I think about how lucky I am to have passed the board exam in my first take. I got 50% on Power Plant Engineering and 70% on my average rating!
I was on top of the world when I took my oath as a Mechanical Engineer. My father insisted that I wear a custom suit.
I said, "Tatay hindi po ako nakapasa sa bar exams, sa engineering po ako nakapasa"
He said, "Ah basta gusto ko naka suit ka. Ako naman ang gagastos eh"
My parents were so happy and proud!
