A Natural Response

Ivelise Hernandes revealed her act of kindness was just the natural thing to do. She didn’t even have to think much about starting a search for the owner of the gift because her mother always taught her to be good to others. She also stated that peradventure she found herself in a similar situation, she hoped someone out there would have the guts to act likewise.

Una, yaang "Commonwealth" na sinasabi mo ay hindi grupo ng mga bansa na may impluwensya ang America. Ang tinutukoy mo ay ang "British Commonwealth of Nations" na Britanya o UK ang namumuno; at ang mga kasapi dito ay ang mga bansa na hinawakan ng Britanya tulad ng South Africa, India, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland at ang America ... hindi tayo kasali sa Commonwealth na sinasabi mo. Hindi tayo nahawakan ng Britanya.

Walang "American Commonwealth of Nations", dahil kung tutuusin, ang America ay dapat isang miembro din lang ng British Commonwealth - America being a former British colony, but America was not a member.

Pangalawa, "it is within the authority of the United States to legislate who among the officials in the nations receiving foreign aid are most  welcome and who are not welcome". Right nila yun as a Donor Country.

Pangatlo, ang America ay isang "foreign aid/grant endowing nation" at tayo naman ay isang "foreign aid/grant recipient nation" - maliwanag po?

Pangapat, paka-ingat po kayo at baka dahil sa angas nyo eh i-cancel ng US-INS yung Green Card status ng asawa mo, ng mga anak mo at ung mga anak nila sa Tate!

Panglima, kung ang tinutukoy nyo ay ang transitional period for Philippine Independence under the Tydings- McDuffie Law from 1935 to 1945, yan po ay matagal nang tapos na siglo ng ating kasaysayan nang bigyan tayo ng full independence ng America nuong July 4, 1946. Green things

Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the much older lady that she should bring her own grocery bags, because plastic bags are not good for the environment,.
The woman apologized to the young girl and explained, "We didn't have this 'green thing' back in my earlier days."
The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations."
The older lady said that she was right our generation didn't have the "green thing" in its day. The older lady went on toexplain: Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled.
But we didn't have the "green thing" back in our day. Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags that we reused for numerous things. Most memorable besides household garbage bags was the use of brown paper bags as book covers for our school books. This was to ensure that public property (the books provided for our use by the school) was not defaced by our scribblings. Then we were able to personalize our books on the brown paper bags.
But, too bad we didn't do the "green thing" back then. We walked up stairs because we didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks. But she was right. We didn't have the "green thing" in our day.
Back then we washed the baby's diapers because we didn't have the throw away kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy-gobbling machine burning up 220 volts. Wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days.
Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing. But that young lady is right; we didn't have the "green thing" back in our day.
Back then we had one TV, or radio, in the house -- not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief (remember them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana.
In the kitchen we blended and stirred by hand because we didn't have electric machines to do everything for us.
When we packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap.
Back then, we didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human power.
We exercised by working so we didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity. But she's right; we didn't have the "green thing" back then.
We drank from a fountain when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blade in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull. But we didn't have the "green thing" back then.
Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service in the family's $45,000 SUV or van, which cost what a whole house did before the "green thing."
We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest burger joint.
But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just because we didn't have the "green thing" back then?
Please forward this on to another selfish old person who needs a lesson in conservation from a smart ass young person. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to piss us off... Especially from a tattooed, multiple pierced smartass who can't make change without the cash register telling them how much.

Mata

Problema Sa Mata: Ano Ang Solusyon? (Part 1)

Maraming tao ang binabalewala ang mata. Pero naisip mo ba ang mawawala sa iyong buhay kapag ika’y nabulag? Hindi mo na makikita ang kapaligiran, ang dagat, ang mukha ng iyong kabiyak at anak.
Alaman ang solusyon sa mga problema ng mata:
1. Kapag edad 40 ay lumalabo ang paningin. Ang tawag dito ay presbyopia, kung saan humihina ang pag-focus ng ating mata sa malalapit na bagay. Normal lang ito at kumonsulta sa isang optometrist (o tindahan ng salamin) para magpasukat ng salamin.
2. Eye bags. Para mabawasan ang eye bags, subukang maghilamos ng malamig na tubig sa umaga. Puwede rin gumamit ng basang cotton balls na nilubog sa yelo o pipinong pinalamig din. Ipatong ito sa mata ng 15 minutos at mababawasan ang pamamaga ng mata. Ang isa pang home remedy ay ang paggamit ng teabag (bag ng tsaa) na ipinapatong sa mata. Ang teabag ay may tannin na lumilinis at nagpapa-firm ng balat.
3. Nanunuyong mata sa edad 60 pataas (dry eyes). Pangkaraniwang sakit ito ng may edad dahil nababawasan ang paggawa ng luha. Ang solusyon dito ay ang madalas na pagpatak ng artificial tears na mabibili sa botika. Kung gustong makatipid, puwedeng magtimpla ng sariling “luha”. Maghalo ng katiting na asin at isang onsang distilled water. Ihalo maigi at gamitin itong pang-patak sa mata. Bumili na lang ng dropper.
4. Cataract o katarata. Kapag malabo ang salamin ng kotse ay mahihirapan kang magmaneho. Ganito rin ang nangyayari sa katarata kung saan lumalabo ang lente ng mata. Ang sanhi ng katarata ay ang matinding araw, pag-edad, diabetes at paninigarilyo. Hanggang ngayon ay walang pangpatak para malunasan ang katarata. Ang solusyon sa katarata ay isang simpleng operasyon na ginagawa ng mga eye specialists. Magpa-check sa doktor sa mata.
5. Glaucoma. Sa glaucoma, nababarahan ang pagdaloy ng likido sa loob ng ating mata. Dahil dito, tumataas ang presyon sa loob ng mata. Puwede ito magdulot ng pananakit ng ulo at pagkabulag. Ginagamot ang glaucoma sa pamamagitan ng eye drops o laser surgery. Seryosong sakit ang glaucoma at kailangan magpatingin agad sa eye specialist.
Tandaan: Ang mata natin ay konektado sa buong katawan. Dahil dito, kailangang umiwas sa bisyo at kumain ng masustansya. Gamutin ang altapresyon at diabetes. Ito ang solusyon para hindi magkasakit ang iyong mata.

Alam natin na ang pagkain nang labis ay talagang nakasasama.
Ang blood sugar natin ay tataas kung kakain ng marami. Kung kumain ka ng sobrang karne, maaari rin magkaroon ng mas maraming nakalalason na sangkap na tinatawag na "free radical," na maaaring maging sanhi ng cancer.

Kung kumain ka lamang ng sapat, ang iyong katawan ay maaaring makakuha ng maraming mga benepisyo sa kalusugan. Ang iyong presyon ng dugo, blood sugar levels at cholesterol level ay malamang na bumaba. Ang pagbaba ng timbang ay maaaring magpababa sa panganib na magkaroon ng sakit sa buto (arthritis) at marami pang ibang sakit.

Ang konsepto ng pagkain ng kaunti ay hindi pareho na ginugutom mo ang iyong sarili at pagiging kulang sa mga sustansya. Ang sikreto ay ang pagkain ng mataas sa nutrisyon at mababa sa calories. Ibig sabihin nito na kumain ng masustansyang pagkain.

Kumain ng mga gulay, prutas, isda at beans. Ang mga itlog, tinapay at fiber cereals ay pwede din.

Subukang iwasan ang pagkain ng sobrang karne ng baka, baboy at matatamis. Limitahan ang pagkain ng mga candies, gravies, cream at icings.

Maaaring bawasan ang puting kanin at palitan ng masustansyang gulay tulad ng repolyo, kangkong, bean sprout, at broccoli. Kung karaniwang kumu-konsumo ng dalawang tasa ng kanin, bawasan ito sa 1 tasa.

Kumain ng mas madalas, pero kaunti lang. Ang isang saging, isang mansanas o isang piraso ng tinapay ay maaaring maging isang pagkain. Sa pamamagitan ng pagkain nang mas kaunti at mas madalas, ang iyong boold sugar ay hindi gaano tataas. Ang pagkain ng mas kaunti ay mas banayad din sa iyong katawan at maaaring makatulong na mabuhay ka nang mas mahaba.


Oregano

Ang Oregano (Coleus aromaticus) ay isang halamang gamot na marami at malambot ang mga sanga; mabango at matapang at amoy. Ang mga dahon nito’y nasa 2-3 pulgada ang haba, at maypagkahugis-puso at itsura. Matagal na rin itong ginagamit hindi lamang bilang gamot kundi bilang pampalasa sa mga pagkain. May mga pag-aaaral narin ng ginawa kung saan may mga katangiang nakita sa halamang ito na nagpapakitang may potensyal bilang isang halamang gamot ang oregano.

MGA TRADISYONAL NA GAMIT NG OREGANO :

Nakapagbibigay-ginhawa sa ubo, sipon, at lagnat lalo na sa mga sanggol
Nakapagbibigay-ginhawa sa sore throat o pharngitis
Gamot para sa mga pigsa at pananakit sa kalamnan
Iba pang mga tradisyonal na gamit ng oregano: Gamot sa UTI, sa sore throat, sa sakit ng tiyan
PAANO GAMITIN ANG OREGANO

Maaaring magpakulo ng isang tasa ng sariwang dahon sa tatlong tasa ng tubig, ilaga ito sa 10-15 minuto. Uminom ng isang tasa tatlong beses isang araw para sa ubo’t sipon.

Para sa ubo at rayuma, maari ring gumagamit ng mas matapang na preparasyon. Pigain ang mga dahon ng oregano at uminom ng isang kutsarita ng katas nito, tatlong beses rin isang araw.

Para sa mga pigsa, sugat, o kagat ng insekto, dikdikin ang mga dahon at ipahid ito sa apektadong bahagi ng katawan, isang beses isang araw.

KAALAMAN TUNGKOL SA OREGANO BILANG HALAMANG GAMOT :

Scientific name: Coleus amboinicus Lour. ; Coleus aromaticus Benth.; Coleus suganda Blanco; Plectranthus aromaticus Roxb.
Common name: Oregano, Suganda (Tagalog); Country Boraage, Oregano (Ingles)

Ang oregano ay isa sa mga kilalang pampalasa o herb na karaniwang ginagamit sa mga lutuin. Ito ay maliit lamang na halaman na gumagapang, ang dahon ay mabalahibo at makatas at may bulaklak din na kulay lila. Kilala ang angking amoy ng halamang ito kung kaya’t karaniwan itong pananim sa mga taniman at ginagamit na pampalasa. Madali itong tumutubo saan mang lugar sa mundo partikular sa India at mga bansang Malaya.

ANO ANG MGA SUSTANSYA AT KEMIKAL NA MAAARING MAKUHA SA OREGANO?

Ang iba’t ibang bahagi ng halamang oregano ay maaaring makuhanan ng maraming uri ng kemikal at sustansya na maaaring may benepisyo sa kalusugan:
Ang halaman ay may taglay na carbohydrates, proteins, phenols, tannins, flavanoids, saponins, glycosides.
Ang dahon ay kinukuhanan ng langis na may thymol, eugenol, trans-caryophyllene, at carvacrol

7. Pigsa. Ang pigsa sa balat ay matutulungan naman ng pagtatapal ng dinikdik na dahon ng oregano. Ginagawa ito ng apat na beses sa isang araw.

8. Sore throat. Ang pananakit ng lalamunan dahil sa sore throat ay maaaring matulungan ng paglunok sa pinaglagaan ng pinatuyong dahon ng oregano.

9. Pananakit ng tenga. Mabisa naman na pangtanggal sa pananakit ng tenga ang pagpapatak ng sariwang katas ng dahon sa loob mismo ng tenga

10. Ubo. ang ubo na mahirap gumaling at pabalikbalik ay maaaring matulungan ng pag-inom sa pinaglagaan ng oregano. Maaari ding lunukin ang isang kutsara ng sariwang katas ng dahon ng oregano.

1. one day you will retire. You won't be going to work. You won’t have office power any more. No influence or at best, a reduced influence. Your cash flow will also reduce.! Check retirement date on your payslip.

2. Always  go for your 30days annual leave. Whatever you do during your leave, is what you will be doing when you retire. If all you do is to sleep or watch TV, then that’s what you are likely do do in your retirement. Remember the book of Proverbs. A little sleep and a little slumber, so shall your poverty multiply.
Watching Big Brother Naija will not save you heartache in retirement. Learn a trade or a skill during your leave. It will come handy. Spend your after-office hours learning something. Don’t spend it sleeping, Gossiping, watching TV!! Same goes for your weekend. Make them productive. You will thank yourself for spending your time productively.

3. Invest for your retirement... your children are not retirement investment. Don’t bank on your children’s support or the support of friends or relations. That’s a BIG risk. It may not happen. Be ready to take care of yourself!! Everyone has his own responsibilities. They won’t be able to help you that much. You will also lose your dignity and respect if you adopt a life of begging.

4. Start a hobby early in your working days to take you along when you retire. Rearing chicken, farming or own a shop. Acquire marketable skills ( not useless paper certificates) Etc

5. Where shall you retire. Build yourself a home. Don't retire and start to rent a house or refuse to vacate government house. You will be at the mercy of your landlord at a time when your cash flow is not only reduced but unpredictable!!

6. Who shall be your dependants. By the time you retire, your children should be above 18, and self reliant.

7. Don't retire and stay in a big city unless you can TRULY afford it. You can't continue living in a big city after 60 with limited financial resources. The language and the hustle will be hard for you. Where possible, Relocate to a less expensive town where your reduced take home (pension) can go further.

Tamang Pagkain Sa Maysakit

Alam ba ninyo kung anong pagkain ang ibibigay sa maysakit? Kung ang pasyente ay may pangangasim ng sikmura o ulcer, sundin ang mga payong ito. Para sa mga may lagnat o dengue, ingatan din natin na huwag mairita ang tiyan at baka magasgas ito. Heto ang mga ligtas na pagkain:

Bawasan o Iwasan ang Pagkaing Ito:
1. Maaasim – Bawasan ang pag-inom o pagkain ng may calamansi, purong orange o lemon juice at suka. Nakadadagdag ito sa acid sa tiyan.
2. Maaanghang - Iwasan ang maaanghang dahil puwede itong makahapdi ng sikmura.
3. Maiitim na pagkain tulad ng dinuguan, tinta ng posit at dark chocolate – Para sa may dengue, iwasan ang pagkaing maiitim dahil iitim din ang dumi at malilito ang mga doktor kung nagdugo ba ang tiyan ng pasyente.
4. Mamantika at matatabang pagkain – Nagpapabagal ang mantika at taba sa galaw ng ating bituka. Dahil dito, mas tatagal ang acid sa ating tiyan.
5. Inuming may Caffeine tulad ng kape – Ang kape ay nagpapadami ng acid sa ating tiyan. Maraming pasyenteng may pangangasim ng sikmura ang gumagaling kapag itinigil nila ang pag-inom ng kape. Kung gusto pa ring uminom, hanggang isang baso lang ng kape ang puwede.

Magandang Kainin:
1. Lugaw o am – Lagyan ito ng asin at konting ulam. Malambot ang lugaw, madaling tunawin at mainit pa sa tiyan. Mayroon itong carbohydrates na nagpapalakas ng katawan.
2. Nilagang manok - Ang chicken soup ay nagpapabilis sa paggaling ng trangkaso at sipon. Ito ay dahil sa taglay nitong cysteine, isang natural na amino acid. Masustansya ang sabaw nito at nagpapalabnaw din ng plema.
3. Saging – Ang saging ay may sangkap na “flavonoid leucocyanidin” na pinoprotektahan ang ating tiyan laban sa ulcer. May potassium din ang saging na kailangan sa normal na pagtibok ng puso.
4. Kanin at isda – Magandang kombinasyon ang kanin at isda dahil nakokompleto nito ang protina na kailangan ng katawan. Sabawan din ang kanin para lumambot ito at madaling kainin.
5. Uminom ng maraming tubig para bumaba ang lagnat at huwag ma-dehydrate.
6. Mas maganda sa mayroong sakit na kumain ng madalas ngunit pakonti-konti lamang. Ito’y para hindi mahirapan ang tiyan sa pagtunaw ng pagkain.
Tandaan: Magpahinga, inumin ang gamot at kumain ng tama. Iyan ang sikreto sa mabilis mong paggaling.

Kapag ang blood pressure niyo ay palaging lampas sa 140 over 90, ang ibig sabihin ay may high blood ka na. Ang pinakamainam na blood pressure ay mga 120 over 80. May mga natural na paraan para bumaba ang iyong presyon:
1. Magbawas ng timbang. Kapag kayo ay lampas sa timbang, mas tataas ang iyong blood pressure. Kung maibababa niyo ang iyong timbang ng 10 pounds, ay bababa din ang iyong blood pressure ng 10 points.
2. Magbawas sa pagkain ng maaalat. Umiwas o magbawas sa paggamit ng asin, toyo, patis at bagoong. Bawasan din ang pagkain ng noodles, daing, tuyo at sitsirya.
3. Kumain ng gulay, prutas at low-fat na gatas. Ang saging ay may potassium at napakaganda sa puso.
4. Umiwas sa karneng baboy at baka. Umiwas din sa mamantikang pagkain tulad ng mantikilya at cake. Kumain na lang ng matatabang isda tulad ng sardinas, tilapia at bangus.
5. Bawasan o itigil ang pag-inom ng soft drinks at matatamis na juices. Ayon sa bagong pagsusuri, ang sobrang tamis ay nagdudulot ng diabetes at sakit sa puso.
6. Bawasan ang pag-inom ng kape. Limitahan sa 2 tasa ng kape sa isang araw para hindi tumaas ang presyon. Piliin ang tsa-a tulad ng green tea.
7. Mag-ehersisyo ng 3 hanggang 5 beses bawat linggo. Gawin ito ng 30 minutos hanggang 1 oras. Piliin ang ehersisyo na angkop sa iyong edad. Pero siguraduhing normal ang iyong presyon bago mag-ehersisyo.
8. Matulog ng 7 hanggang 8 oras.
9. Magbawas ng trabaho. Ang sobrang daming gawain ay puwedeng magdulot ng high blood.
10. Ihinto ang paninigarilyo. Tataas ng 10 puntos ang iyong presyon kapag ikaw ay naninigarilyo. Mas lalapot pa ang iyong dugo.
11. Bawasan o itigil ang pag-inom ng alak. Ang sobrang alak ay nakasisira din sa puso.
12. Huwag palaging magagalit. Posibleng tumaas ng 50 points ang iyong blood pressure kapag ika’y galit na galit.
13. Mag-relax at huminga lang ng malalim at mabagal para bumaba ang presyon. Makinig sa magagandang musika.

3. Walang bayad ang overtime, pero yung mga undertime at late mo bilang nila at pag kumota ka may kaltas ka.

4. Maliit na sweldo, hindi dahil sa loans maliit talaga yon kumpara sa ibang propesyon.

5. Biglaang reports tapos deadline agad kinabukasan yung pressure iba.

6. Trabaho ng ibang Ahensya sayo pa ipapagawa. (pagpupurga, hearing/vision test, nutritional status, earthquake reunification forms, feeding ngayon pati pagtotooth brush nila momonitor mo pa)

7. Ginagawa kang tindera (tray) nakakababa ng moral to, feeling ng mga bata pinagkakakitaan ko sila. patunay jan ang katagang "Teacher ang dami mo ng pera ah, ang yaman mo na."

8. Abono madalas, liit na nga sweldo e padulas ka pa ng padulas (photocopies, pagdedecor ng room lahat ng materials mo gastos mo) minsan pati baon ng estudyante mo.

Marami pang ibang dahilan, pero 13 lang nilagay ko para sunod sa netflix series na pinanonood ko.

Nakalulungkot lang isipin na yung pangarap na binuo ko, unti-unting nagiging bangungot sa paningin ko.

Yung apoy ng damdamin sa propesyong ito tila nawawala matapos ang limang taon ko sa serbisyo.

Mahal ko ang mga bata at mag-aaral ko, pero bakit ganun tila nawawala ang pagmamahal ko para sa sarili ko.

3. Huwag kumain ng sobrang karne. Ang sobrang protina sa iyong diyeta ay nakakapinsala sa iyong mga bato. Ang digestion ng protina ay gumagawa ng ammonia, isang napaka-mapanirang lason para sa mga bato. Karamihan sa karne ay katumbas ng mas maraming pinsala sa bato.

4. Huwag Uminom ng labis na caffeine. Ang caffeine ay isang sangkap ng maraming mga sodas at malambot na inumin. Ito ay nagdaragdag ng iyong presyon ng dugo at ang iyong mga bato ay nagsisimulang magdusa. Kaya dapat mong bawasan ang dami ng coke at kape na inumin mo araw-araw.

5. Uminom ng sapat na tubig. Ang aming mga bato ay dapat na mahusay na hydrated upang maisagawa nang maayos ang kanilang mga tungkulin. Kung hindi tayo masyadong uminom, ang mga lason ay maaaring magsimulang mag-ipon sa dugo dahil walang sapat na likido upang maubos ang mga ito sa pamamagitan ng mga bato. Uminom ng higit sa 10 baso ng tubig sa isang araw. May isang madaling paraan upang suriin kung umiinom ka ng sapat na tubig: tingnan ang kulay ng iyong ihi; mas magaan ang kulay, mas mabuti.

6. Paggamot sa huli. Gamutin nang maaga ang lahat ng iyong mga problema sa kalusugan at regular na suriin ang iyong kalusugan. Tumulong tayo. protektahan ka ng Diyos at ang iyong pamilya laban sa lahat ng mga sakit ngayong taon.

Ability to think before its too late.

Put a frog into a vessel fill with water and start heating the water.
As the temperature of the water begins to rise, the frog adjust its body temperature accordingly.
The frog keeps adjusting its body temperature with the increasing temperature of the water. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog cannot adjust anymore. At this point the frog decides to jump out.

The frog tries to jump but it is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising water temperature.
Very soon the frog dies.
What killed the frog?
Think about it!
I know many of us will say the boiling water. But the truth about what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when to jump out.

We all need to adjust with people & situations, but we need to be sure when we need to adjust & when we need to move on. There are times when we need to face the situation and take appropriate actions.

If we allow people to exploit us
physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually or mentally they will continue to do so.
Let us decide when to jump!
Let's jump while we still have the strength.

It was hard to see a child wake up hungry and I understood this only when I immersed  myself with the community and started living up in the mountains with the locals. Along with starvation, there were other conditions like limited supply of clean water and poor sanitation. I would fetch firewood or water with them and work all day long in the fields. I did composting from available inputs, taught multiple classes on applied organic farming technologies and taught the school kids English, Math and planting the school's gardens. For me it is not simply growing food; it is community rehabilitation and believe me it is not always easy or glamorous because farming is looked down upon as a peasant's profession and people like me are fighting to remove that stigma.

I have worked all over Mindanao and trained roughly 2,500 Filipino tribal farmers in technology free organic farming without the input of any government or NGO all in the span of 18 months. I have conducted multiple training workshops on basic composting, organic concoctions and growing tutorials and I would love if some of you used my methods in other countries.

Many headlines have mentioned the ongoing drug war in the Philippines. I have actually gone into some of these areas and helped train drug surrenderees to pursue  an alternate livelihood and save them from reverting to drugs again.

I grow anything that feeds the mind, body and soul. Poverty must be addressed first before we move on to support normal livelihood.

All of my materials for growing food organically are free to anyone and I will make time for any questions that you may have. I don't get paid for any of the work I do and I  never charge to teach. To make someone pay to learn how to sustain life on a planet that cost nothing is utterly the textbook definition of insanity to me. No one should ever commodify nature. Nature doesn’t charge us for anything she provides. What nature does is essentially what I am teaching you.

I believe I am in the best place on earth right now mentally, physically and spiritually. I found my humanity when I gave up the conveniences of modern life. I discovered that people who had nothing in terms of material were the happiest people I had ever seen. I will teach until I die or am physically unable to do. I want to spread the word of nature and continue to help present a positive image for my Filipino brother and sister farmers. I have a lot of work ahead of me but I also know that I have the best people by my side"

3. Siesta (Siyesta)

Mahalagang malaman kung paano magpahinga habang sinusuri ang iyong listahan ng gagawin.

11. Stress debriefing (Pagsusuri sa stress)

Ang stress ay nakakatrauma. Nakakatulong ang stress debriefing para sa pag-iwas o paggamot sa stress.

Ito daw ay hindi lamang nagpapahina sa epekto ng trauma, makakatulong din ito na mabawi mo ito.

12. Spirituality (Ispirituwalidad o Pagdarasal )

Ang paniniwala sa Diyos ay malaking tulong para mabawasan o maialis ang bigat na nararamdaman.

There are three elements of proper rest:

1. The time in which you rest. The most optimum time for the body
to rest is when the sun is no longer shining. Ideally, a person would
rest and sleep when the sun goes down and arise when the sun
comes up. This is the natural cycle. However, most people's lifestyles
do not allow this. Therefore they are resting and sleeping at
non-optimal times. Each week a lunar cycle occurs starting at sundown
every Friday ending at sundown every Saturday. This time
period is absolutely the most ideal time for the body to recharge
and rejuvenate.

2. The amount of hours you rest. Although every person is different, it
appears that every person operates better when getting eight hours
of sleep. People operate worse if they receive fewer hours or more
hours. The majority of people sleep less than eight hours, and then
try to catch up by occasionally sleeping more hours. This practice
does not allow optimal recharging and rejuvenation of the cells in
your body.

3. Rest and sleep should be deep. Most people toss and turn at night.
The ideal situation is that you virtually do not move for the entire
sleep time. When sleep is full and deep, brainwave activity can
occur, which stimulates the healing process throughout the body.
A person who snores wakes themselves up an average of 300 times
per night. A person who snores never gets into the deepest levels of
sleep, and thus their body is never operating at optimal efficiency.

There is a difference between sleep and rest. The body can rest
without going to sleep. Most people never take a "rest" during the day.
The common pattern of waking up, working all day nonstop, going to
bed late, never getting a full deep eight hours of peaceful sleep, results
in a body that slowly begins to break down and never has a chance to
heal and recharge. If you were to take a battery powered device and
leave it on until the battery died, and compare that to turning the
device on for a period of time then off for a period of time, and repeating
this process several times, you would find the battery life can be as
high as twice as long as nonstop usage. The body is very much like a
battery. The body operates almost identically, utilizing electric current
throughout. It must be given a chance to rest. If a person did nothing
else but get proper rest and sleep, their energy levels would skyrocket
and the amount of illness and disease they experience would go down
dramatically.

Garlic for warts

The first phase of the study requires the patients to apply water extracts of garlic twice daily on their warts. Then on the second phase, the two groups of the patients were asked to apply a fat-soluble garlic extract twice daily on their warts or corns. On the other hand, a solution containing chloroform and methanol in a 2:1 ratio for 20 days were treated on the controlled group.

Results of the study showed that garlic treatment for 30-40 days has eliminated small warts and partially improved the appearance of larger warts. Also, after 1 to 2 weeks of applying fat-soluble garlic extract, all the patients with corns showed a complete recovery except for two who only showed marked improvement. Meanwhile, the control group showed no improvement for either warts or corns.

Based on these results, the researchers concluded that to treat corns, one should apply fat-soluble garlic extract for 10-20days. These effects were due to the garlic’s antiviral activity, anti-tumor activity, immunomodulatory activity, and fibrinolytic activity.

Other Natural Ways To Lower Hypertension


  1. Increase activity and exercise more
  2. Eat less processed food
  3. Reduce excess stress
  4. Stop smoking
  5. Try meditation or yoga
  6. Cut back on sugar and refined carbohydrates
  7. Ginger-cardamom tea
  8. Lose weight if you’re overweight
  9. Eat more garlic
  10. Eat more potassium and less sodium

  12. Get a vigorous cardio workout of at least 30 minutes
  13. Inhale deeply and expand your belly. Try 5 minutes in the morning and at night

This is very important.
Most people I talk to do not understand or comprehend the amount of
toxicity that gets into the body. When we talk about health, nutrition,
disease and illness, most people only think about drugs and surgery.
More "aware" people consider food. However, when people consider
food they only think of calories, fats, carbohydrates, or proteins. No one
ever really talks about the processing of food and the chemicals put in
the food. Very few people even consider all the chemicals and toxins
that get in through the skin. Very few people consider the physiological
affects of what comes in through the eyes in the form of negative
images on television. Almost no one considers the negative physiological
affects that sound vibrations have on the body that come in through
the ears. Very few people consider the toxins that are in the air that we
breathe that come in through the nose. Why are we sick? The answer
is, first and foremost, the massive amount of toxins that are getting into
your body. These toxins are one of the major reasons why illness is so
rampant today. Unless these toxins are addressed, you will continue to
get sick and you will be unable to cure yourself permanently of any illness
and disease you may have.

Juice

Juice is good, but only if you make it in your home with organic fruits
and vegetables, and drink your juice right away. Once you have juiced
the product and air gets to it, it begins to oxidize and lose its nutritional
value. So if you have a juice machine in your house, you get organic
fruits and vegetables, you make juice and you drink it.

Now let's get back to water. The reason I brought up the whole
issue about cholesterol and arteriosclerosis is that tap water has
chlorine in it. One reason why heart disease is so prevalent today
is because people drink tap water, bathe in tap water, shower in tap
water, or swim in chlorinated pools. As I mentioned above, this is one
of the major causes of scaring of the arteries which lead to clogged
arteries, arteriosclerosis, and heart disease. But it's not just the water.
Chlorine is used in the processing of many fruits and vegetables. It is
also put in the water that is used in the irrigation of fruits and vegetables.

The chlorine is a major problem. Again, I'm pointing this out
to you just so you can see how all encompassing the problem is. So
consider this: our water supply is loaded with toxins. These toxins are
getting into our bodies by:

• Drinking the water
• Eating or drinking anything made with water

• Eating any food that was grown with the water
• Eating any meat, poultry, fish or dairy where the animal drank
water
• Showering, bathing or swimming in water

Since our skin is the largest organ in the body, it has been reported
that we absorb more toxins by taking one shower than by drinking
five glasses of water. In a shower, not only is the water with all the
toxins being absorbed through the skin, many of the most volatile and
dangerous toxins are turned into a gas created by the steam. These
toxic fumes in your shower are then inhaled. A shower is practically
a gas chamber filled with poisonous gas chemicals. Steam rooms, hot
tubs and swimming pools are places where you will absorb the highest
levels of toxins. The paradox is we think of these particular areas as
being the healthiest.

The poisoned water supply is another significant factor relating to
how toxins get into our body. By now it won't surprise you to learn how
we are being misled by the news media and government agencies about
the purity and safety of our water supply. Remember that chlorine and
fluoride are the two main poisons that are in our water supply and are
the reason our water is so unhealthy. Yet, the government and news
media rates the quality of our water based on the amount of chlorine
and fluoride in it! The more chlorine and fluoride in the water the
healthier it is, claims the government! They even say that tap water is
better than spring water because tap water has chlorine and fluoride in
it and spring water does not. This is yet another way you are being lied
to, deceived and brainwashed into thinking that chemicals are better
than something in a natural state.

Artery to get scarred.

Primarily, there are three things that cause the artery to get
scarred. And its when the artery is scarred that the cholesterol begins
the attaching process, and that's how you get arteriosclerosis and
heart disease.

1. Chlorinated water. Chlorine in the water that you drink and shower
and bathe in or swim in causes massive scarring of the arteries,
which in turn means, no matter how much cholesterol you have
or don't have, whatever cholesterol is there will attach itself and
begin the clogging process.

2. Hydrogenated oils or trans fats. As you look at virtually 90 percent
of the food produced in boxes, if you were to actually read
the label you'd see the words "hydrogenated oil" or "partially
hydrogenated oil." These are trans fats. Margarine, for example, is
hydrogenated oil. These trans fats scar the arteries, causing heart
disease and arteriosclerosis.

3. Homogenized dairy products. People say, "Well I drink low fat
milk or low fat yogurt." The fat has nothing to do with it. You
are being scammed, you are being lied to, you are being misled.
It's not the fat that is the problem. Keep in mind that when they
make a low fat product, it's not a natural product, it's man-made.
When dairy products are homogenized it turns the dairy products
into a lethal man-made product that causes scaring of the arteries.
Homogenized dairy products, whether they are yogurt, milk, or
cheese, are all deadly. It is not the fat that is the problem in dairy,
it's the homogenization process.

Hindi ikaw na pinanganak naman ng normal at maayos pero piniling mamuhay ng iba sa normal at sa estado ng iyong kapanganakan. Yours is not a disability but a lifestyle choice. Wala kang kapansanan. Hindi mo kailangan ng Special Treatment..
Expressing your self is ok. Being different is ok. Being true to your feelings is ok. Demanding for equality and rights is ok. But remember, YOUR RIGHTS AND PRIVILEDGES ARE LIMITED BY THE WAY THEY OBSTRUCT WITH THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS.

I got...

I GOT MY FIRST MILLION BY THE AGE OF 21...

Nagsimula sa scratch as in Wala. No capital, just hardworks and determination. I came from poor family, my father died when I was 6 years old. I have 5 siblings, iba iba yung tatay😅.
Simula nung namatay yung tatay ko, dun ako nagstart mangarap ng malaki. Na sinabi ko sa sarili ko, kailangan at dapat kong maiahon sa hirap ang pamilya ko. Mahirap talaga maging panganay, nasakin lahat ng responsibilidad 😁. Elementary pa lang ako, mahilig na ko magnegosyo, nagtitinda ng candy or kahit anong paraan basta lalago yung pera ko. Dalawang piso lang baon ko nun. At di ko gagastusin hanggang makaipon akong puhunan para makabili ng paninda. Iba na yung utak ko noon pa dahil sa mga kahirapan nadanas ng pamilya ko. Isang kahig, isang tuka. Minsan kamoteng kahoy lang tanghalian namin, nag uulam ng toyo at mantika.

Nung College ako, nagkainterest ako sa Online business. Pinag aralan ko sya, paano ba kalakaran, nag observe ako pano ako makakabenta. Nagstart akong magbenta nung Second year College ako, Kasi kinakailangan na rin dahil wala ng susuporta sa pag aaral ko. Kaya kailangan ko suportahan yung sarili ko. Sa pamamagitan ng pagbebenta online, nakapagtapos ako ng pag aaral. Ako lahat ng nagbabayad ng tubig, kuryente, rent ng bahay, lahat ng expenses sakin. By the way, meron akong napakasupportive na boyfriend na tumutulong sakin sa pagpapatakbo ng munting negosyo. Siguro sya yung binigay ni Lord pra makatulong sakin na maabot namin to pareho.

Paano ba namin na achieve ito?? Di kailangan ng puhunan sa una. Naging reseller lang ako dati. Payment 1st ako sa mga customer ko, magbabayad muna sila bago nila makukuha yung item, so yung ibabayad nila ayun yung ipangpupuhunan ko. Sa simula syempre mahirap maghanap ng customer, pero nagamit ko dito yung skills ko , Business Ad major in Marketing Management yung course na natapos ko. Alam ko kung ano yung kiliti ng mga customer, alam ko kung ano yung gusto nila, at parang laging tama yung nasa isip ko ano ang magtrend. So meaning, alam ko kung mabenta ba o hindi. Yun yung naging advantage ko. Napaikot namin yung pera hanggang lumago, nagkaroon kami ng sariling Physical store, nandun lahat ng paninda namin. Di na rin ako naghanap ng trabaho. Nagfull time na lang ako dito sa business namin. Mas malaki naman po ang kita dito kesa magtrabaho ako😊.

Kahit malaki yung expenses namin dahil nasakin lahat ng lima kong kapatid , ako lahat nagpapaaral, di ako pinabayaan ni Lord. He is my Provider, He blessed me more than I need.
Big achievement na ito para samin. Always remember “Kung kaya ko, kaya nyo rin”
Diskarte at tamang paghawak ng pera. Assets over liability. Let your assets pay your liabilities 😊. Kaya ngayon gusto ko muna mag invest kesa bumili ng kung ano ano😅. Yun lang po, sana nainspire kayo😊 at wag susuko sa buhay😊.

5 years ago, sinabi ko sa sarili ko na "eto na ang huling beses na makikita ko yung bahay namin na maraming tapal dahil sa butas"..😅 kaya ayon, pinagsikapan at lahat halos ng pera na kinita eh nasa poste at pader ng bahay. Kaya pag tinatanong ako ng iba kng ka work kng ano ang mga na invest ko, sagot ko ay pinagawa ko yung bahay namin sa province. at kadalasan nilang sagot ay "naku! Dead investment yan dapat nag business ka" which is true naman talaga. Dapat passive income ang mindset kasi para kang nag baon ng pera sa lupa dahil walang ROI.

Pero, pangarap talaga ng papa ko na maging two story na my terrace ang bahay namin na tinitirahan na minana pa nya sa magulang nya. bata palang ako lagi ko nakikita papa ko na gumagawa ng blueprint ng dream house nya. Siguro mga 3 beses ko sya nakita na gumagawa ng layout sa dreamhouse nya. and Praise God! ang pangarap ng papa ko noon hindi nalang sa drawing kasi naging makatotohanan na. Nakulayan din sa wakas!😁

Yung tipong across the street,  left and right front and back eh bahay lang talaga namin ang naiiba ang hitsura😅 wala eh, ganun talaga ang kapalaran wala namang gusto na maging mahirap kasi ang hirap kaya.

My isang successful person ako na narinig na nag share ng buhay nya. Sabi nya, siguro kng buhay pa ang magulang nya ngayon lahat ng gustong kainin ibibigay nya. lahat ng hilingin kng kaya ay ibibigay nya. Siguro ngayon daw pinatayuan nya ng maayos na bahay kahit mansion pa. Kaso hindi na inabot ng magulang nya yung pag succes ng buhay nya. Kaya yun ang isa sa naging motivation ko. Gusto ko ibigay sa magulang ko yung gusto nilang pagkain na kaya pa nila lasahan at nguyain dahil hindi pa bawal.. gusto ko rin mapuntahan nila yung ibang lugar na kaya pa nilang e enjoy habang naglalakad.. at gusto ko ma enjoy nila yung akyat baba ng 2nd floor ng bahay na pangarap nila na hindi pa sumasakit ang tuhod. Yun ang mga bagay na hindi nila na naranasan noon dahil di afford  na gusto ko ma experience nila bago ang takip silim ng buhay nila. Iba rin pala pag pamilya or magulang mo ang naging inspirasyon mo kasi binibigay tLaga ni Lord 👼

God is Good talaga. Sino ang mag aakala na ang mga biruan lang namin nuon na pangarap na magkaroon ng bahay na 2nd floor na my terrace ay magiging totoo. Yung pangarap na bahay na sa papel ko lang dati  nakikita ay hindi na drawing. Yung tipong kahit my bagyo hindi na ako mag woworry na maraming tulo yung bahay namin., baka basa na sila sa loob ng bahay.. baka bumagsak yung bubungan dahil marupok na.. it's true hindi passive income ang bahay at maraming nag sasabing dead investment. Pero ang makita ko ang magulang ko na masaya at maayos ang kalagayan ay higit pa sa ROI ang nakuha ko. Bago man lang ako mag settle  kasi ako nalang single saming magakakapatid🤣 atleast panatag ang loob ko sa kanila😊

Ps: 5 years in the making po ito! matagal dahil di kaya ang biglaan.😅
