1️⃣ Matulog nang maaga bago ang medical
Ang kulang sa tulog ay pwedeng magdulot ng:
❌ high blood pressure
❌ low oxygen level
❌ abnormal ECG
❌ eye fatigue
✅ Target: 7–8 oras na tulog bago ang medical day.
2️⃣ Iwasan ang matataba, maalat, at mamantikang pagkain (1–3 days before)
Karaniwang dahilan ng failed results:
• mataas na cholesterol
• elevated liver enzymes
• high blood pressure
• triglycerides spike
❌ Iwas muna sa:
• chicharon
• fried foods
• fast food
• instant noodles
• soft drinks
3️⃣ No alcohol (3–5 days before)
Kahit isang bote ng beer ay pwedeng makaapekto sa:
❌ liver enzymes
❌ blood pressure
❌ ECG results
❌ kidney function
✅ Mas safe: 5 days na walang alcohol.
4️⃣ No smoking sa araw ng medical
Ang paninigarilyo 1–2 oras bago ang check-up ay maaaring magdulot ng:
❌ high BP
❌ abnormal ECG
❌ low lung function
✅ Kung kaya, iwasan 24 hours before.
5️⃣ Hydrate properly 💧
Uminom ng 6–8 baso ng tubig sa loob ng 24 hours bago ang medical.
Nakakatulong sa:
✔️ normal kidney function
✔️ clean urine results
✔️ mas madaling blood extraction
6️⃣ Iwas sugary drinks (24 hours before)
Pwedeng mag-spike ang blood sugar.
❌ Iwas sa:
• milk tea
• soda
• sweet coffee
• energy drinks
7️⃣ Light breakfast only (kung hindi fasting)
Kung allowed kumain, piliin lang ang:
✔️ saging
✔️ oatmeal
✔️ boiled egg
✔️ plain bread
❌ Iwas heavy meals bago kuhanan ng BP at labs.
8️⃣ Iwas strenuous exercise (24 hours before)
Heavy workout ay pwedeng magdulot ng:
❌ mataas na creatinine
❌ elevated liver enzymes
❌ abnormal heart rate
👉 Kaya wag muna mag-gym.
9️⃣ Dalhin ang eyeglasses o prescription 👓
Ang vision test ay isa sa mga karaniwang dahilan ng delay.
Kung naka-salamin ka, dalhin ito.
🔟 Ihanda ang mga dokumento 📄
✔️ Passport
✔️ Medical slip mula sa agency
✔️ Previous medical records (optional pero helpful)
✔️ Vaccination card / Yellow card (kung meron)
1️⃣1️⃣ I-manage ang stress 🧘♂️
Kapag kinakabahan, tumataas ang BP at heart rate.
Breathing technique:
👉 inhale – 4 seconds
👉 hold – 4 seconds
👉 exhale – 6 seconds
🔁 Ulitin ng 3–4 beses bago BP check.
1️⃣2️⃣ Dumating nang maaga ⏰
Mas relaxed, mas mabilis matapos, at mas stable ang vitals.
⚠️ Important Note
Kung may dating medical condition (thyroid, kidney, hypertension, atbp.), mas mainam na magpa-check up muna sa local clinic 1–2 weeks before para may sapat na oras mag-comply at maiwasan ang delay o repeat medical.
