SLOW DOWN YOUR LIFE--AND LOVE MORE.
Ever since I had Covid last April, I’ve slowed down my life.
I enjoy my life more.
That crisis really woke me up.
When I realized that I could die anytime, I saw—in vivid crystal technicolor—what really mattered in life.
So my lifestyle transformed. Spontaneously.
I do my morning rituals more consistently—meditation, exercise, etc. And I take my time doing it. I relish it—like it’s the most important thing I do for the day.
And every evening, I end my workday at 6pm, so I could enjoy my time with my sons and, before sleeping, watch a cheesy Kdrama with my wife. Some guys may be asking, “Bo, why? How could you tolerate the mushiness?”
My simple answer: While watching, I get lots of hugs and kisses from my wife every time she feels kilig. My gosh, how can I complain?
Let me describe to you when I was still a workaholic.
First, I’d rush through my morning rituals because my mind was already racing through my very long “To-Do” List.
Second, I had very long workdays. I would sign off at 10pm. Every single day.
Not anymore.
I’m a changed man.
But lest you think otherwise, in the shorter hours that I work each day, I’m still able to do everything I need to do: Write books, create podcasts, shoot videos, lead businesses, craft plans, etc. In fact, I’ve started a few new projects in the past few months.
My goal is to love.
Whatever I can fit in my slowed-down life.
Life is short.
Focus on what truly matters.❤️
