The Blue Ribbon Committee has been silenced. Senator Lacson, a seasoned truth-seeker, has resigned. Mayor Benjie Magalong, a symbol of integrity, has stepped away from the Integrity and Compliance Initiative.
These resignations are not routine—they are warnings.
Meanwhile, the small fishes are prosecuted while the whales dance freely. The architects of the most scandal-ridden budget in our history remain untouched.
President Marcos Jr. now casts himself as a whistleblower, distancing from a budget he signed. But the people are not confused. They are watching.
The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) stands as the last credible hope for truth. But hope without transparency is hollow.
Livestreaming the investigation is not a luxury—it is a public right. Press briefings and filtered summaries will not suffice. The people deserve to see the facts unfold in real time, without spin, without choreography.
Because when institutions shut down, when leaders resign, and when accountability is delayed, transparency becomes the only line of defense against impunity.
Let the cameras roll. Let the truth speak.
