is a poor man with lots of money. This is why 90% of lottery millionaires are poor again after 5 years.

You also have rich people who have no money. Example: most entrepreneurs. They are already on the road to wealth, even if they have no money, because they are developing their financial intelligence and that is wealth.

How are the rich and the poor different?

If you see a young man who decides to graduate, to learn new things, continually trying to improve himself, know that he is a rich man.

If you see a young person who thinks the problem is the state, and believes that the rich are all thieves and is constantly criticizing, know that he is poor.

The rich people are convinced that they only need information and training to start, the poor think that others should give them money to start.

As a conclusion, when I say that my daughter will not marry a poor man, I am not talking about money. I'm talking about this man's ability to create wealth.

Sorry for what I'm about to say, but most criminals are poor. When they are in front of money, they lose their minds, that's why they steal, rob, etc.

For them, it is a grace, because they do not know how they could earn money themselves.

One day, a bank guard found a bag full of money, took it, and gave it back to the bank manager.

People called this man an idiot, but in reality this man was just a rich man who had no money.

1 year later, the bank offered him a job as a receptionist, 3 years later he was in charge of customers and 10 years later, he managed the regional management of this bank. Now he manages hundreds of employees and his annual bonuses exceed the value he could have stolen.

Wealth is first and foremost a state of mind, my friend.

My biggest
