How to manage.

Recently, I was in Singapore πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬ with my daughter for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert. My daughter's a Swifty. πŸ₯°

Anyway, this post is about marketing and business, related to what I've observed from this experience.

At first, I was concerned about how the 60,000 people would be managed. 😳

But you know what? When we arrived at OCBC Square to collect the merchandise, we did so quickly! There was no havoc either.

There's also a mall there. It was so convenient for me to buy a new shirt (because I sweated too much), and there was no long queue to order food there.

The most impressive part is that we could leave the concert smoothly by taking the MRT, which the concert crew highly suggests.

It's truly fascinating how efficient it was! We don't even need to squeeze in! 😁

With all of these in mind…

There's a reason why Taylor Swift picked Singapore for her concert tour here, right?

On top of that, she gets paid millions by the government of Singapore as well.

As a speaker, I can value being paid to speak instead of going on stage to present for free and needing to pitch. That's probably for some other posts.

At the same time...

There are others who complain about why Singapore is the only place to attend the Era concert in this region.

Let's be 100% honest and truthful without bias — is there another country in Southeast Asia that can manage the concert as smoothly as this? I haven't even touched on safety, airport arrival queues, public transport efficiency, etc.

πŸ‘‰ Here's a lesson in business I want to bring out today…

There will always be people who will complain, even if they are not your customers!

For instance, some are not planning to attend the concert, yet they complain about why it's only held in Singapore. πŸ™„

To succeed in business, always remember this:

The best way to make decisions is to consider the best option for your customers to be happy with your product and how your business can earn more.

Oh. One more thing - Taylor Swift is the apex of personal branding. 😎
