Salute to our farmers.

FARMERS ARE NOT POOR.
They are perfectly capable of providing their own foods.  In fact unlike most of us they don't need to depend on anyone, they produce and grow not just their own foods but also the foods on your table (so try to be a little bit grateful).

FARMERS ARE NOT LAZY.
They are one of the most industrious people I know. They woke up at 3am, works on the field under a scorching sun for hours and has to take care of their families and homes at the same time (they don't spend their whole day in front of a gadget,  try to show some appreciation).

FARMERS ARE NOT DEMANDING.
They dont need to demand for support from the government because they have the right to receive those support. Farmers play an essential  role in our economy.

IN FACT, AGRICULTURE is the BACKBONE of every Nation, and the state MUST recognize that, thats why they SHOULD BE PRIOTIZED in helping them.

FARMERS ARE NOT DUMB!
They navigate and calculate without any instruments.  They may have no degree but these people taught themselves from experience, called WISDOM. They may be old-fashioned but their logic and wisdom is unquestionable (plus sense of humor, so show some respect!)

Eczema home treatment.

Eczema Home Treatment

Home Remedies for Eczema

Home remedies for eczema may be as simple as changing your laundry detergent or fabric softener or as difficult as moving to a new climate or changing jobs. Removing whatever is causing the allergic reaction is the easiest and most effective treatment.

Prevent dry skin by taking lukewarm (not hot) showers or baths for no longer than 10-15 minutes. Use a mild soap or body cleanser. Dry yourself very carefully (pat yourself dry, instead of rubbing vigorously) and apply moisturizing skin lotions all over your body.

Avoid lotions with fragrances or other irritating substances. (Avoid wool/mohair and other irritating fibers)

Avoid wearing tight-fitting, rough, or scratchy clothing.

Avoid scratching the rash . If you can't stop yourself from scratching, cover the area with a dressing. Wear gloves at night to minimize skin damage from scratching.

Anything that causes sweating can irritate the rash.

Avoid strenuous exercise during a flare.

If the allergy-causing agent cannot be removed or identified, the next step is to lessen the allergic inflammatory response.

Apply a nonprescription steroid cream (hydrocortisone ) along with anti- itching lotion (menthol/camphor, such as calamine ). The cream must be applied as often as possible without skipping days until the rash is gone.

Diphenhydramine (Benadryl ) in pill form may be taken for the itching . Caution - you should not take this medication if you need to drive a car or operate machinery, as it will make you sleepy. You may want to try loratadine (Claritin) or xyzal (levocetirizine) as they are non-sedating.

Clean the area with a hypoallergenic soap every day. Apply lubricating cream or lotion after washing.

Avoid physical and mental stress. Eating right, light activity, and adequate sleep will help you stay healthy, which can help prevent flares.

Do not expect a quick response. Eczema is easier to control than cure.

"There are only 2,000 policemen and 100 AFP personnel available for deployment. A ratio of 1:2,100," sabi ni Remulla sa kaniyang post.

"Kung isara po ang lahat ng palengke at supermarket ay may implikasyon, approximately 12% of the homes in Cavite (12% of 1,000,000 homes is 120,000) have no refrigerators.

"The LGUs cannot feed 4,500,000 people for 14-15 days. We have been doing our best for the past 5 1/2 weeks. That would mean 180,000 cavans costing 3,600,000,000 pesos. As is, the mayors are stretched to the limit in their capacity to provide," aniya.

Doing my part in times of COVID19.

I wear a mask in public, not for me, but for YOU. I want you to know that I am educated enough to know that I could be asymptomatic and still give you the virus. No, I don’t “live in fear” of the virus, I just want to be a part of the solution, not the problem. I don’t feel like the “government is controlling me”, I feel like I’m being a contributing adult to society and I want to teach children the same.

I want them to grow up just as I did knowing that the world doesn’t revolve around me. That it’s not all about me and my comfort. That if we all could live with other people’s consideration in mind, this whole world would be a much better place. Wearing a mask doesn’t make me weak, scared, stupid or even “controlled,” it makes me considerate. When you think about how you look, or how uncomfortable it is or what others think of you, just imagine someone close to you....a Father, a Mother, Grandparent, sibling, cousin or friend - alone and fighting for their life or on a respirator/ventilator. Then ask yourself if you could have sacrificed a little for them. 🥰😷

Facts about Cholesterol - Basahin...

Facts About Cholesterol
1. Your body has a built-in cholesterol factory. It’s called your liver. The human body needs cholesterol to function properly, but your liver can make all the cholesterol you need, even if you consume no dietary cholesterol at all. Problems start when you eat too much saturated fat and your body makes too much of the LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol, which can then turn into the plaque that lines (and eventually clogs) your arteries.
2. Cholesterol fuels your sex drive. That’s no myth — you have cholesterol to thank for making the sex hormones testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. You wouldn’t want to live without it! In fact, you couldn’t live without it, as cholesterol is also a vital component of cell membranes — think of it as one of your body’s building blocks — and it also plays a role in digestion by helping your liver make the acids needed to digest fat.
3. Pregnant women have naturally high cholesterol levels. During pregnancy, a woman’s total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol reach high levels. This is an important part of making a baby, so it’s not a concern unless cholesterol remains high after giving birth. According to research published in the Journal of Brain Development comparing imaging tests of babies born early to those born on time, the good form of cholesterol, HDL or high-density lipoprotein, appears to play a leading role in helping babies form healthy brains. Other research shows that breast milk, which is naturally rich in cholesterol, may offer heart health security later in life — studies have found that breastfed babies may have lower cholesterol levels as adults, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.
4. Infant formula has added cholesterol. To better mimic breast milk, baby formula includes a variety of vitamins, minerals, and, yes, fats, some of which contain cholesterol. Some studies, however, show that the more important additions to formula are the fatty acids in breast milk, like DHA.
5. Children can have high cholesterol. If you thought high cholesterol could only be a problem for middle-aged adults, you’re wrong. Even children’s cholesterol can reach unhealthy levels.
6. The average cholesterol level among adult is 200 mg/dL, considered borderline high by the American Heart Association (AHA). But the idea that everyone should strive for the same number is a cholesterol myth. Everyone is different, so talk so to your doctor about setting your goal cholesterol levels. True high cholesterol is defined as over 240 mg/dL, according to the AHA, and numbers higher than that double your heart disease risk.
7. You can see cholesterol in your eyes. White rims around the cornea of the eyes are a sign of cholesterol buildup, though they don’t necessarily indicate a heart problem. However, visible fatty lumps of cholesterol under the skin on the eyelids (known as xanthelasma) may predict future heart issues. Researchers found a strong link between these lumps and heart disease or a heart attack five years later.
8. Cholesterol looks a lot like fat. Though we tend to think of high blood cholesterol as just a number from a blood test, the cholesterol lines your arteries, these deposits tend to be yellow with a white covering, much like fat.
9. Cholesterol may protect your skin. Early skin treatment research indicates that cholesterol added as an ingredient in moisturizers could help protect skin from UV damage.
10. The National Cholesterol Education Program recommends cholesterol screenings every five years after age 20. About one in four people have never had a cholesterol check.

STOP... CAUTION... GO!

Symptoms of High Cholesterol Levels in the Bloodstream

Detecting or determining the symptoms of high cholesterol levels in the bloodstream may probably a great deal. However, elevated cholesterol levels can lead to atherosclerosis and also the symptoms of cardiovascular disease.

Too much cholesterol can make the arteries become narrow and hardened. It means that the elasticity of the arteries simply disappears and it becomes more difficult for blood to flow through. It means that high cholesterol levels can form a plaque that can rupture which is causing the blood to clot around the rupture. In other words, if the blood cannot flow through to a part of the body, the tissue dies.

High cholesterol levels can lead to cardiovascular disease. There are a number of symptoms of this kind of condition. The arteries that supply the blood to lower limbs are blocked by a plaque of cholesterol. It can cause leg pain when walking or running. Again, LEG PAIN WHEN WALKING OR RUNNING!

The effect will be more serious if the plaque completely blocks the arteries. In the meantime, high cholesterol levels in arteries that link to the brain can cause angina and heart attack. In addition, it can also lead to reduced heart function if the heart muscle is pretty much damaged.

High cholesterol levels in the arteries in the neck can lead to stroke or repeated mini strokes or also known as transient ischemic attacks. It is because the brain needs sufficient blood to function properly. Since the blood flow is blocked by the plaque formed by cholesterol, the brain cannot get enough blood supply. There are also other symptoms or effects of high cholesterol levels. These include problems in the aorta which is the main artery in the chest and abdomen, problems in kidney arteries, and also in intestinal vessels.

NOTE:
Check your blood cholesterol regularly.

O ETO PA.. LAMAN UTAK DIN ETO SA MGA DI MAKA MOVE ON....👊👊👊BE THANKFUL NA DI IKAW NAKATANGGAP.. IT MEANS ONLY ONE THING ... YOU ARE BLESSED🤝

P50.00 per year.

So Insentive Daw

Up to a point, may point naman sila.
Pero NASA TUMITINGIN YAN.
MARAMI RIN NAMANG KULANG SA FOOD KAHIT NOONG HINDI PA CRISIS.
Nung nagka-crisis nga ay may mga nagka-supplies and cash from the govt and private citizens --- na dati wala naman.

So, kung lumiligaya kang mag-post, go ahead.
You are one less candidate for depression.

Balisa at maaaring hirap matulog ngayong may kinakaharap tayong krisis. Sana makatulong itong post ko.

Just sharing…

Short-term treatment for insomnia, anxiety or panic attacks lang mga yan.

Alternative medicine is used in place of conventional medicine in dealing with stress. Conventional western medicine will only alleviate the symptoms not treat the cause.

Isang magandang halimbawa, may naging pasyente akong 67 years old na ginang na hindi makatulog ng maayos for almost 5 years.

(mommy crying so hard while narrating)

That’s one alternative medicine I learned through years of medical practice.

Kaya wag kayo matakot dahil sa panahon ngayon it’s okay not to be okay.

Faith 🙏

When engineers do good Cielo Habito

Engineering is a profession I actually found myself seriously thinking I should have pursued instead, at a time I was about to complete my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, major in Agricultural Economics, at the University of the Philippines-Los Baños. Having studied at the Philippine Science High School, I was among those who strayed off from a career path in “hard” science, as our mentors apparently envisaged for us, going instead into the social sciences. An engineering course and career would have fulfilled that, but the pull in that direction came a bit too late for me to redirect my career without substantial cost and disruption.

Not that I regret being an economist. I’ve seen too many engineers, and scientists in general, miss looking at the economics of their inventions, then wonder why the product of their hard work has remained in the pages of scientific journals, or stuck in prototypes, rather than used and adopted. But neither can we economists claim to have all the answers. To my mind, it is when engineering knowledge and economic intuition come together that the product of an engineer’s mind truly helps uplift human lives.

One can certainly say that with the Bravura

Maghintay ka lamang sung by Roel Manlangit.

Huwag kang iiwas, pag-nabibigo
Dapat nga lumaban ka
Ang kaylangan mo'y tibay ng loob
Kung mayrong pag-subok man
Ang liwanag ay di magtatagal,
At muling mamamasdan

Sad truth that need to be reflected after Covid-19.

Repost:

sadly but 100% true hindi po nakakain ang bahay na bato at gate. nagugutom din po ang mga taong nakatira sa mga Subdivision be Fair po sana, No Work No Pay din po kmi.. sa COVID19 apektado rin kami..

An open letter to the government:

And with all our hearts, naappreciate namin yan.

Dahil may ipon? May naitatabi pa?

Kbye.

Death.

Death
BY JOE BRAINARD

Death is a funny thing. Most people are afraid of it, and yet
they don't even know what it is.
Perhaps we can clear this up.

What is death?

Death is it. That's it. Finished. "Finito." Over and out. No
more.
Death is many different things to many different people. Ithink it is safe to say, however, that most people don't like it.

Why?

Because they are afraid of it.

Why are they afraid of it?

Because they don't understand it.

I think that the best way to try to understand death is to think about it a lot. Try to come to terms with it. Try to really
understand it. Give it a chance!

Sometimes it helps if we try to visualize things.

Try to visualize, for example, someone sneaking up behind your back and hitting you over the head with a giant hammer.

Some people prefer to think of death as a more spiritual thing. Where the soul somehow separates itself from the mess
and goes on living forever somewhere else. Heaven and hell being the most traditional choices.

Death has a very black reputation but, actually, to die is a perfectly normal thing to do.

And it's so wholesome: being a very important part of nature's big picture. Trees die, don't they? And flowers?

I think it's always nice to know that you are not alone. Even in death.

Let's think about ants for a minute. Millions of ants die
every day, and do we care? No. And I'm sure that ants feel the same way about us.

But suppose—just suppose—that we didn't have to die.
That wouldn't be so great either. If a 90-year-old man can hardly stand up, can you imagine what it would be like to be 500 years old?

Another comforting thought about death is that 80 years or so after you die nobody who knew you will still be alive to miss you.

And after you're dead, you won't even know it.

6 Car Problems that Can Develop During Quarantine

We all know that car maintenance is important, but did you know that car maintenance is even more important during lockdown, self-quarantine and stay-at-home orders?
Let's take a look at a few car problems that can develop during quarantine and what you can do to avoid these problems.

Weak Battery

The first thing that you will notice if you don't use your car for an extended time is that the battery will get weak. The engine will struggle to turn over, or in some cases, a dead battery will prevent you from starting the car.

Even when your car is parked and not in use, the battery itself is still in use, which means the battery is slowly discharging. A small current, typically in the 200-600 mA range, is drawn by one or more modules such as the security system and door lock module. This is normal and is not a problem when the car is parked for only a few days.
This becomes an issue when you leave the car parked for weeks, which can be the case during the quarantine.
When you try to start the vehicle, you may hear the engine turning over very slowly, or even worse, you may hear a click, click, click from the starter. These are symptoms of a weak battery. You may need to jump-start your vehicle or simply use a portable Lithium Jump Starter to get the car running again.
Here are some tips that can help you prevent your car battery from discharging.

The cheapest solution is to drive the vehicle once a week or keep it running at idle outside (not inside the garage) for at least 20 minutes a couple of times a week. This will allow the alternator to charge the battery. Doing this regularly every week is enough to charge the battery in cars that have a good battery and no electrical issues.

The ideal solution, especially if your car battery is over three years old, is to connect a trickle charger and keep the battery fully charged at all times. You can connect the trick charger to the jump-starting terminals that most newer cars have in the engine bay.

Otherwise, connect the red clamp on the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the frame, ground point, or unpainted bolt. Set the charger at 12 volts and the charge rate between 1 to 5 A and plug it into a wall outlet.
smart 12-volt trickle charger will keep your car battery fully charged for as long as you need it without overcharging it.

Rusted Rotors

Rusted rotors while car parked during quarnatine pandemic
Rotors will start to rust as you leave your car parked for an extended time. While this is normal, you should try to avoid rust buildup on any car parts, including rotors, whenever possible.
Driving the car once a week for a few minutes will keep rotor rust levels down.
You don't need to remove the rotors or take them to an auto repair shop. Drive the car carefully, and as you drive the vehicle, the brake pads will remove the surface rust from the rotor. At first, the brake pads may make a rubbing sound which should quieten as you drive.
Depending on how long the car has been parked during the pandemic, it may take a few hundred miles for the rust to come off the rotors completely.

Low Tire Pressure

Flat tire during quantine
Another widespread issue that we notice with cars that are parked for an extended period, as is the case during quarantine, is low tire pressure.
Flat tire during quarantine
Driving with low tire pressure can damage the tire sidewall and will require the tire to be replaced.
To inflate a car tire at home is very easy. Grab a 12 Volt Tire Inflator and plug it in the cigarette outlet, or if it has a build-in battery, just turn it on. You will be able to inflate a tire in about 5 to 10 minutes. If you have to plug it in the cigarette outlet, it is essential to keep the engine running while you inflate the tire to avoid draining the car battery. If the vehicle is inside a garage, keep the area well ventilated and the garage door open while the car is running.
It is essential to inflate the tires to the recommended pressure, which for most cars, is 35 PSI. To find out the recommended tire pressure for your vehicle open the driver's door or the fuel door, and you will see a sticker that shows the recommended tire pressure.
Recommended tire pressure
Tire inflators can be purchased online or at most local auto parts stores, assuming you can find one open, and you are allowed to go out.

Tire Dry Rot

Tire Dry Rot
Another crucial reason why you need to move your car once a week is to avoid tire dry rot. If the vehicle is not moved, the tires can dry rot or create a flat spot where tire contacts the ground. If you can't drive the car during the quarantine, at a minimum, move the vehicle forward or backward a couple of feet once a week.
Inactivity during quarantine, low tire pressure, and excessive heat are the primary culprits that cause car tires to dry rot.

Fluid Leaks May Develop

Oil leaks
Coolant and oil leaks may be more noticeable now that the car has been parked for several days or weeks, especially on high mileage cars.
Drive the car back a few feet, turn it off, and inspect the ground. Make sure there are no oil puddles. A couple of oil drips may be acceptable for an older car, while newer vehicles that are under warranty should not have any oil leaks.

    Oil Will Breakdown

ENgine oil break down during quarantine
Oil break down happens over time regardless wither the car is being used or not. It is recommended to change the oil every three months or six months, depending on oil type.
Synthetic oils generally don't need to be changed as often as conventional oils because they don't break down as quickly.
When it comes to the oil change during the pandemic, it is crucial to change the oil based on the recommended time interval, not mileage. Look at the oil sticker that is on the windshield. It will have a distance limit and a due date.
Change the engine oil by the due date even if you have not driven many miles.  Especially if you are using conventional oil that needs to be changed every 3000 miles or every three months.
Luxury cars such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW have much longer service intervals, typically over 10,000 miles. These manufacturers monitor the condition of the oil and display a warning on the dashboard when the oil needs to be replaced. If you are not sure when you need to change your engine oil, call your closest dealer or mechanic and ask for their advice.

Getting your car back on the road after quarantine

    Car won't start after quarantine
A car, truck, or SUV needs to be maintained even during quarantine when the vehicle is not in use. If it is not, you better get your jumper cables ready or get that jump box fully charged.
If basic maintenance is ignored, the battery may drain, rotors may rust, fluids can leak, and other issues can develop, which can end up as costly repairs down the road.
While it is ok to keep the car parked in the garage or driveway for weeks, following these simple steps can help you keep your vehicle in excellent condition.
Before you get your car back on the road, it is important to check fluid levels as well.
    Check engine oil level.
Before you start the engine, open the hood and check the engine oil level.
    Check the engine coolant level.
    Check engine coolant level
Check the engine coolant level as well before you start the engine. Do not open the radiator cap if the engine is hot.
    Check power steering fluid.
Check power steering fluid during quaratnine
Check the power steering fluid level too. It is preferred to check the power steering fluid level after the engine has warmed up, but it can also be checked when the engine is cold. Vehicles with electric power steering will not have a power steering fluid reservoir. Skip this step.
    Check transmission fluid level.
    Check transmission fluid level
If your vehicle has a transmission dipstick, check the transmission fluid level as well. Not all cars have a transmission dipstick. You should check the level before you start the engine.
Then drive for 15 to 20 minutes making sure to shift between all the gears and recheck the transmission fluid level to get an accurate reading.
All car manufacturers, including Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Jeep, recommend checking these fluid levels when the vehicle is parked for an extended time as is the case during a pandemic.
As you start to drive the car, you may hear a rubbing sound coming from the brake pads and rotors, which is normal and should go away after 20 to 25 minutes of driving. See a mechanic if the noise is still present after driving for at least 50 miles.
These tips will not only help keep your car in great shape but also extend the life of your vehicle components such as tires, battery, and engine. Ignoring them may mean that in addition to needing a jump-start, the life span of your battery and tires may be shorter than expected.

    NABASA KO PO ITO KANINA,
    MAY POINT TALAGA SIYA🤔
#Credit to the owner of this❤️

Itong covid na ito maam and sir? Sobrang mahal nito gamutin ng gobyerno. Kung sa Philippines it worth 300k. 300thousand is already big money to the ordinary people. So sa balita nakakatakot isipin na madami ang namamatay sa kanila but government has to decide wisely between death and life. The most practical decision is death. Why makes effort? if at the end effort and expenses hindi mapapakinabangan ng government.

So tayo dito mahirap na bansa. Masakit ang word na mahirap pero we have to accept the reality na tayo ito talaga tayo. Kasi tayo mahirap at nanadito tayo sa ASEAN country na very emotional at strong family ties. So ang ating gobyerno kahit halos walang maibuga nagsusumikap upang mabuhay tayong lahat. We should be thankful to that. Huwag nating hintayin na mamili ang ating government between life and death kasi alam nyo ba kung ano ang last hope? DEATH...

Come to think of it... we are almost 115 million population. So ano may solusyon sa kahirapan? So leşs people less problem...so huwag ninyong antayin na egive-up tayo ng government. Kaya stay at home if you want to be alive!

Syempre its their duty to protect us...ang may matinong pag-iisip hindi agad2x gigive-up at ang virus kailangang mapigilan kaya nga nagdecide ng lockdown.

World is business. You will be remembered in few months but in the rest of time you will be forgotten. Kaya, be moderate and follow the rules and do only your duty.

So stay home and be safe un ay kung gusto mo pang mabuhay.

    About COVID19

    Copied:
    COVID19 DETAILS ...
The virus is not a living organism, but a protein molecule (DNA) covered by a protective layer of lipid (fat), which, when absorbed by the cells of the ocular (eye), nasal (Nose) or buccal mucosa (Mouth), changes their genetic code (mutation) and convert them into aggressor and multiplier cells.

Since the virus is not a living organism, but a protein molecule, it is not killed, but decays on its own.  The disintegration time depends on the temperature, humidity and type of material where it lies.

The virus is very fragile;  the only thing that protects it is a thin outer layer of fat.  That is why any soap or detergent is the best remedy, because the foam CUTS the FAT (that is why you have to rub so much: for 20 seconds or more, to make a lot of foam).  By dissolving the fat layer, the protein molecule disperses and breaks down on its own.

HEAT melts fat;  this is why it is so good to use water above 25 degrees Celsius for washing hands, clothes and everything.  In addition, hot water makes more foam and that makes it even more useful.

Alcohol or any mixture with alcohol over 65% DISSOLVES ANY FAT, especially the external lipid layer of the virus.

Any mixture with 1 part of bleach and 5 parts of water directly dissolves the protein, breaks it down from the inside.

NO BACTERICIDE IS USEFUL.  The virus is not a living organism like bacteria;  you cannot kill what is not alive with antibiotic.

NEVER shake used or unused clothing, sheets or rag  while it is glued to objects and surfaces, the virus is very inert and disintegrates only between 3 to 4 hours (fabric and surfaces). If you shake it or use a feather or dry duster, the virus molecules float in the air for up to 3 to 4 hours, and can lodge in your nose.

The virus molecules remain very stable or active in external cold or air conditioners in houses and cars.

    (...removed this part)

The virus CANNOT go through healthy skin.

Vinegar is NOT useful because it does not break down it's protective layer of fat.

NEITHER SPIRITS, NOR VODKA, NOT USEFUL.  The strongest vodka is 40% alcohol, and you need 65%.

LISTERINE  IS USEFUL!  It is 65% alcohol.

The more confined the space, the more concentration of the virus there can be.  The more open or naturally ventilated, the less.

This is very important. You have to wash your hands before and after touching your face, food, locks, knobs, switches, remote control, cell phone, watches, computers, desks, TV, etc.  And when using the toilet.

Also keep your NAILS SHORT so that the virus does not hide there.

    MAY GOD KEEP US SAFE
Copied this from some one's wall. Very informative.

    Difference

HERE IS A COMMENT FROM A PSYCHOLOGIST REGARDING THE STATE OF PHILIPPINES

Pag nabasa mo ang kabuuan nito please share and like.)

The difference between the poor and rich nations is not the age of the Nation.

This can be demonstrated by countries like India and Egypt, which are more than 2000 years old and are still poor countries.

On the other hand, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, which 150 years back were insignificant, today are developed and rich countries.

The difference between the poor and rich nation does not also depend on the available natural resources.

Japan has limited territory, 80% mountainous, unsuitable for agriculture or farming, but is the second in worlds economy. The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw material from the whole world and exporting manufactured products.

Second example is Switzerland, it does not grow cocoa but produces the best chocolates in the world. In her small territory she rears animals and cultivates the land only for four month in a year, nevertheless manufactures the best milk products. A small country which is an image of security which has made it the strongest world bank.

Executives from rich countries who interact with their counterparts from poor countries show no significant intellectual differences.

The racial or colour factors also do not evince importance: migrants heavy in laziness in their country of origin are forcefully productive in rich European countries.

    What then is the difference?

The difference is the attitude of the people, moulded for many years by education and culture.

When we analyse the conduct of the people from the rich and developed countries, it is observed that a majority abide by the following principles of life:

    1. Ethics, as basic principles.
    2. Integrity.
    3. Responsibility.
    4. The respect for Laws and Regulations.
    5. The respect from majority of citizens by right.
    6. The love for work.
    7. The effort to save and invest.
    8. The will to be productive.
    9. Punctuality.

In the poor countries a small minority follow these basic principles in their daily life.

We are not poor because we lack natural resources or because nature was cruel towards us.

We are poor because we lack attitude.

We lack the will to follow and teach these principles of working of rich and developed societies.

WE ARE IN THIS STATE BECAUSE
WE WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OVER EVRYTHING AND EVERYONE.

WE ARE IN THIS STATE BECAUSE
    WE SEE SOMETHING DONE WRONG
AND SAY - “LET IT BE”
WE SHOULD HAVE A SPIRITED MEMORY AND ATTITUDE…

ONLY THEN WILL WE BE ABLE TO CHANGE OUR PRESENT STATE.

If you love our country PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 circulate this message so that as many people can reflect on this.

    The Empress stock story.

Tapos maiinis ako nun kung sino ba nagpost nun, naka Facebook analysis din ako that time.

Im not even sure before if this is my passion, hindi ko din naisip na “What if I fail..” Remember, you are your own biggest fan.

It is true, Hard work will never betray you.

    Guillen Rocher

    Low purine diet guide.

    Sardinas, bagoong at alamang
    ● Kabute o mushroom
    ● Sitaw, bataw, patani (mga beans)
    ● Beer at alak
    ● Tinapay

    Neurodermatitis

    Diagnosis

Your doctor may diagnose neurodermatitis by examining the affected skin and determining whether you've been itching and scratching. To rule out other causes, he or she may take a small sample of the affected skin (skin biopsy) for testing.

    Treatment
Treatment is aimed at controlling the itching, preventing scratching and addressing underlying causes.
    • Anti-itch medicated creams. If over-the-counter corticosteroid cream isn't helping, your doctor may prescribe a stronger corticosteroid or a nonsteroidal anti-itch product. A calcineurin inhibitor (tacrolimus) ointment may help if the vulva is involved.
    • Corticosteroid injections. Your doctor may inject corticosteroids directly into the affected skin to help it heal.
    • Medicine to ease itching. Prescription antihistamines help relieve itching in many people with neurodermatitis. Some of these drugs may cause drowsiness and help with alleviating scratching while you sleep.
    • Anti-anxiety drugs. Because anxiety and stress can trigger neurodermatitis, anti-anxiety drugs may help prevent the itchiness.
    • Medicated patches. For stubborn itching, your doctor may suggest topical lidocaine 5 percent or capsaicin 8 percent patches.
    • Light therapy. Exposing the affected skin to particular types of light is sometimes helpful.
    • Psychotherapy. Talking with a counselor can help you learn how your emotions and behaviors can fuel — or prevent — itching and scratching.

    Emerging therapies

If your itching persists despite treatment, your doctor may suggest a nontraditional approach. For example, in small studies some people whose symptoms didn't improve with corticosteroid use did report success with the following treatments.
    • OnabotulinumtoxinA (Botox) injection. This technique may reduce itching and clear up rough skin patches.
    • An oral drug to ease the compulsion to pick and scratch. An oral drug called N-acetylcysteine has been shown in a small study to help some people with picking and scratching.

    • Lifestyle and home remedies
    • These self-care measures can help you manage neurodermatitis:
      • Stop rubbing and scratching. The itching may be intense, but avoiding rubbing and scratching is key to controlling your condition and preventing a recurrence.
      • Apply cool, wet compresses. These may soothe the skin and relieve the itch. Putting a cool, wet compress on the affected skin for a few minutes before you apply a medicated cream helps the cream soak into the skin.
      • Try over-the-counter medications. Apply an anti-itch cream or lotion to the affected area. A hydrocortisone cream can temporarily relieve the itch. An oral antihistamine, such as diphenhydramine can relieve severe itching and help you sleep. Some people have success with capsaicin (kap-SAY-ih-sin) cream, but it may sting at first.
      • Cover the affected area. Bandages or dressings can help protect the skin and prevent scratching. These may be especially useful if you scratch during your sleep.
      • Keep your nails trimmed. Short nails may do less damage to the skin, especially if you tend to scratch while you're asleep.
      • Take short, warm baths and moisturize your skin. Prepare your bath with warm — not hot — water. Sprinkle in colloidal oatmeal. Use mild soaps without dyes or perfumes. Limit bathing time and frequency.
After washing, pat your skin dry and apply unscented moisturizer.
      • Avoid triggers. Notice what seems to bring on a recurrence and avoid it. For example, use stress management techniques and avoid clothing that irritates your skin.

      Preparing for your appointment

You may start by seeing your primary care physician. He or she may refer you to a doctor who specializes in skin conditions (dermatologist).
Here's some information to help you get ready for your appointment.

      What you can do

Before your appointment, make a list of:
      • Symptoms you've been having and for how long
      • Key personal information, including any major stresses or recent life changes
      • All medications, vitamins and supplements you take, including the doses
      • Questions to ask your doctor
For neurodermatitis, some basic questions to ask your doctor include:
      • What's the most likely cause of my itching?
      • Are there other possible causes?
      • Do I need any tests?
      • Will the itching ever stop?
      • What treatments are available, and which do you recommend?
      • What side effects can I expect from treatment?
      • What are alternatives to the primary approach you're suggesting?
      • How long will it take for my skin to return to normal?
      • I have other health conditions. How can I best manage them together?

What to expect from your doctor

Your doctor is likely to ask you a number of questions, such as:
      • Do your symptoms come and go, or are they fairly constant?
      • What products do you use on your skin, including soaps, lotions and cosmetics?
      • What steps have you taken to manage the itchiness?
      • Have any of these measures helped?
      • Have you been stressed or anxious lately?
      • How much do your symptoms affect your quality of life, including your ability to sleep?

    Overview

Neurodermatitis is a skin condition that starts with an itchy patch of skin. Scratching makes it even itchier. This itch-scratch cycle causes the affected skin to become thick and leathery. You may develop several itchy spots, typically on the neck, wrists, forearms, legs or anal region.

Neurodermatitis — also known as lichen simplex chronicus — is not life-threatening or contagious. But the itching can be so intense or recurrent that it disrupts your sleep, sexual function and quality of life.
Breaking the itch-scratch cycle of neurodermatitis is challenging, and neurodermatitis is usually a lifelong condition. Treatment success depends on resisting the urge to rub or scratch the affected areas. Over-the-counter or prescription medications may help ease the itching. You'll also need to identify and eliminate factors that may be aggravating the problem.

    Symptoms

Signs and symptoms of neurodermatitis include:
    • An itchy skin patch or patches
    • Leathery or scaly texture on the affected areas
    • A raised, rough patch or patches that are red or darker than the rest of your skin
The condition involves areas that can be reached for scratching — the head, neck, wrists, forearms, ankles, vulva, scrotum or anus. The itchiness, which can be intense, may come and go or be nonstop. You may scratch out of habit and while sleeping.

    When to see a doctor

    See your doctor if:
    • You catch yourself repeatedly scratching the same patch of skin
    • The itch prevents you from sleeping or focusing on your daily routines
    • Your skin becomes painful or looks infected and you have a fever

    Causes

The cause of neurodermatitis is unknown. The persistent rubbing and scratching that characterize the condition may begin with something that simply irritates the skin, such as tight clothing or a bug bite. As you rub or scratch the area, it gets itchier. The more you scratch, the more it itches.
In some cases, neurodermatitis is associated with chronic skin conditions — such as dry skin, eczema or psoriasis. Stress and anxiety can trigger itching too.

    Risk factors

Certain factors may affect your risk of neurodermatitis, including:
    • Your sex and age. Women are more likely to develop neurodermatitis than are men. The condition is most common between ages 30 and 50.
    • Other skin conditions. People with a personal or family history of dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis or similar skin conditions are more likely to develop neurodermatitis.
    • Anxiety disorders. Anxiety and stress can trigger the itch of neurodermatitis.

    Complications

Persistent scratching can lead to a wound, a bacterial skin infection, or permanent scars and changes in skin color. The itch of neurodermatitis can affect your sleep, sexual function and quality of life.
