Imagine

Friends, imagine hanging out near a café late at night when three kids suddenly rush toward you, palms open, asking for coins. Small voices. Dirty shirts. The kind of moment most people brush off without thinking. But that night, they approached Benj Camanian Paquibot— and instead of handing out loose change, he handed them a lesson they never saw coming. 👨🏻‍🏫

Benj didn’t give them money. He gave them capital: two sealed pieces of bread. “Don’t beg,” he told them. “Sell these. Twenty pesos each.” The kids froze, confused. Selling felt unfamiliar. Risky. But they tried anyway. Minutes later, they ran back, breathless and shocked, holding their first honest earnings. 🥐🥐

Before letting them take the next step, Benj stopped them with a simple instruction: “Go home first. Change your clothes. Find something clean. Look presentable.” He wasn’t just teaching them to earn — he was teaching them dignity. The value of showing up like someone who believes in their own future. 🛀🏻

Benj pushed them forward. “Use the money. Buy more. Bread. Chips. Anything you can flip.” And suddenly the cycle came alive. Sell. Reinvest. Sell again. Their pockets grew heavier. Their posture straighter. Three kids who arrived as beggars now working like tiny entrepreneurs building their own capital from scratch. 🪙

And here’s the part that stays with you: Benj didn’t just teach them how to make money. He taught them who they could become. That effort creates pride. That self-respect grows the moment you stop waiting and start doing.

Maybe this night was small to the world. But to those kids, it was a doorway.
Sometimes all it takes is one adult who believes you’re capable of more. 💛
