How To See My Doctor, Dr Ang Peng Tiam, Cancer Specialist in Singapore.

By Doc Willie Ong and Doc Liza Ong

Because of the large number of cancer patients asking me how to see my doctor, Dr Ang Peng Tiam, here is a detailed account on what to do.

There are no hopeless cases here.

1. Coordinate in Front Desk thru Vien or Lina +6596182187 (Parkway Cancer Centre Mount Elizabeth Orchard Medical Centre), message or call thru viber and whatsapp. Give the name of patient, name of relative and contact number so they can return your call or message. She will give you a schedule when to see Dr. Ang Peng Tiam, Oncologist (cancer doctor).

2. Send pictures of passport of the patient, and laboratories done in the Philippines thru viber and whatsapp +6596182187.

3. Best day to go here in Singapore is on a Sunday so you can settle down in your hotel. 4. Do fasting (6 hours no food, coffee or candy so can do a blood test, pet scan and other procedures) on a monday morning, Doctor Ang will see you and orders laboratory exams to be done. Clinic is at Level 2 of Mount Elizabeth Hospital. The following day, you will have diagnosis and may start treatment already. Laboratories here at Mount Elizabeth Hospital are fast and efficient. Many staff at the laboratories and hospital wards are Filipinos.

Hospital Address: 3 Mount Elizabeth, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre (Orchard) Singapore 228510.

Clinic is called Parkway Cancer Centre (PCC) is at level 2, room 2.

5. Chemotherapy is just on an out-patient basis in PCC room. Medicines are all provided by PCC.

Singapore has a 9%GST (tax) including hospitals.

8. Singapore Immigration do your visit pass 2 days or a day before your trip: https://www.ica.gov.sg/

No need to get a visa but do a Visit Pass online which is good for 30 days (must declare your money if more than $20,000).

Note: make sure to input correct passport number, double check, so there will be no problem in the computerized immigration.

Fill up Philippine Immigration also: https://etravel.gov.ph/

Breakfast for the relatives is in Paragon Mall (mall doors are open 24 hours): 7-11 (can heat food in their microwave), Toast Box, Yakun Kaya Toast at the basement (both opens at 7:30am).
